Cae Ffynnon

A very relaxing week in this lovely bungalow.

It was a very quiet & peaceful location. The wet room was ideal for my husbands needs. The owner lives next door and was lovely to talk to but didn't make you feel you were being watched at any time. Ideal location for getting to anywhere on Anglesey or back over to the mainland. Would be happy to visit the bungalow again.

Clean everything you needed for home comforts. Central for everything. Dog friendly. Great break.

Beautiful cottage, set in amazing grounds and very peaceful and private.

Hidden away down a country lane. Local shops and takeaways were only a mile or so down the road. We had one disturbance at night when a camper knocked on the wrong door looking for the owners. Just as a suggestion, maybe a sign on the house to indicate where they are would help? One irk was that there was no back door. Our pooch likes to go in and out of his own accord and couldn't do this here. Not sure how to get around that though. There were gaps in the boundary where our dog would easily have done a Houdini attempt and did actually try too. Think boarding or a fence on the other side of the hedge all around is needed. There is chicken wire but whether some has broken or come away, I am not sure. The owners were absolutely lovely, very friendly and hard working. Very approachable, can't fault them. Cottage was super clean with pleasant decoration and furniture. Double bed was very comfy and bedding was lush!

A very well maintained cottage with all you really need for a self catering base.

The family live on site and are friendly and helpful. A good level of equipment in the kitchen, makes for an easy time. Nice sitting room and pleasant bedroom. Toilet and wet room ok, more hooks for hanging things while in the shower would be an improvement. Externally a nice secluded patio area with table and chairs, sunny for most of the day. The location is very convenient, being only a couple of minutes from the bridges. We had a very enjoyable stay here and would recommend Cae Ffynnon to anyone.

We booked the day before our stay and the cottage was perfect. Spotlessly clean and just like home from home. Nerys and John are lovely hosts and on hand should you need anything. Lots of walks near by for doggies Definitely 5 stars

Anglesey is the most amazing place, beautiful beaches and scenery to die for. We will definitely becoming back and we will definitely stay at Car Ffynnon. Thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage which was super clean and tidy.

From the description on Sykes I didn't know it was one of many cottages or that there is also a small caravan park within the grounds but I have to stress how well everything has been done and this cottage is in a corner and had privacy and was very peaceful. If you don't mind a little drive to the nearest beach or beaches then I would thoroughly recommend Cae Ffynon.

This is our third visit to Cae Ffynnon and as always, we had a very enjoyable stay.

It is serviced by good roads, nearby shops and of course all the beautiful beaches in Anglesey. Would definitely return.

The property was lovely and cosy.

A small property but perfect for what we wanted, clean, warm and nicely decorated. Easy to find, if you read the directions properly! Quite and out of the way, but close enough to everything you need. Loved the road to get to the property, think we only saw two cars, so nice to walk with our dogs. The only small negative was there was no door directly into the back garden you had to go out the front door, but it was well enclosed and secure, it was only a small issue for us because our dogs like to go out in the early hours to go toilet. The owners were lovely and really helpful. We went at the new year to get away from fireworks and a big plus was we didn't heat anything. Lovely quiet and restful stay. Thank you!

Front door lock needs looking at took a few tries to unlock and lock apart from door everything else was fine

We had a really good week, the house was really good and in a quiet setting, Close to amenities and would recommend.

We had a lovely time in the cottage, we found it to be like a home from home, clean and welcoming and we would highly recommend a stay there.
