There was no hair dryer.

The shelves on the fridge door were still missing. This was mentioned in previous reviews but we thought there had been time to remedy this. It made the storage difficult in the fridge and we had to shop more often.

We had a lovely week at no 2, the weather was great and the accommodation was lovely, ideally situated for exploring the area, had a great time

We had a fabulous week at 2 Mountain View.

The cottage was lovely, the outside space was possibly the best yet for our dog and we’ve done a lot of cottage breaks with him. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs, there was only one minor issue with the fridge as there’s no storage shelves in the door. The bed was comfortable, it would be nice to have a lamp on both sides of the bed and maybe a mirror for make up and hair drying but it wasn’t a big issue The cottage is in an ideal spot for exploring Anglesey and there is plenty of interesting places to visit. Parking on site in front of the cottage was excellent. Very good WiFi connection. The gift of Milk, eggs, bread and Prosecco was really lovely. All in all a great holiday and we would be happy to recommend

Beautiful, modern cottage, perfect central location to tour the island.

Excellent enclosed garden for our two dogs. Very clean but short on mirrors especially for ladies in the bedroom, couch seating needs replace or repair as very uncomfortable, need shelf for tioletries in the shower & the fridge door is broken so there is nowhere to keep milk etc. The welcome pack is very extensive with bread,butter,milk,eggs & prosecco.

An absolute gem, well located for the day trips out we were looking for.

It was a quiet ,relaxing and enjoyable holiday. When returning after our trips out it was comfortable to sit and relax. Cooking facilities were excellent for evening meals. WiFi connection was really good and Netflix was available on the large tv screen. The welcome pack was the best we’ve ever had ,we have used Sykes cottages for over twelve years. Well thought out property with quality bedding and furniture. Will definitely return again. Well done to the owners .

We have been coming to Anglesey for about 10 years and I can honestly say this is one of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Every fixture and fitting was of top quality. There is absolutely only positives to say about the property. We will definitely visit again.

This was our second visit to Mountain View cottages - first visit was to #1.

We weren’t disappointed. Beautifully presented for a comfortable and peaceful stay with everything we needed for a relaxing break. Centrally located for visiting all parts of the island. The owners have thought of everything and a generous welcome gift on arrival was much appreciated. We love it here and hope to be back soon :)

We had such a lovely time here - the location was perfect and the hosts went the extra mile to make sure our break was amazing.

Lovely cottage comfortable got everything you need clean but quiet alot of cob webs around I only seen owners I asked about things and I messaged them it was a guessing game if they were the owners or not when they came to see me would if been nice if they introduced them selfs other than that nice place quiet good for my dogs all fenced of as mine will run if not fenced

Everything you need. The peace and quiet we had there was such a joy. Secure garden for our little dog. Super comfy bed. Would love to go back again. Definitely worth a visit.

We stayed at 2 Mountain View for one week late March.

The cottage is the middle of three terraced cottages located centrally in Anglesey. The cottage was clean and fresh which met our needs completely. Everything is on one floor with an open plan design and is well equipped and comfortable. Being the middle cottage of three it was surprisingly peaceful with no discernible noise from tenants in the other cottages. There are three supermarkets a short drive down the road into the town and a number of dog friendly pubs within a few miles. Two lovely beaches are a short drive, Benllech and Red Wharf bay and Newborough a little further. Our hosts were available if needed and responsive to messages. Would happily stay again and can recommend.

The cottage was lovely, spacious and well laid out, the owners provided us with a fantastic welcome pack, including a starter pack for the wood burner, which we used every night, making the cottage warm and cosy, owners were very welcoming, helpful and told us places where we could walk the dog the cottage had a good central heating system, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen including a washing machine, bed was very comfortable, linen provided.

powerful shower, towels provided plenty of hot water. The only suggestion i would make to improve on would be to use pillowcase protectors on the pillows and use a plain white duvet protector to avoid stains etc, there were a couple of high up cob webs on the light fittings in the kitchen, which wasn't a problem as we understand when you are in the country you expect it. I would most deffinately return and recommend the cottage. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Fantastic holiday property, very clean and well equipped and central to visit all of Anglesey.

Super welcome pack which was very much appreciated. The only issue we had was the boiler in the bedroom cupboard which came on during the night and was noisy .but in a small property there is limited choice of where to place it. We would definitely book again as we enjoyed our Anglesey holiday.

It is very clean and comfortable and we received a lovely welcome pack which was very useful as we travel with our dog so don’t have much space left in the car for food. The location is so peaceful. The owners are very welcoming but not intrusive.

Very nice and well kept cottage.

Everything you need for your stay including a welcome pack which was appreciated. The only thing missing was a hairdryer, fortunately we always take our own. The cottage itself is down a quiet road and perfectly placed within easy reach of most places on the island.

We loved our stay at 2 Mountain View, the property is gorgeous, well equipped with everything you could want and was very comfortable.

We especially liked the pillows. There was a great welcome pack with a bottle of Prosecco too. It’s a quiet area and only five minutes from the shops. The garden was enclosed which was great for our two dogs and there was a small grassed area for them too. It would also be nice in winter too with the log burner. I would highly recommend a stay.

Absolutely lovely cottage very clean and tidy with everything you need, very quite and the owners where so nice and helpful, nice finishing touches like the fresh flowers and fresh milk, bread, butter and eggs was a nice surprise.

Had a lovely stay at 2 Mountain View, the property was clean an comfortable, kitchen had all necessary equipment, the welcome pack was a nice surprise.

The fridge and the boiler (housed in the main bedroom) made a noise as they came on and went off, which woke me up a few times the first night, but was not a problem after that.

A very pleasant stay in a well equipped cottage in a very convenient location.

What a perfect peaceful place to stay, to explore the island.

We were cycling and walking the coastal path and everywhere was within a 20 minute (max) drive. Lovely hosts, Sion and Donna greeted us on arrival but were not intrusive. It was nice to know they were there if we needed local knowledge. Local Spa and pub is 5 min drive away. The flowers, Prosecco and welcome pack full of local produce was an added bonus. Thank you

Cottage has high ceilings, giving a feeling of space. An ideal central location to travel around Ynys Mon. We would recommend.

Ample parking just outside the front door. Everything you could need inside the cottage and all quality fittings.

The cottage was beautiful with all the necessary things to make a fabulous experience. The owners were so welcoming and left us a lovely welcome pack. We were even given access to the paddock to give the dogs a run. Perfect location to get anywhere on the island.

We have just returned from our second stay in this lovely cottage and were not disappointed, it was as good as our first.

Beautiful cottage set in a quiet location, within easy reach of lots of amenities. Enclosed field along side cottages to allow your pet to enjoy safe freedom of the countryside. Cottage beautifully presented with a very generous hamper on arrival. Very pleasant owners live next door and are on hand for any issues. Ideal location to local shops in Llangefni, then nearby A55 giving you access to all the island has to offer. Can highly recommend and we will certainly be returning.

Beautiful location and quiet.

Parked the Car right outside the house. Plenty of room for 2 and our small dog. Comfy and cosy. Everything you needed. Lovely welcome gifts in the kitchen! Very friendly hosts.

This is a 5-star property, we were made welcome by the owners on arrival and a very generous welcome pack greeted us possibly the best we have ever had.

The fixtures and fittings were top quality and the cottage was warm and cozy the bed was very comfortable. Our cocker spaniel Maisie was also made very welcome. All I can say is that you will not be disappointed with the perfect place to chill-lax and recharge your batteries we are planning our next visit.

Despite the awful weather we had for some of our stay we were very comfortable in 2 Mountain View and enjoyed our holiday very much.

It’s in a good central location for seeing the beauty of Anglesey and not far from local amenities. The cottage was spotlessly clean on our arrival with a lovely welcome pack waiting for us a really nice place to stay.

A lovely cottage ,spotlessly clean the only complaint was the bed was to hard.

I also made a suggestion that they could do with a little step stool in the kitchen so you could reach the top shelf of the cupboards & a full length mirror in the hall , other than that it was excellent. We only left a day early because of the weather & my Daughter had been rushed into hospital on the Wednesday

Just returned from a lovely stay in this cottage which I can highly recommend.

Cottage modernised to a very high standard and all the comforts required for a weeks holiday. A very generous Welcome pack was waiting from the owner along with fresh flowers in the lounge. An enclosed garden for our dog Millie along with a larger open garden for her to run around. Ideal location near Llangefni which has all the shops you may require for a self catering holiday. Very close to Red Wharf Bay which is one of the best dog friendly beaches on the island. We’ve enjoyed our stay so much we’ve already booked a return visit.

The accommodation was as good as you could hope for, very clean and comfortable.

The owners were available, if required, friendly without being obtrusive. We won’t be returning to wonderful Anglesey. Too many many places we wished to visit were not dog friendly, sadly.

Lovely stay in this perfectly situated cottage.

Sion and Donna were extremely welcoming with the beautiful goodies on our arrival, not to mention the home-grown tomatoes later in the week. A great base to explore the local area.

Upon arrival we immediately fell in love with the property location and appearance… we were greeted by the very friendly owners.

We were given a tour of the cottage, which has everything you could possibly need, home from home! there was a super welcome surprise hamper awaiting us inside, which was a lovely gesture, gratefully received. They were so helpful in recommending various local area beaches, restaurants and places of interest to us which we found so very useful. Each cottage has its own parking space, and there’s a handy paddock for letting your dog have an exercise and sniff around, plus the kids have a handy area to have a kick around with their football. There’s free Wi-Fi, a smart tv, it’s own outside relaxing/sitting area. We have this cottage, (without hesitation) earmarked for another break next year! Thank’s to Sion and Donna who made it the perfect break for us.

Had an absolutely fabulous stay, the hosts and cottage were lovely, everything needed there for a totally enjoyable experience and central to the places we wanted to visit.

The cottage was very clean and well furnished, welcome pack was a lovely touch and the added bonus of an enclosed field to exercise the dog if needed. We were able to totally relax when at home and know our large dog was enclosed in our private patio area, would definitely recommend and we will be returning. thanks for our stay

The property was immaculate and felt like a home from home. Everything was perfect; location, cottage, comfortable bed, recliner sofa (super comfy after a day of exploring), fabulous outside furniture (swinging double chair and a large padded corner sofa), spotlessly clean and a lovely welcome pack of bread, butter, eggs, Starbucks coffee, tea, sugar, milk AND Prosecco!! Absolutely perfect for our Labrador dog, extremely spacious cottage, super safe for your furry family member and the added bonus of an enclosed grassy area for convenient doggie exercise within the grounds of the cottages. We were blown away and couldn't have wished for more. The hosts were so lovely, on hand if you needed them but respectful of your private holiday time. If you're going to the wonderful Isle of Anglesey, stay here.... you won't regret it. Thanks Donna and Sion, you'll definitely see us again ❤️

Marvellous stay in a wonderfully clean and equipped cottage in a lovely rural location.

Nice seating area outside, our two cocker spaniels loved it!! Central to all locations on Angelsey, so it was only a short drive wherever you are going. Will definitely stay there again, so happy with everything ❤

Lovely clean and homely cottage situated in a quiet location with secure fence to enable our pups to play safely without leads on.

Close enough to beaches. There is everything you need, and the welcome pack is amazing including a bottle of chilled Prosecco! A vase of fresh flowers too adding to the welcome. Owners Donna and Sion (Shawn) are lovely friendly hosts who gave us a great welcome upon arrival. ☺ Would definitely recommend to stay here if you like a perfect holiday.

Wonderful property and welcoming hosts.

They were there if needed, but not at all intrusive. Welcome tray and bottle of fizz in the fridge was a lovely touch. Cottage was very well appointed and has everything you need for a relaxing get-away.

The accommodation was immaculate and had everything you could wish for.

The welcome pack provided was a very nice surprise.

The heating system kept breaking down twice to be exact, fortunately the owner was on site to fix, otherwise we could be without hot water all day.

Location is great and hosts were brilliant and really friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Have already recommended to a few friends who also have dogs as it is the nicest and best place we have used so far that allows our dogs to come too

Excellent location for all that Anglesey has to offer although you will need to use the car as there is nowhere within walking distance.

The property is first class and the owners (who live behind 2 Mountain View) are extremely friendly and helpful. The property is well equipped and there are shopping facilities within a short car ride. South Stack RSPB centre is about 30 minutes away, Newborough Beach about 20 and Red Wharf Bay is 11 minutes by car. Easy car drive to Beaumaris and Penmon Point. Recommended.
