Nice location in the middle of Anglesey making it a great location to explore the island.

Quiet and peaceful. Everything you need, home from home and very well used with great feedback in their guestbook from previous visitors, with a lot of people returning for multiple visits speaks for itself

Mountain View is exceptionally relaxing, bird song, Rabbits in the field behind, neighbouring cows.

The property is lovely the fixtures, fittings and furniture were of a high standard. Close to Amenities, walks and places of interest. The property had everything you needed for a luxury break away. Will return in the future, use the ‘wat three words’ to find this lovely hidden Gem. There are two other cottages but you have your own privacy. One review commented on the WiFi however this has been addressed and the WiFi was perfect to watch a film in the evening if you wish on the smart TV. We had a fantastic week away at Mountain View.

The property offered plenty of space, which was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The cottage itself was very well equipped—everything you could need was thoughtfully provided. The location suited us perfectly, making it easy to explore Anglesey and the mainland. There was so much to see and do that we simply ran out of time! We’re already hoping to return so we can tick off the rest of the walks and places on our list.

What a lovely clean and well looked after place.

We can't fault it in any way, we will definitely be going back. Hopefully better weather next time.lol

It’s so lovely to find a such a wonderful place that lets the fur babies stay & join in, Anglesey is such a lovely place to visit, plenty of dog friendly walks & places to see.

Lovely property and very clean.

Very peaceful location but not too far from local pubs and shops. Our only niggle was the mattress was very hard, we could feel the springs on one side, maybe some better pillows would also help.

My stay at number 3 Mountain View was comfortable and above all clean and the owner was very friendly.

My stay was cut short due to my wife’s illness, but I hope to return as soon as possible.

!! It's the small things which keep us returning. Thank you for the welcome treats, they are always a lovely gesture. The cottage has everything that you need, there is a well stocked kitchen of equipment, if you fancy cooking a meal. The garden is totally secure but Bo especially loved the use of the field to play ball after a day exploring the island.

We didn’t have any complaints, well equipped and clean. The dogs were happy as well! Nice little welcome pack of essentials which was a lovely touch, thank you.

Really lovely modern cottage.

Very clean Generous welcome pack. Secure garden and also a field to let the dogs have a run. Just a small quip,if you like a large bath towel, l suggest that you take your own. Also the directions for the cottage isn't very good. When the satnav tells you that you are there, look for the bus stop and there is a small dirt track directly opposite, just go up there and you will find it. Just one more thing, the cottage is very central to most places on Anglesey.

Lovely accommodation well thought out and beautifully clean.

Perfect for travelling with a dog. Central island location gives plenty of options for places to visit.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped. We had a great week helped enormously by the beautiful weather which meant we could also make use of the great outdoor space. The dogs loved it and we loved watching the lambs and rabbits running around in the field each morning.

The care pack left by Sion & Donna was a lovely touch especially the chilled Prosecco :) Mountain View is the perfect base to explore the wonderful Isle of Anglesey, it is also a rare find to find such a beautiful place that is dog friendly, the fur babies loved it.

Really lovely cosy cottage.

It had everything that we needed for a fabulous 7 nights. I had stayed in the 2 bedroom one 2 years ago & this cottage was getting renovated then so I was really pleased this was available for us to stay in. We both needed a peaceful, relaxing stay & this was made all the better by the weather being amazing for early February. The only slight thing I would point out is the hot water in the kitchen didn’t seem to get as hot as in the Bathroom, it didn’t cause us any issues but it was just something minor that I picked up on. We will definitely stay again - thank you

Great little cottage for 2 people and our 2 x labrador's.

Fully enclosed garden and small field to help your dogs let of steam first thing in morning !! Everything is supplied in the kitchen to rustle up a good meal with a good size tall boy fridge freezer and cupboard space. Shower pressure is very good and just what we needed after a long day walking, Very accessible by car for short journey to local big shopping stores and dining out. About 20 mins by car to most local beaches including Traeth Lligwy, Traeth Llanddwyn, Traeth Crigyll, Borth Wen and Red Wharf Bay. The only thing I would say to Sion & Donna is that it would be the icing on the cake to have a king size bed with a comfy mattress but I would definitely re-book to stay at this lovely location.

The communication between Sykes and ourselves we found very frustrating and difficult.

We could not speak to a person about the possibly of moving our dates, which was due to unfortunate circumstances. The site told us we could contact the owners directly but we were informed to ‘stop’ contacting the owner direct regarding our booking. The site published office hours but on attempting to ring I was asked to send a WhatsApp message? The cottage was lovely and the owners very pleasant. A great base to explore Anglesey. Very safe for dogs. Thank you owners. John

Was a beautiful place so peaceful and clean with everything you need and secure for your dogs with is a big plus for us we were luck enough to see the red squirrels and also had the northern lights one evening was amazing to see thanks to the hosts for a great stay

Fabulous property.

Well thought out, clean and comfortable. It is particularly suitable for a dog owner as the enclosed outdoor area with good nighttime lighting and durable no mess surfaces makes caring for your pet easy. A covered small outdoor bin for storing poop bags before they are added in bulk to the big bin would be useful as would more advice of which local restaurants accept dogs. Your welcome pack was a lovely surprise and having met you reflects your charming hospitality. Thank you.

This was my 3rd stay at Mountain View but my first in cottage 3.

Beautiful cottage providing everything needed for a self catering holiday. Very comfortable and clean with a generous welcome pack. Ideal location with a small secure field and a grass area to exercise any dog safely. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly hosts Sion and Donna who live immediately behind cottages. Llangefni with its plentiful shops is only two miles away. Easy access to all main roads taking you on an adventure of the island. A lovely stay, I will certainly be returning.

It has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you for the flowers, Prosecco and other items to welcome us, it made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this cottage.

We loved the location of 3 Mountain View, so peaceful and surrounded by countryside.

Rabbits and pheasants as neighbours, fabulous. The owners left us a very generous welcome pack of bread, Welsh butter, farm eggs and milk, tea, coffee, sugar and a bottle of chilled prosecco. We also got a personal visit from them on our arrival, which was really lovely. The cottage has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable reclining sofa and dining area. The bug bear for us was that we were rarely able to get an Internet connection, it was very sketchy and was only 0.2mbs, which won't allow use of the Smart TV properly. We had difficulty being able to communicate with family at home when we were at the cottage because there was no signal on our mobiles and therefore no data either. Either blackout blinds or curtains are needed in the bedroom because we were waking up at 4.30 every morning, or take a sleep mask. Plenty of car parking space and the outside space is lovely with 3 different seating areas with countryside views. So many wonderful places to visit which were easily accessible within a short drive from the cottage. We would still love to return again someday. Thank you so much.

A very clean, comfortable and cosy cottage in a peaceful location that was ideal for exploring Anglesey.

The fully enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and for relaxing in with a glass of wine after a day of exploring. The owners, Donna and Sion, were very welcoming, especially enjoyed the welcome goodies. Our only negative comment would be that the Wi-Fi was very hit and miss. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this cottage and would happily stay there again. Thank you for a lovely holiday

The welcome pack was amazing.

The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was too firm for us ( personal choice) but clean. Bathroom had damp patches especially near the toilet. The garden was dog friendly and the dog field was good. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet..We had a good time exploring Anglesey. Definitely a good base. WiFi hit and miss even connected to mains , EE non existent. We had a lovely stay..

Once again another wonderful holiday thanks to Sykes.

Very nice modern cottage. Tastefully furnished and well equipped ( no hairdryer though) Super comfy sofa! Generous welcome pack. Great Central location for exploring Anglesey. The local reservoir and The Dingle about 5 mins drive, perfect for dog walks. Look out for the red squirrels! The dog loved running round the garden and the owner kindly let us use the small field for a run about. I would suggest some black out blinds or a least some curtains in the bedroom, the vertical blinds didn’t keep out the light so I was awake early, but that meant more time exploring and enjoying this beautiful spot. ( can I order some sunshine next time please lol!)

A beautifully converted building, warm and cosy, just the place spend Christmas.

A short drive to good dog walking places, Cefni reservoir is close by and an easy 3 mile walk around it. Very friendly owners who are nearby if you need anything. Would highly recommend Mountain View.

Great place to stay in a lovely location close to everything you need for adventures in Anglesey.

The house itself was very clean, comfortable and the little welcome hamper was a nice touch. The garden was very dog friendly - the fence is built high so you can relax knowing your dog won’t escape. The owners popped by to introduce themselves which was lovely and were very welcoming. Would highly recommend this play to stay, we had a great time, including the dog and we will definitely be back

Absolutely perfect!

Beautiful little cottage in a lovely peaceful setting, well equipped a true home from home! and a totally dog safe Garden! Just a short drive to the local town, Llangefni which has lots of shops and supermarkets. There are also lots of lovely restaurants and old-fashioned pubs on Anglesey all very friendly. This cottage is pretty central on the island which makes it the perfect base while exploring beautiful Anglesey! Lovely personal touches by the owners Sion and Donna ❤️ a perfect welcome pack, fresh flowers and a visit in person to check everything was ok and offer of help should I need it! I will be sad to leave x

Having stayed at lots of cottages before and having a dog requiring an enclosed garden, many advertise theirs having one but aren’t suitable, this cottage had a garden on 3 sides of the property, on the day of arrival the owners came to check everything was okay and introduced themselves the welcome pack was excellent with tea coffee bread butter eggs milk and a bottle of Prosecco the cottage itself was at a very high standard for both decor and comfort and should be 5 star ⭐️ we would definitely recommend this property to all our friends and family and if we are ever going back to the area would stay again we had a wonderful holiday thank you Bob, Ros and blaze(collie)

Absolutely beautiful place

We have stayed at Mountain View Cottages before but this was the first time at number 3 .

The accommodation is fantastic .Bonuses of this property are the large secure wrap around garden and full size fridge/ freezer if you prefer to self cater .We will be back got sure !

Lovely area and the cottage was great for us and our collie Bruce. Highly recommend the cottage and area, Anglesey is beautiful.

What an absolute gem of a place.

The cottage is surprisingly spacious with a lot of outside space and seating. The owners are so lovely, and have done a wonderful job with the cottage. We stayed here for a week with our 2 little dogs, they loved running around in all the adjoining fields! Very close to the coast on both sides, closest being about 10 mins drive away. Great for a beach exploring getaway. Can’t wait to come back!

Well equipped and lovely furniture in the cottage. Owners welcomed us and very friendly and helpful. We loved the area so much to do, so near all shops and eating places 5 mins in car. Very dog friendly. Will go back thanks again.
