We had a truly wonderful time and are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed there.

The location is absolutely idyllic, offering stunning, peaceful views that made every morning a joy. It felt like a true escape from the everyday hustle and bustle and was perfectly placed to explore so many beautiful nearby places. We highly recommend the amazing walk to the nearby Dorothea quarry, which offers great views and a lot of history. The property itself was immaculate and clearly well-cared for. It was cozy, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing break. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept so well—something you don't always get when you're away from home. The information provided before our stay was thorough and helpful, making the arrival and departure process completely seamless. It was exactly the kind of restorative break we needed. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet, and comfortable retreat. Thank you for a fantastic holiday! We will more than likely be visiting again at some point.

A snug & cosy little cottage, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped.

Convenient for Snowdonia and the Lleyn peninsula, north to Anglesey and south to Porthmadog etc. Even the weather was kind to us!

A clean and tidy house.

little thoughtful extras with tea, coffee etc. Back garden was too steep to enjoy properly. Over all we all enjoyed our stay. Would do with leaving some bin bags and explaining where the bins are. And yes we would stay again. Ps I tried to tighten the bottom hinge of the bathroom door...

The cottage is very well equipped, cosy, clean and perfectly located for exploring Snowdonia National Park. We would definitely recommend and would like to return in the future.

The property is a lovely quiet location with beautiful views from the front and the back. The location is an ideal base for visiting most places in North Wales and Snowdonia. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and we loved the size of the rooms. We would highly recommend and would have no hesitation in booking again if we wanted to visit the area again.

The house was perfect for our family stay, clean, comfortable and well equipped.

This is the best kitted holiday home we've been in.

Some lovely thoughtful touches for the visitor eg Maps advice on walking/ outdoor activities, children's DVDS books etc. Fantastic views from the house and walking nearby. The owner was most helpful.

We enjoyed our stay very much, amazing views and so convenient to explore the area.

We would certainly recommend the cottage to others and will definitely be back at some point.

Lovely cottage, cosy and beautiful inside and smelt lovely and clean.

The cottage had everything we needed , the views were amazing and there was a small supermarket in the village. Parking was a little bit difficult at times, but wasn’t too much of a problem. Would definitely recommend this beautiful cosy cottage as a place to stay and it was a lovely place to come back to.

We were so impressed with this property.

It really exceeded our expectations - which were already quite high to start with. Everything we needed was provided, and more. From a really well equipped kitchen, to a fantastic range of DVDs, through to little things like a drawer with charging cables for mobile devices, made the stay very comformtable. The view from the front is stunning and it's location was perfect for accessing the mountains and coast. We were also really impressed with the communication from Chris and Sharron, who ensured we had all the details and infomrtion needed. We will certainly be recommending this propery as well as Sykes to framily and friends.

A well equipped comfortable cottage in a good area for wider exploration.

The home was clean, warm and modern throughout.

As a family of five and one dog, we wanted for nothing during our weeks stay. Highly reccomended.

!! The cottage was fantastic. Clean (even smelled fresh and clean when we walked in), very welcoming, warm and cosy, especially as we were there during the recent bad weather (40-50mph winds). Coming back and putting the log burner on at the end of the day was always something to look forward to. The cottage is very well equipped...we couldn't have asked for more. The Xmas decorations were a lovely touch, and made it even more special. The owners were extremely helpful; when we had questions they got back to us straight away. The one and only downside for us was the rear garden...didn't realise it was a hillside lawn and having an older arthritic dog he couldn't get up the steep steps to it. But fortunately he was able to use the front patio when he needed to go out. That's ok for our dog as he doesn't venture far so didn't go into the road, but maybe just something to mention in the advert. (Sorry if its there and I missed it). All in all it's a great base for exploring and we had a lovely stay. We would happily have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend it and would return.

Cottage very well equipped ,cosy and warm. The views were stunning. Lots of extra touches. The only small thing which has been mentioned before is that the mattress in the main bedroom very soft . A wonderful relaxing week away . We hope to visit again.

Wonderful cottage in a fantastic location, central to all that North Wales has to offer, coast-wise and for the National Park.

It was very homely with bags of space for just the two of us, and very well-equipped. The views from the front were stunning and the drive over to Beddgelert was gorgeous. There is also the unique picturesque site of Dorothea Quarry within walking distance (half mile) of the property. The local town was good for a supermarket, deli, fish and chips, chinese, pizza and indian so we could easily have gone all week without having to cook. The cottage is set back from the road with parking outside, and we could not have asked more of the cottage. We would definitely return to this cottage if we could get a booking, as there is so much to do in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

All very good, well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery.

Very good location for what what we wanted. Only comment is that the beds all had very soft mattresses, might just be personal preference but all 4 of us had the same comment.

A nice cottage and great holiday.

However, day 1 and the Wi-Fi went down. Despite the help from Vodaphone and the owner Chris, it didn't come on-line until Wednesday I think. My daughter spent probably an hour on the phone and of course had to use up her own data for several days. My wife couldn't use her I-pad either. As the property advertised full Wi-Fi we were very disappointed. Is there any chance of a small compensation? Thank you anyway for a restful holiday. Les Martindale

Our second visit to this comfortable, beautifully furnished, welcoming cottage.

Perfect for the mountains and the sea. Perfect for car and walking trips or just to sit and enjoy the mountainous landscape from the windows!! Everything we needed and more provided by the thoughtful owners.

What a fantastic holiday cottage ideally situated to travel around Snowdonia and North Wales.

A real home from home with everything you may need and so much space inside.... wonderful views from top of back garden ... sat cloud and sheep watching... but beware for anyone with young children as access and garden steep. Wonderful holiday

Beautiful cottage with beautiful views.

Immaculately clean with everything we could have needed. Decent location, although it's a bit of a trot to the mountain and surrounding attractions which is where we spent most of our time. If you're planning to split time between beach and mountains then this is perfect. The log fire was great after a cold day kayaking and the bath was lovely after climbing snowdon. The mattress could maybe have been a bit comfier but we'd have slept through anything after our busy days. The owner was great and replied instantly to our questions. Highly reccomended.

Everything at the cottage was like being in a well kept home.

Furnishings and furniture are all really lovely . Everything we needed and much more. The owner was so accommodating. Ensuring that all our needs had been met. Opening the bedroom curtains each morning to a mountain view was extra special too. We highly recommend 60 Hyfydle.

An excellent holiday cottage with everything you'd want catered for.

Very well presented, clean and tastefully decorated. We were there for a week during which we were battered by Storm Brendan. Most of the week we were out walking, coming back cold and wet, but it was always a pleasure to return to the welcoming warmth of this cottage. Ideally situated for Snowdon on one side and the fantastic beaches on the other side. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage well maintained everything you needed very homely lovely views of the mountains from the garden would recommend this cottage to anybody great for couples or families or ever a single person wanting a quiet retreat would go back again

It would be great if the back garden was going to be made accessible.

The rug underneath the dining room table was a bit impractical with children. The house was nicely decorated but there were a lot of breakable items all around that were too easy for young children to reach, and that we found a bit unsuitable with a baby/toddler (we had to move a lot of the decorative items out of reach of children). There were lots of books and DVDs and information on what to do around the cottage, which was really appreciated. The cottage was very clean and spacious. The views were wonderful.

It was lovely to explore the beautiful surroundings of Snowdonia accompanied by my partner & good friends.

To top it all off in the knowledge that everyone is staying in a wonderful well equipped & cosy cottage made our stay exceptional & an experience that we shall never forget!

The house and surroundings where beautiful it’s position was ideal to visit all the places of interests around north wales.

The well equipped kitchen made it a home from home all we had to do was unpack our clothes would highly recommend.

Very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. ( missed my dishwasher ) but a minor thing ! Beds comfy and log burner made for cosy evenings. The kitchen was very well equipped with high end items. Would definitely stay again.

Don’t be fooled by it being an end of terrace rather than detached in its own grounds as the view is lovely and it’s in a good location for travelling around.

The house is spacious, warm and very well equipped. The information provided in the folders is first class and it’s obvious that a lot of thought has gone into providing all that’s needed for visitors.

This cottage is fantastic, easily the best equipped we have ever stayed in.

Quality items throughout and the photos don’t do it justice. The outside photos are the actual views. Very well positioned for lots of activities. No issues parking on the road which is very quiet.

The view from the cottage was more spectacular than it appeared in the picture.

It was situated well for access to Snowdonia as well as the coast, Llyn peninsula or Anglesey to the north. Although we were rather unfortunate with the weather (remains of a hurricane that week!) we were grateful that the cottage was old and sturdy with thick walls. It was quite lavishly furnished and decorated, everything looked brand new, and there were many thoughtful extras such as a wealth of local information, maps etc, books DVDs and games. We did have trouble working out the controls on some of the equipment, but the owner was most approachable and helpful, even offering to come round if necessary.

The cottage is in the perfect location for exploring North Wales.

The village is set within the beautiful Nantlle Valley, well worth a drive through. As for the cottage itself, well that was lovely. Very clean with everything you could want, a true 'home from home' feel with lots to keep you occupied on the 'rainy' days...board games, books, DVDs, FreeSat TV and WiFi. Even though it's on the road parking, we managed to park right outside the cottage 6 days out of the 7. No actual amenities within Talysarn these days, but there are some near in Penygroes. As a family of 4 we would definitely recommend 60 Hyfrydle Road and hope to return again one day.

The cottage was beautiful.

Every little detail thought of and this made for a very enjoyable stay. This area of Wales is so pretty and we will definitely be back in the future.

The views from the front were amazing. It is a great base to tour the sites of North Wales. Just a little disappointed to find the local pub had closed down.
