Description

Delight in a lovely getaway in the picturesque village of Trearddur Bay on the western shores of Holy Island, staying in this spectacular reverse-level dwelling, Bay View.

Enjoying a fabulous mix of traditional and contemporary style, suitable for a group of eight looking to relish the seaside atmosphere of this remote settlement, begin a North Wales adventure in Trearddur Bay, close by to the town of Holyhead.

On warm dusky evenings, sit out on the raised terrace garden, where decking with seating offers a relaxed spot to unwind, before you head inside to the first-floor kitchen/diner to begin creating the evening meal.

Spread out in this sleek yet rustic space, with a bespoke wooden dining table to gather around with a glass of wine while dinner simmers on the gas hob, or perch at the breakfast bar to watch the culinary action.

Equipped with quality appliances behind the muted grey cupboards, and a stone effect backdrop, you have all you need for a self-catered stay, along with a handy washing machine too, perfect for washing sandy beach clothes.

Move into the spacious sitting room and unwind beneath the striking exposed beams holding up the apex ceiling, with fabulous decor continuing the coastal theme, sink into one of the two leather sofas or the soft bean bag and be warmed by the homely gas fire, or open up the balcony doors in warmer weather and catch glimpses of the sea.

Settle down in one of the ground-floor bedrooms when you're ready to get some rest, find a master double bedroom equipped with an en-suite shower room and a TV, another double bedroom with a feature wooden wall, and a bunk room holding two sets of bunk beds, making excellent use of the space to afford space for all.

Freshen up with a relaxing soak in the bath within the elegant bathroom, a perfect way to end another exciting day.

Head down to the beach to create some idyllic memories of clear waters and golden sands, book in a lesson with a local instructor for some paddle-boarding, try out kayaking or canoeing, or even windsurfing.

Nearby to 7 Traeth Atsain is the Porth-y-Post Riding Stables, providing a chance to enjoy the area via a horse trail, or enjoy a cross country lesson.

Tuck into a wood-fired pie in The Black Seal, a welcoming seaside eatery and pub, or pick up some ingredients for your own home-cooking from Trearddur Stores or SPAR.

Embark on a walk along the coast and head southward to Porth Diana Beach, or golfers can find fun at Holyhead Golf Club with an 18-hole course with far-reaching sea views.

Within easy reach of the town of Holyhead too where you can take boat trips along the coast or even over to Ireland for the day, there's so much to enjoy in this remote part of North Wales.

Discover a fabulous holiday destination in Trearddur Bay staying at Bay View.

Location was perfect, accomodation was clean, tasteful and very well thought out.

Good pressure on the shower, very comfy bed, all the requirements in the kitchen. We're definitely thinking of booking again next year.

Have stayed in this property a number of times and love it.

Always clean, with everything you need. Although don't understand why there is a washing machine that can't be used by guests? Great decking with wonderful views. Ideal position, close to beaches and local shops. Anglesey has plenty of things to do with some beautiful beaches.

This is a wonderful property in a great location, it’s detached but also lots of room round the house so feels really private.

When we arrived the plumber was mending the downstairs en-suite toilet flush, but sadly we had problems with it throughout the holiday. We booked this holiday well in advance so cant say for certain if a washing machine was advertised but we would have found one very helpful, it just had a sticker on it saying not in use. The kitchen was generally well fitted out but I did have to buy a big lasagna dish while there as the ones provided where not big enough for a family of 5. Another shower in the family bathroom would have been handy to stop the kids invading our space ! No welcome pack too which is a bit unusual as the kids enjoy that and the adults could have a cup of tea if milk was left. It’s a brilliant house let down slightly with a few little problems
