Judith “Fantastic holiday.”
Loved the quirky cottage!

Heidi “What can I say?”
We had an absolutely FANTASTIC week!! We we were a party of 6 friends (all ladies) who share the same interest - photography - and were out and about each day enjoying the delights that Anglesey has to offer; except on the Sunday when we had heavy rain all day. So we just relaxed and made a slap up Sunday roast in the cottage instead. All were extremely impressed with the layout, spaciousness and cleanliness of the property. Rock Cottage has literally everything you need and everything worked! The beams are low in the eaves I agree but there were plenty of warning signs so it wasn't a problem. The bathroom floor downstairs is a little bit slippery but there were plenty of bath mats available to compensate. Again not a problem. All in all a great week and a fabulous cottage to boot. One which I wouldn't hesitate in recommending. A perfect base for exploring this beautiful Welsh island.
- Heidi, September 2023Thank you very much for your positive comments. Glad you had a lovely time. Kind regards. Property Owner
Anne “The cottage is looking a bit tired and in need of some work.”
Only one function worked on the cooker, only the light worked on the cooker hoos but not the fan, the lights in the conservatory and outside garden lights did not work, which was a bit of a problem when we had a BBQ. Be aware that the floors in different rooms are at different levels and there are a lot of trip hazards. The upstairs bedfrooms are in the eaves with very low ceilings in paces, I managed to bang my head and I'm only 5ft 3in.

We were a party of 2 families and found the accommodation to be absolutely brilliant for our needs plenty of room for all Close to all amenities and exactly what we wanted we will be back for future holidays Highly recommended property don't hesitate folks book up and enjoy your stay

Elizabeth “You arrive at this cottage, 1st impressions, oh dear!”
!!!, open the front door, and its everything you need, it is lovely. Unfortunate about the weather, rained. Children loved the garden, when able to play in it. Gaming room a great hit. RECYCLING a little confusing to which bins are which outside and when to put them out for the cart. Overall this cottage is great.
- Elizabeth, August 2023Thank you for your comments. Glad the children enjoyed the garden and gaming room. Getting new recycling bins soon. Kind regards. Property Owner
David “The smell of the drains in the bathrooms /toilets was shocking, the conservatory is in a bad state and no lights working in it,,the floors are uneven, the stairs to the bedrooms are dangerous, the showers up stairs are to small to use,the patio at the rear of the house is not finished off, resulting in people tripping,it was disapointing.”
- David, August 2023In response to your review rules concerning the drains must be adhered to I.E no wet wipes or other materials which may cause a blockage in fact we had to hire a company to clear all blockages after you left which was indeed very expensive. the patio was not finished as the weather was bad just before the season started. Lights worked when we checked. But glad you were happy with our quick response in returning your headphones you left behind. Property Owner
Angela “Lovely and comfortable stay.”
We were a party of 8 and the accommodation did not disappoint. The cottage was fully equipped and very clean. Would definitely recommend and we will hopefully get to stay there again in the future.
- Angela, July 2023Thank you for your positive comments. Looking forward to your return. Kind regards. Property Owner
Susan “Extremely disappointed with the property !”
Interior is really dated and drab! In the lounge not enough seats for 10 people to sit comfortably and the wooden floor was uneven and in places was screwed down with nails on show .Oven wasn't working properly. The doorway between the kitchen and the "conservatory" leaked when it rained resulting in my 2 year old grand daughter slipping on the wet floor !the doors leading to the garden from the conservatory didn't fit or close properly so it was extremely cold and not secure as the wind came right through. Barbecue was just a pile of bricks so was no use whatsoever and the so called balconies (both of them) were rotted with missing wood so were not fit for purpose and unable to use. Also shower upstairs is no good for an adult as is far too small and toilet doesn't flush properly. If the property is rented out why weren't these issues fixed. Also before we left we cleaned up after ourselves and under one of the tables in the corner of the lounge we found an old KFC gravy carton dated Dec 2022 so obviously property hadn't been cleaned properly in 4 months ?? Would not recommend this property at all. Needs a complete overhaul !!
- Susan, April 2023Annette “Great property, a home from home atmosphere providing everything you need to have a great holiday”
- Annette, August 2022Vanessa “Very nice accommodation, well equipped and furnished, very clean.”
Would recommend this property. We had a lovely break
- Vanessa, June 2022Shelley “Our week at Rock Cottage was wonderful , thank you for making it so comfortable and well equipped.”
The house was great for large groups with many bathrooms and separate sections for privacy and peace as well as large areas for groups to eat and drink. We loved it and will certainly book again. The only recommendation would be a small portable radio for the kitchen/conservatory, otherwise - perfect .
- Shelley, May 2022Maggie “Fantastic location.”
Really well laid out. Lovely touches with children’s activities being left and the property decorated for Easter. Lots of towels and well stocked with essentials.
- Maggie, April 2022Elizabeth “Had a lovely week at Rock cottage, very spacious and comfortable, owners very helpful, well equipped.”
Would return, and would recommend, location ideal to explore this beautiful part of the UK. Supermarkets close by and 2 minute drive to beach. Only downside was the downstairs wet room floor is very very slippy when wet, we came with elderly parents with mobility problems and they used once and nearly slipped over so had a wash the rest of the week.. this didn’t distract from the lovely week we had and how great this house is and how well appointed it is .. thanks very much to the owners for making our week so enjoyable .. we will be back ..
- Elizabeth, September 2021Joanne “The cottage was spotless with lovely gardens.”
The facilities inside were excellent also, I would highly recommend this place to stay for a family holiday.
- Joanne, August 2021Annette “On suite shower not working.”
System continually noisy through the night and a bad smell of sewage in the room.Lack of information about the area e.g closest shops ,take aways.doctors and hospitals.Though there were signs in the bathroom regarding the very slippy floor I feel a large non slip mat would be of benefit
- Annette, August 2021Joanne “Cottage was amazing.”
We were two families, plenty of room for us all.cleanliness was ten out of ten. Couldn't fault anything.will definitely return and would definitely recommend.
- Joanne, June 2021Victoria “Cottage well equipped and clean and comfortable.”
Little extra touches by owner. Milk and bread plus other basics were much appreciated. Owner dealt problem with quickly over duvets as too thin . Great location and ample space for us all.
