Phil & Sue are excellent hosts always helpfull and friendly.

The site is of a nice size and very peacefull Lots a facilities there and many things in the local area to do. .. Weather was not our friend that week but had a good time all the same ... Will be back again....highly recomend the site

A lovely caravan in a wonderful location.

Sue and Phil are fantastic hosts and very friendly. Breakfast is available to order the night before and delivered to your door in the morning. The wifi is superb. There are wonderful beaches 8-20 minutes away and all the main shops within 30 minutes with a well stocked local shop at the garage 2 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will return next year. Thanks Sue and Phil you have a wonderful place .

Phil & Sue were perfect hosts.

Their caravan is perfectly sited to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Anglesey countryside. The full english breakfasts and cream teas were most enjoyable. There are quaint coves with sandy beaches to enjoy a short drive away. The cheapest petrol station/convenience store on the island is nearby on A5025 in Tregele. We would highly recommend this accommodation for a quiet restful holiday.

Gorphwysfa Caravan is lovely, has everything you need, really well equipped & a great base for exploring Anglesey & surrounding areas.

Owners Sue & Phil are lovely hosts & was great to meet them, the breakfast which you can purchase was a lovely add on too. The caravan also has wifi which was great. We would definitely stay again in the future. Thanks

The site and views are lovely and it was the first time we had taken our dog away so we were really pleased she was welcome to stay in the caravan. The only thing that was mentioned in the rules emailed from Sykes was not to leave anything with power on when not in the room and when we were out which we followed. However being away in February it's not exactly easy to heat a large space from scratch. When Phil came for a chat he absolutely gave us permission to leave the gas fire on low and let him know when the bottle needed changing. When that happened he was there in minutes and it was the cosiest of evenings. We have already thanked them and would love to visit again. Great time had

As a solo traveller with dogs,I felt very safe at Gorphwysfa and would happily book again.

The view of fields with sheep and chickens is so relaxing compared to city life. A shop is within walking distance and we loved the cafes in Cemaes, a short drive away. Thanks to the owners (and chicks) for our eggs.

We had a fantastic stay here as a family of 4 with a dog.

It was booked very last minute but we couldnt have wished for anything better. The caravan was perfect and well presented with everything we needed for a short break away. The enclosed outside area was percect for the dog too. The location is excellent too, allowing easy and quick access to anywhere on the island. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, offering help and advice whenever we needed it. Phil recommended a great local walk which we did and really enjoyed! We're already looking at dates to come back again next year!

A lovely little site, I felt very welcomed.

Away from the main road so it's nice and quiet. The van was very comfortable and best of all you can buy fresh eggs to take home.

Very comfortable homely caravan Cemaes bay 5 mins away people all very friendly sight is small not over grounded hosts very helpful a hidden gem already planning a trip back there in 2026.

I enjoyed a week here.

It was peaceful and quiet and easy to get to for exploring. Phil and Sue were lovely host and approachable. Big shout out to Phil for his breakfast. I plan to go back later in the year. Great escape

The double bed was very very squeaky, couldn't move without it squeaking.

It wasn't the mattress that was comfy, it was the frame of the bed. Apart from that, the caravan was clean and comfortable for it's age. Will definitely be booking again. Lovely owners !

Lovely, peaceful break. Fresh eggs from the chickens next to the caravan. Homemade bara brith, piccalilli and a cooked breakfast fresh and delivered to your door! This place is fantastic and it’s all down to the owners, Phil & Sue! They are lovely, warm, helpful and decent folk. Nothing is too much trouble! Hard working and great to have a chat to. Nothing to dislike … oh and the shower blocks are spotless!

I had a very enjoyable stay and Sue and Phil were very helpfull and went out of their way to make my stay there very good

An amazing little place with all we needed for a relaxing return visit with our two dogs.

Location is brilliant for anyone wanting to escape hustle and bustle. Phil and Sue work tirelessly to keep the place up to their personal high standards.... And they have the best freshly laid eggs I have eaten for many years.

The owners Phil and Sue made my niece and very welcome, it was lovely and quiet which is what we like.

The caravan is quite spacious more than enough room for us. The owners made us a cooked breakfast on our first morning,lovely. Just remember to order the day before. Kitchen is well equipped to be able to cater for ourselves, though we did end up eating out a fair bit--that's what holidays are all about. Thanks Phil and Sue for a fantastic week,hope to see you again soon.

A very relaxing break.. The caravan was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Phil and Sue were two lovely people, nothing too much trouble, and also cooked a lovely breakfast, which we also most certainly recommend. I'm sure it won't be too long before we return to this lovely place for another relaxing break. Our two dogs enjoyed it just as much as we did!

Lovely caravan on a very peaceful camping and caravan site.

We was very lucky with the weather the week we stayed as the week before it had been cold and wet. Only had to use the heater on our first evening there and it heated the caravan nicely. The only fault we found was the wi-fi was very poor, we could get on it but it didn’t do much. Luckily the 4g network was very good so we used that instead.

Quiet, clean accommodation in a gorgeous location with a well stocked shop and a playground within 10 minutes walk.

There is also a selection of beaches a short drive away in most directions. This is not the first time we have stayed at Gorphwysfa and it definitely won't be the last. Also very handy that you can order breakfast if you're having a lazy morning. Thanks for making our stay so relaxing.

Loved the caravan and its situation.

The view from the front window was lovely and the balcony great on a warm summer evening. Every item of equipment we needed was there and having a convenience store within a 5 minute walk was a real bonus. Being on a CL touring site was nice because it gave other folks around to provide conversation and share experiences. Big shout out for the proprietors who have worked so hard to make this a special place for anyone seeking a peaceful break.

The owners, Phil and Sue are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We bought a dozen of their fresh eggs collected from the chickens you can see from the caravan - no carbon footprint there! :-) and also had one of Sue's delicious breakfasts delivered to our door. Lovely caravan, gated veranda so my dog could go outside.

Owners offer a full cooked breakfast each morning for a reasonable price. I'm going to book another week later in the year.

Lovely little weekend away over new year, caravan had everything we needed, owners were lovely and there to welcome us and for anything we needed oh and Phil cooks a mean breakfast!

My pup and I had an amazing stay.

The caravan had everything needed with fabulous views across the countryside. Situated in a great location with access to lovely walks and close to lots of beaches. Phil and Sue, the owners, are lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Son and loco had an amazing holiday they definitely will be coming back ,could do with bigger heater for the colder months lol.

The caravan suited us perfectly. It had absolutely everything we needed and we couldn't have asked for more. Everything was spotlessly clean. The view from the decking was lovely. I would love to return in the spring/summer.

Had a fantastic week in September the weather helped it was incredible.

Caravan has everything you need is comfortable and clean. Highly recommend, I’ve booked to return in June next year on my own as I felt so safe. Hosts are always happy to help ordered a Bara Brith very tasty and the free range eggs are delicious! See you next year Thank you for the fabulous memories

Perfect stay with amazing hosts.

Couldn't have asked for a nicer caravan in a more picturesque location. Hosts were really friendly and accommodating. Close to several beaches and a playground around the corner as well as having a very well stocked shop 2 minutes away. Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely week in Gorphwysfa Caravan.

Phil and Sue were there with a warm welcome on our arrival. The caravan was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The surrounding area was great for walking our Springer Spaniel and for exploring Angelsey. A great week and highly recommended.

Great caravan in a lovely and secure setting, especially if you have your four legged friend with you.

Phil and Sue are very welcoming and great hosts. When you stay, sample their free range eggs, home made chutney, jams and pickled eggs. Thank you to Phil and Sue for our great break, Phil, Kathryn and Slate.

We had a lovely 4 day break with our 2 dogs the owners made us very welcome The caravan is very clean and comfortable The area has lots of places for dog walking Hopefully we will return one day

Lovely caravan.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They lent us an extension lead so we could use our fire stick. Nothing was too much trouble. The reason I have not given maximum score for cleanliness was because there were some long hairs left on the bedroom carpet. The kitchen was well equipped. Only thing it needs is a colander and egg cups. Nothing major. Lovely countryside and fresh eggs. We will be back.
