Combining the tradition of its former life as a chapel and contemporary style in its delightful decor, Capel Hermon is the perfect property for those seeking a tranquil base on the Isle of Anglesey.

Perfectly suited to a family or group of friends, the open-plan layout of the cottage is ideal for gathering together to enjoy each other's company.

The traditional chapel door will take you into the entry hall where you see the original interior doors, frosted glass and brass handles indicate the weight of the doors which keep the cottage nice and cosy. Step down into the living area, the relaxing, neutral decor complements the rest of the cottage. The friendly, welcoming feel of Capel Hermon encourages you to chill out and relax. Let some light hearted television play in the background as you make plans for the rest of your trip.

Carry your conversation to the elegant dining table, where you can discuss your plans with a rewarding beverage in hand as your dinner simmers on the wonderful electric range. Later on during your break you can indulge in board games.

The spacious kitchen has ample equipment for you to cook up a storm, should you so wish or simply relax at the breakfast bar with a good book in hand and some accompanying snacks for a tranquil evening indoors.

As the evening draws to a close, retreat up the stairs to discover three charming bedrooms beneath traditional sloping ceilings and skylights; choose from the master bedroom with king-sized bed and private en-suite shower room. A further double and a twin room, which have the shared use of a wonderful bathroom with roll-top bath, a marvelous layout for family or friends. There is an additional downstairs shower-room discreetly tucked away under the stairs too.

The cottage is enfolded by lawns to the front and side, so you can enjoy a fresh breeze in the summer months whilst relaxing with your morning coffee before your day of adventure.

The local village of Llanynghenedl is a quiet hamlet, just down the road from Valley, where you will find an extensive spar shop suitable for any last-minute needs and a wonderful fish and chip shop at Enoch’s, there are other options for indulging in for an evening out too.

Choose to explore the nearby Holy Island, rich in history and with Holyhead offering daytrips to Ireland from its port, it's a true marvel.

With easy access to mainland Wales via the Menai Bridge too, Capel Hermon is a wondrous base for you and your loved ones to explore this scenic region.

Dear Sean and Caroline, Thank you so much for letting us stay at Capel Hermon.

We had a wonderful week and loved every minute. The house was cosy warm, comfortable, beautifully looked after and a lovely place to relax. Capel Hermon was the perfect location near Holyhead, Valley, Trearddur bay & Sandy beach and our favourite Church bay. Plus the "Crown" nearby is a fantastic pub and restaurant! The open living area is perfect for relaxing with family and friends. Thank you for making us feel so welcome as well as quickly responding to our messages. We'd love to return in the future. With warm thanks, diolch yn fawr, Lisa,Julian, family & Bex

We had a lovely week in Capel Hermon.

The property was really well equipped with a high standard of cleanliness and had everything you could possibly need for a really comfortable stay. There is some noise from the road overnight, but nothing significant. The cottage is well placed for travel round the island - a short drive from the coast and from the larger shops at Holyhead. The Chapel organ is a lovely feature! The owners kept in touch to ensure we had everything we needed, which was much appreciated.
