Cefn Nannau

The cottage had all we needed for a great family holiday week.

Everything was thought of in terms of facilities, activities, utensils, appliances etc. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and tidy. The hot tub was a treat and the kids loved the fusbol table and darts. The views are superb and you are not far from lots of Welsh adventures

We are a group of 30-40yo women and we had the best time staying at the house.

The spaces suited our group perfectly and everything had been thought of. Everything is clean, well maintained and there were lots of bathrooms! So many nice touches, lovely decor. The hot tub and outside area was brilliant, and so was the kitchen - it's perfectly set up to do a lot of cooking too. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Cefn Nannau and would highly recommend it.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of North Wales with beautiful surroundings and a fantastic view from the hot tub. The house itself is beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was especially well stocked, which made cooking and relaxing at the house really easy. A big thank you as well to Eleanor and Iwan, who were brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome throughout. We’d happily stay again!

We had a wonderful stay here with 8 children ages 4-17 and we all loved it!

Was so homely and spacious. The owners were so lovely and even let the children go and see their animals on their farm just behind the house. A great weekend and would highly recommend this accommodation! We will definitely be going back

We had a fabulous weekend with friends at this lovely, homely property.

Eleanor our host was extremely helpful - great communication and had left lots of goodies and basics for us which was lovely! The house was really well equipped, we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this property!

We have loved our stay, the house was perfect, the hosts were very supportive if we needed them and we would highly recommend

What a beautiful house and wonderful owners!

Our stay was beyond expectations. Very comfortable, beautifully furnished accommodation with a very inviting real log fire in one of the lounges. Deciding to cater away from home for 10 family members, including our son and family from usa, especially at Xmas, could’ve been a trial. The kitchen was fitted out with every conceivable equipment / utensils required , and the enormous oak table was perfect for our turkey dinner. The Xmas tree and decorations were perfect an added to its charm. Add to this a well appointed large hot tub complete with towels made the grandchildren very happy. I would love to return in warmer months to be able to take advantage of the outdoor seating etc. the location is also well placed for visiting snowdonia and the surrounding areas. All in all, a perfect home from home in a beautiful setting and Iwan and Eleanor are perfect hosts . I can’t praise this house enough.

We booked the cottage for eleven of us,and it was perfect.

The cottage is beautiful decorated with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was lovely and a great hit with our party. The location of the cottage is great quiet with beautiful views but within driving distance of all of lots of activities. I would love to visit again in the future.

Fantastic property just as advertised.

Had a lovely time as a group of three families. Well fitted out and comfortable.

Fantastic property, with everything provided to a very high standard.

Host very friendly and accomodating, we will definitely be back

13 of us stayed here a few weeks ago to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary.

10 adults and 3 smaller people. The location is brilliant, the property is beautiful, the cleanliness is 10/10. Eleanor couldn't have been more helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

A lovely property which was very clean and well maintained, we were returning guests.

The owner was very helpful.

Just returned from a lovely weekend break with my family.

There were 9 of us in our party and plenty of space for everyone. The owner was delightful and always on hand if we needed anything. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Really comfortable beds and we all slept well. Everything we needed in a well stocked kitchen. I would definitely recommend this amazing house in a beautiful location

Excellent house that all the family enjoyed.

Well equipped and thought-out.

We had the most wonderful week here at Cefn Nannau.

The house is beautiful and honestly the best equipped holiday cottage we've ever had! There was plenty of space to spread out when we wanted and the gorgeous kitchen table was perfect for sitting together, enjoying home cooked meals. The hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and our dog loved running around in the secure garden. Having sheep next door was lovely, they are so funny to watch. I can absolutely see why this cottage has won awards, it was amazing! All communication was easy and efficient, Eleanor and her husband were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you for the best week at your gorgeous house, it truly felt like a home away from home.

We loved this property, very comfortable & clean, plenty of room for 12 of us & great facilities, nothing has been missed, everything has been well thought out, definitely a home from home.

Great countryside views.

We had a lovely stay at Cefn Nannau.

House was a lovely mix of traditional cottage with modern elements, beds were comfortable, ample bathrooms for a large party and so much to do - with hot tub, games and activities provided as part of the stay. Surrounding landscape was stunning, and garden/outdoor area was perfect for the sunny afternoons we enjoyed while there, with BBQ and equipment provided for al fresco dining. Communication from the host, Eleanor, was fantastic throughout, and she very kindly offered a late check-out on the Sunday which meant we could relax a bit more on our final day. Would definitely recommend staying at Cefn Nannau.

Superb property, beautiful location, great views.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and gave us loads of information before we arrived and whilst there everything is clear and concise. We regularly have these weekends away to indulge in good food, wine and board games and we would rate this at the top of the places we have been. Wonderful.

Quite possibly the best cottage we've ever rented!

Spotlessly clean, very well equipped with good quality furniture, utensils and everything really. I'm sure we will be back.

A stunning property, beautiful cared for with everything we could have needed.

It felt so welcoming and homely but with great interior style. We loved the well equipped kitchen, the hot tub and the comfy luxurious beds!

"Cefn Nannau was a delightful sky cottage experience!

The accommodation was impeccably clean, offering a warm and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Its convenient location near popular walking paths makes it perfect for outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the area. While the internet connection might not be the strongest, it didn't detract from our wonderful stay - in fact, it helped us disconnect and fully immerse ourselves in the peaceful surroundings. Would highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a clean, comfortable retreat with easy access to beautiful walks."

Lovely house with great facilities!

And very welcoming host

Excellent communication, lovely little touches, immaculate cottage, even better than in the pictures, comfortable beds.

Would recommend and will be back!

This is a beautiful property!

We stayed with our large family group (sons, daughter in law’s, grandchildren and dogs) its was perfect, it had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The views from the hot tub are beautiful. The garden is enclosed so we felt relaxed with the children and dogs outside. We would recommend this property to all our friends and family.

We all had a wonderful time .

And would truly recommend this to anyone looking for a break away with the family. Hot tub was fantastic. Grounds were brilliant for the 2 dogs to run round and the children to play. We felt very welcome on arrival when we had some lovely treats left for us . Will definitely be returning. Thank you so much

The house was excellent very well equipped a must stay

Absolutely fantastic place to stay!

Nothing short of perfect! So well equipped there’s anything you could ever need. We really enjoyied out stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Cefn Nannau!

We were greeted to a perfectly clean and well equipped house along with some homemade cake which was a lovely touch. The house was ideal for our family group of 8 adults and 2 children with everyone having their own bedroom and en-suite/bathroom. Everything was spotless and the beds were really comfy, everyone commented on the great nights sleep we all had. Everything had been thought of even down to stair gates, a high chair and travel cot for our youngest. Outside, the views were incredible and were amazing to wake up to. The hot tub was also an excellent touch and was enjoyed after a long day out walking. We couldn't fault Cefn Nannau and we'd be back in a heartbeat!

We had one of our best stays at Cefn Nannau.

No stone was left unturned. Perfect in every way. Beautiful location with lots of places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic property for our 3 generation family get together, all had a brilliant time and the hot tub was well used by all.

The view from the property and whilst enjoying the hot tub are breathtaking Only slight problem was the 2 twin bedrooms on the top floor, which the four children had, didn't have a toilet or bathroom. Not a problem for the oldest but not ideal for the youngest who regularly was up in the night. The owners have absolutely thought of everything you could possibly need and provide it . Would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic stay at Cefn Nannau.

We genuinely cannot fault the property. The owners have thought of every single detail. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon!

Fantastic holiday home, really lovely old and cosy with modern and contemporary feel.

Equipped with everything you could need. Beautiful rural surroundings of hills and farmland countryside. Great for a family gathering with 2 lounges, large kitchen, utility/games room with table football and garden. Great to explore the east (Betws y coed, Llangollen, aquaduct), south (Bala, Treweryn/Capel Celyn, King Arthur's labyrinth), west (Snowdon, Llyn peninsula, Portmeirion, cave trampolining, Bedgellert, Harlech), north (Penrhyn zip wires, Llandudno, Anglesey). Lovely helpful owners who live a few miles away and very useful and tasty welcoming treats on arrival of cake, coffee, wine, bread, butter, milk etc on arrival. We all had a really lovely and memorable holiday at Cefn Nannau.

The house was immaculate and was lacking nothing.

Have stayed a few places where small things like enough tea towels or wooden spoons were missing. Cefn Nannau was missing nothing and I’m sure if we’d asked Eleanor it would have been provided. Wonderful place.

This property was amazing, and the owners made us feel so welcome.

really great stay, beautiful location and lovely house

We had an amazing family holiday here Everything we needed and more!

Will 100% be back in the future.

We had a wonderful week.

It's in a great location to get about. The farmhouse is so well equipped, everything you need and more! We particularly loved the kitchen and bedrooms, as most have en-suites and most importantly.. no bunk-beds and no compromises! Everyone had their own proper bed with space around. The outdoor space is huge and safe for children and dogs. Perfect.

Absolutely amazing property.

Pictures do not give it justice. Never stayed anywhere so well equipped. The owners thought of everything. 12 Adults stayed here comfortably and was so lucky to have a weekend of sunshine to sit in the garden and take in the views. Only a couple of suggestions to change would be to perhaps provided parasols for the garden and summer duvets as the bedrooms did get very hot. Overall a fantastic place with excellent communications with the owner.

Beautiful house with amazing views.

. so well equipped and maintained.. Perfect place to host my wife’s surprise 40th birthday with friends. Thanks Andy

We have never stayed in a venue/accommodation where the host ad thought of literally everything we would need, you had thought of everything.

The house was beautiful and our group/family had an amazing time due to the location, house and your hospitality. Thank you so much, we had already Recommended you to our wider family and friends.

We had an amazing stay at Cefn Nannau.

The house was extremely clean, prepared with everything we needed and the hosts were very welcoming. It was a lovely, cosy base for all our adventures in North Wales and provided ample space for 12 of us and our dogs too. We loved the added extras of the hot tub, log burner and sweet treats left for us by Eleanor. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful home to anyone.

Beautiful house in perfect location, everything we needed for our family of 12 plus 2 dogs celebrating my 50th birthday.

Bedrooms warm and beds comfy, en suites and bathroom spacious, well equipped kitchen with 2x fridge freezers and ovens useful for self catering, plenty of cooking utensils and pots/pans. Two lounges, we had one as the noisy one and one as the quiet one, comfy and well equipped with cushions and throws, wood fire and electric fire to keep us warm as weather was varied from sunshine, showers, hail and sleet! Ganes room/utility, very useful, garden great for the dogs, safe and plenty of room for them to run around. Hot tub lovely with a picturesque view of the valley, we went in every morning before breakfast. Great walks and bike rides direct from cottage or a few miles in the car to other popular walking, mtb trails, reservoirs, waterfalls etc. Loved watching the new baby lambs skipping about. Great communication with the owners. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing property.

The owner is extremely friendly, you can tell she has a real passion for this property/business and even baked us a cake ! We had a fantastic time and wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

An amazingly well equipped cottage, with everything you need and more.

It was just like being at home except big enough to have 11 adults and 2 dogs! Thank you to Eleanor and her team for providing a very special place to celebrate a very special birthday. I would highly recommend the cottage.

Superbly presented property, with every facility or item you could need.

Completed to an exceptionally high standard and tastefully decorated. Perfect for our group of 9

Fabulous accommodation, with friendly, helpful owners.

beautiful countryside, hot tub and garden lights were magical. The owners had thought of everything when it came to kitchen equipment and the kitchen table was great for the 11 of us. Struggled to sleep first night but after investigation realised one of us had let the main bathroom fan on! So quickly resolved following night. Would definitely recommend to others.

We were all delighted with our stay we could not fault this property at all!

The owners were so lovely, friendly approachable and caring and we will definitely book again. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was amazing and had everything we could wish for. It was spotless! Great comfortable beds and lots of space. Thank you so much. You will not be disappointed. From suzanne and family.

Really enjoyed our stay at Cefn Nannau and couldn't fault a thing, it was exactly as described.

The facilities were excellent and the games room was a hit with the kids. There was plenty of space for 3 families (8 adults and 3 children), we would definitely recommend it.

A wonderful cottage, with wonderful hosts, we had a amazing time, lots to do and see near by, would go back with a group or family again .

Wow!

Absolutely stunning property, very comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. We will be back

We have just returned from an amazing long weekend at Cefn Nannau!

Elenor and Iwan were so attentive and couldn't do enough for us, they really made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The house itself is stunning, spotlessly clean and had everything you need including two big fridge freezers, washing machine, dryer and lots of space for the 11 of us. We were so lucky to stay throughout a heatwave so got to enjoy the bbq, outdoor area and hot tub (which again was really clean and checked/maintained daily by Iwan). We found the location to be perfect as we were only 20-25 minutes drive from Bala and Betws-y-Coed so we were able to have a couple of really nice days out. We all left thinking about when we can return again!

What an amazing stay from start to finish.

Lovely time spent with family, the house and setting is stunning. Immaculate, beds so comfy, everything about the star was 5star. Can’t wait to come back x x x

The Perfect Getaway Party of nine and the dog arrived at the requested time and were greeted by the owner Eleanor who was just finishing off the final touches of cleaning.

The house was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were fantastic the majority with their own en suite. We were soon unpacked and in the hot tub, which was spotless and inviting. The views from the hot tub overlooking the local country side , just added to the experience . The garden was a lovely place to stay at any time of the day and had the sun on it all day. The garden was secure so the dig could run free without any concerns. Whilst there we played boule, cricket and frisbee in the garden and despite losing several tennis balls everything else remained in the confines of the garden. We bbq’d most days. We took supplies with us such as charcoal , instant light bags, bbq utensils and gas lighter but must if it was provided at the house. However we knew we would be using more than would be supplied so came prepared. The property is located next to a working farm where cattle are reared but this seldom bothered us or the dog. We purchased steak and beef burgers from Eleanor and they were fabulous , well worth getting some for the bbq.if staying. Both lounges are comfortable with modern televisions. The wi fi was a little hit and Miss and tended to drain mobile phones outside as they were constantly trying to connect. We tended just to use our mobile data outside. We were fortunate enough to have sunny weather 21 degrees most days of the week. We did venture out for local walks but it was so relaxing at the house we tended to stay there. We have been on a number of Sykes holiday and this was our favourite and will definitely be returning in the future. Ash

Had a brilliant time, house was absolutely perfect!

Cefn Nannau is an excellent retreat with fabulous views over farmland.

The house has everything we needed for a perfect relaxing holiday.

Loved it, home from home :) definitely will be returning

What a lovely comfy, cozy, quirky cottage!

We loved it! The photos don’t do it justice it’s amazing! And the owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. The garden is secure for dogs which was great and the views are fabulous!

We have had an amazing time at Cefn Nannau.

Eleanor was amazing and made sure that the snow driven road track up to the house was flat enough so we could make it up to the house. We spent a day snowed in just relaxing and building a snowman together. The house is beautiful and clean. There is everything you can think of here already and the little details make everything even more perfect. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and eating family meals every night. We can’t wait to come back xx

Great property in a beautiful part of Wales.

The property pales in comparison though to the wonderful service we received from the owners. Nothing was too much for them and they really made our stay.

Such a beautiful home in a lovely location.

11 of us stayed for a weekend to celebrate a birthday and we are so glad we chose Cefn Nannau. Beds were so comfy, house was spotless and there was more than enough space for everyone. Hot tub was incredible as well, we all got to enjoy that at some point over the weekend. The owners of Cefn Nannau, Eleanor and her husband, were a pleasure to communicate with. We had two little dogs with us and they made it a priority that the garden and around the house were all fenced in for the dogs to have their freedom. A lovely bonus which we weren’t aware of is that the house is on a farm so there is cows and sheep surrounding which we all loved as animal lovers. Eleanor’s husband was more than happy to stop and chat to us about the animals and answer all the questions we had. We all highly recommend Cefn Nannau for a great break away and can’t wait to return!

The cottage was a perfect location to celebrate my birthday with my loved ones.

Beautiful location (the snow helped add to the picturesque views). The beds were so comfy and the house was spotless! We were welcomed with milk, bread, coffee, tea and some lovely treats which was lovely! The owners were so approachable, kind and helpful. I'm so glad we chose this house to spend the weekend in. We loved it so much the children cried when we left!! Thank you so much!

Beautiful house in beautiful Wales.

Eleanor and Iwan couldn’t have made our stay any better. Great communication easy check in and check out. Promptly replied to any messages all round lovely hosts. House is immaculate everything you need at hand with lovely surroundings and the bonus of a hot tub. They truly did think of everything so don’t panic if you forgot some essentials they most likely provide it. Petrol Garage and supermarket near by beautiful villages and a short drive to snowdonia. Would highly recommend a holiday to wales staying in this Bea farm house. Thank you so much for everything.

We arrived to a very welcoming home.

Eleanor was great in keeping in touch to help us enjoy our stay and some lovely mince pies to arrive to! The cottage was exceptionally well equipped - home from home. The bedrooms were hotel standard with their own individual touch. Spotlessly clean. Hot tub was enjoyed by all and was kept well chlorinated. It was -13.5 degrees and snowing but the owners really looked after us and very attentive to any queries and generally very generous and so keen to ensure we had a good stay. One of our son's partners broke down on the morning packing up and Euan even came to jump start her! Some great walks from the cottage even in the snow! Spacious house for all our 4 sons and partners and grand-daughter and Jess the dog! We would stay again.

Excellent facilities thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

Beautiful well equipped house & spotlessly clean.

As a family (9 adults & a 5 year old) we holiday in Wales during the autumn every year. This house is the most amazing out of all that we’ve stayed in. Owners are lovely & friendly. We would all highly recommend here ❤️

We had an amazing time at Cefn Nannau.

Such a lovely house and so beautiful views all around. We stayed 4 nights for our little ,secret wedding celebration ❤️ we would love to come back for another family holiday

We had a lovely stay here.

Eleanor & Iwwn were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would not hesitate to recommend . Thank you!

We all really enjoyed our stay at the property.

Great views and a great space for a large group including young children and a dog. The hot tub was definitely a bonus and the owners were really friendly and helpful but very unobtrusive too a great combination. A lovely location too with Harleach beach and castle within reach and we had a great day if watersport at Lake too. We'll definitely be back.

Great central location to visit the main attractions in north wales.

Cottage was well equipped and comfortable.

Everything was as advertised and we were delighted with the house.

As previous Gite owners we really appreciated the thought and professionalism that had gone into making Cefn Nannau what it is, We met Eleanor and Iwan who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Exceptionally good hosts.

We had a fabulous week at Cefn Nannau.

As other reviewers have mentioned the house is beautifully decorated with some wonderful touches/accessories which look to be locally sourced. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Eleanor and Iwan were so helpful and the homemade cakes on arrival (the week away was in aid of a family birthday) were truly delicious. We also purchased steaks/burgers which again were amazing and very well priced. Would definitely recommend.

Very peaceful

Absolutely fantastic!

The house was even more gorgeous than in the photos. Views were stunning and the house so well-equipped. The owners were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The only possible suggestion would be a fire pit for the bbq area but other than that l, there was everything you could want or need. Highly recommend!

The property is absolutely lovely with stunning views all the way round it.

Group of 10 of us went plus a dog. Plenty of room for all of us. Hot tub was lovely , cleaned every day. Floorboards are little squeaky but no issue really. Ceiling are low but it’s the character of the building. I highly recommend this property for sure.

This property is a total Gem.

It’s absolutely brilliant and the pictures don’t do it justice. We had 8 adults, 2 babies and 2 dogs with us on our stay, the rooms were perfect and spacious and the garden is super dog friendly. The location is breathtaking. Eleanor couldn’t do enough for you, so clean and tidy. Would 100% recommend. Thank you again for a fantastic stay.

Great property in a lovely location, fully equipped and everything thought of.

Owner very helpful and accommodating. Thank you.

We had a fantastic weekend at this property.

The home was modern yet cosy! All bedrooms were comfortable and clean and provided us with individual towels. The living space (kitchen and living rooms) were spacious and perfect for a large party staying. The Kitchen was very well equipped and provided us with absolutely everything we could need. The hot tub was perfect for us, it was a great place to sit and relax and take in the gorgeous views. The owner of this property was lovely, very helpful and kind to us. She went out of her way to check everything was ok. We will hope to definitely return here in the future Thank you for such a lovely weekend :)

This cottage exceeded all expectations.

The pictures for this listing are amazing but the cottage itself is 10x better than we could have imagined. The interior is like something out of a 5* hotel - I would love Eleanor and Iwan to come and decorate my own house! The house is set in gorgeous, peaceful surroundings. We were blessed with amazing weather, which made it even more serene. The location is perfect - 20 minutes away from Bala and Betwsy-y-Coed, and 50 minutes away from Portmeirion. We visited all of these places and the drive there was even gorgeous - no motorways, just country roads and amazing views. I would recommend the white water rafting in Bala and zip world coaster in Betwsy-y-Coed for the adrenaline junkies (best to book in advance if you are visiting on the weekend). Portmeirion (£15 per adult for entry) and the Swallow Fails trail for those who want something a bit more laid back. The cooking facilities, and amenities in this property are incredible. From the high-tech coffee machine, to the Foosball table and the big 12 person table in the kitchen.. we couldn't have wanted for anything more! Thank you for being such amazing hosts, and for giving me and my family a trip to remember. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cosy cottage.

From night one we felt at home. We drove away looking forward to booking again for next year. Usually we leave a holiday thinking ‘we will try somewhere new next time’ but with Cefn nannau we just found it perfect. Gorgeous walks and scenery nearby.

The cottage was a little difficult to find but once there is was fantastic and really well stocked for cooking and comfort.

Immediate help when needed

Lovely house and great owners.

This house was perfect for us-cosy, homely and well equipped.

The interior design is very stylish. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was appreciated by a number of the party. We would love to come back one day. The owners could not have been more helpful and did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you!

The house was spotlessly clean and it had everything we needed.

We loved the extra personalised touches such as the cocktail recipes! Great location with beautiful views. We would love to return next year!

Excellent location with Cefnnannau central to this and providing accommodation of the highest standard.

Wedi mwynhau,Diolch

The location was perfect.

Good directions to get there, very private and plenty of parking with a large secure garden. The owners Eleanor and Iwan could not do more to make sure we had everything we needed for a family holiday. We had all age ranges from a 7 week old baby to 84 year old grandma. The hot tub was wonderful and kept very clean and maintained as was the whole house. So much thought has been put in to the home with high quality fixtures and fittings throughout. The 3 new Valais Blacknose sheep in the Orchard were a delight to observe and got much attention from our toddler! Members of our group climbed mountains, white water rated, surfed Snowdonia, visited Portmerion along with many other activities. Just a great holiday! Thank you

Cefn Nannau is a fantastic property with the most lovely hosts in Eleanor and Iwan.

We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our immediate family. How lovely it was to enjoy a celebratory breakfast with everyone around the the huge kitchen table on the morning of our anniversary. The bedrooms are all large and everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. The garden is huge space with a very large seating area (south facing) and of course the hot tub. Although the photographs on the Sykes website are lovely, you have to experience the property to fully appreciate it. The location is perfect for access to the Snowdonia National Park. We absolutely loved our time at Cefn Nannau.

As a tall family (kids are 6’ and above) it would have been great to know that the ceilings and stairways are very restricted in height and both twin rooms have very limited headroom.

That’s the only reason I dropped 1 star for comfort. The facilities are all great, we really enjoyed the hot tub and football table. The hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. They took time to visit and check we were ok during our stay and gave us a warm welcome.

Cefn Nannau house, its location and surroundings are absolutely stunning.

We had a wonderful big family (11 people) stay here and it was suitable for all ages ranging from grandparents to toddlers. The views from the garden and especially the hot tub are second to none and you will never get bored of looking at them. The cottage itself is a great mixture of old farm house with modern touches. Everything you could possibly need is catered for. The rooms are lovely and spacious, all with good size en-suites and beautiful views. The house is immaculate. The youngsters enjoyed the football table in the utility room. The owners have really thought of everything and make sure your stay is so comfortable and relaxing. Eleanor would visit daily to test the hot tub (to ensure it always stays clean) but this is done in a non intrusive way. You could ask Eleanor or Iwan anything and we were given lots of advice for places to visit in this gorgeous part of North Wales, I recommend you ask about the Luing Beef products from their farm very reasonably priced and very delicious. There is a small shop 1.8 miles away which isn’t really walkable due to farmland and the main road. Bala Lake is a must visit as is Betws-y-Coed. We also took a trip to Harlech beach which was beautiful as the weather was so hot! There is a hairdryer in all the rooms, towels, separate hot tub towels downstairs and a washing machine and tumble dryer and a barista style coffee machine & bean grinder for the coffee lover’s. There are two big fridge freezers and 3 bedrooms with en-suites, a big family bathroom and a downstairs shower room. It is next to one of their farms but this only adds to a countryside holiday. This was not noisy at all and they were always conscious of keeping noise down. The owners live in another village a short distance away.

Scenic location, well equipped and lovely comfortable house.

We booked for a birthday weekend, 4 generations of our family ranging from Grandma to 4 month old Eleena, 8 adults and 4 children.

The house is amazing and has everything you need. It has beautiful furniture and decor, all done to a high standard with comfort in mind. The huge kitchen table became our favourite place where we all gathered to eat together and interact. The beds are so comfortable and I slept like a baby. The hot tub was also a favourite. The house is quite rural and peaceful. The hosts Eleanor and iwan were very helpful but not intrusive, we got lost and iwan came to our rescue to guide us to the house. We visited Conwy castle and Llandudno pier which grandma thoroughly enjoyed. Would highly recommend this place and have nothing negative to say. Thank you to Eleanor and iwan

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Ewan and Eleanor couldn’t do enough for us. The house is amazing and we will definitely be back.

We would highly recommend cefn nannau and will definately return for another holiday there.

The cottage was beautiful and exceptionally clean the owners had thought of everything. Every room had there own style. The views were stunning and if you wanted to venture out then there were plenty of places not to far away. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would lastly just like to thank Eleanor and iwan for our lovely holiday and making sure we were ok at all times.

A relaxing 7 days in a stunning house in an equally stunning location.

The house is spotlessly clean, has everything you need and more, great communication with the vendors both before and after our stay. Both Iwan and Eleanor are fabulous hosts (without being intrusive) with the comfort of your stay their utmost priority, and you really shouldn’t pass on the opportunity to sample their Welsh Luing Beef - it’s absolutely delicious and great on the BBQ! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this accommodation to others and should we visit Wales again I would most definitely make my first enquiry here.

Iwan and Eleanor, were close by if we needed them but never intruded The property is Newley set up for holiday lettings and they have done an amazing job Top quality fixtures and fittings, down to beautiful cotton bedding, comfortable beds and pillows The kitchen is beautiful farmhouse style were we spent most evenings playing games All the attractions and beeches are around 50mins away but this didn’t bother us as we loved the rural location Fantastic garden for children along with Hot tub Couldn’t recommend the property enough

We spent a wonderful week at Cefn Nannau as a party of 7 plus our dog.

The house was absolutely beautiful, with a stylish, but comfortable interior and very well appointed. The owners have clearly put a great deal of thought and care into both the decor and the facilities and we found that we had everything we needed for a brilliant family holiday. The outside space was great, with a hot tub perfectly positioned to sit back and enjoy uninterrupted views. We had a young dog with us, so having the garden safely enclosed meant that we could relax knowing that he was safe. There is ample parking and plenty of lawn space to play or relax, as well as further outside seating by the built in bbq to enjoy evening meals or a drink in the sunshine. Snowdonia is one of our favourite places in the UK and Cefn Nannau proved a perfect base from which to explore its many attractions. I have no doubt we will be back. Huge thanks to the owners, Eleanor and Iwan, for ensuring we had such a terrific stay!
