Tyn Llwyn Barn

This is such an amazing holiday barn in a beautiful area of North Wales.

The view from the picture window in the upstairs sittingroom is even better than the photo on the listing. The barn had everything we needed for our stay and the level of cleanliness was of a high standard. The owner, Bethan was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back again. A*

The pictures do not do the views justice - it really is a very special place. The house itself was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and beautifully finished! Bethan was brilliant and although we didn’t have any issues I have every confidence if there was anything she would have sorted it immediately. We’d love to come back again!

The views are to die for. Clean and tidy with everything you may need, including a private hot tub. Near to a small supermarket at Llangollen for your stocks and good local pubs with plenty of variety on the menu. We dined out most nights with no complaints. Thanks Keith & Lynn

The best break for NYE and we were even suprised with snow!

The best self catering place we have ever stayed. It has everything you will need, bar food which you can easily do on the way as there is an aldi & home bargain 8 minutes away. I have always been apprehensive about dog friendly as they are never as clean as the non dog are, however this was spotless and made us feel so at ease relaxing here. Bethan & Huw ensured the road down was gritted for us to get out safely as the minus temp & snow/ice came on rather suddenly. We loved it here and was exactly what we needed as a family of 5. We will definitely be back.

What a fabulous property!

After a tough year personally, we needed some peace and quiet and somewhere to recharge our batteries and Tyn LLwyn Barn delivered on all fronts. Bethan was lovely and made sure that we were catered for in every way. The barn conversion is stunning, everything you need for a week away from it all. The views from the lounge are beautiful and today, we are looking to book for next year already!!

Our stay in the barn was amazing!

To call it a barn does not do it justice. It has been converted to a very high standard and the views are divine. The upstairs lounge is hard to leave. The hot tub is checked daily which I have never seen before and once it are in it you have the amazing views. The owner Bridget is an excellent host and martins a 5 star cottage. We shall return!

We have stayed many times in North Wales in many different properties but Tyn Llwyn Barn stands out above the rest - it's incredible.

It was well equipped and in the most perfect position. The views are spectacular and the hosts are wonderful. I can't recommend this property enough.

This property is absolutely beautiful! We stayed here Sat 19th July - Sat 26th July 2025. It is immaculate and has everything you need. The views are breathtaking at any time of the day. We previously stayed at the property next door last year which was also beautiful. Bethan the owner is lovely and on our arrival provided us with a welcome box which was so kind. We will definitely be returning in the future x

Tyn Llwyn Barn is a fabulous cottage with spectacular views!

Bethan is most welcoming and has made a home from home. Nothing is too much trouble! The barn has to be the most well equipped, well maintained and cleanest property we have ever stayed in. I would certainly recommend this for anyone looking for a dog friendly staycation and we hope to be able to return.

The barn was an amazing place to stay and loved by us all.

We thoroughly enjoyed taking in the breathtaking scenery from the large window and hot tub. Very peaceful and relaxing watching the sheep and other wildlife. We would love to return sometime in the near future.

The view from the living room is breathtaking. Very well equipped barn and very clean. The barn is close to so many places to visit, however we did have days we didn’t want to leave it! The owner Bethan is very helpful, checks the hot tub everyday but is not intrusive. Would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful house. We would move there in a heartbeat!

I have been to a lot of hot tub cottages, but this beats them all.

Credit to Bethan the owner. Attention to detail. Also proving that a hot tub can be cleaned and up to temperature for the next guests on time with effort. The view from the window is out of this world. One of my best holidays.

Our stay at Tyn Llwyn Barn was perfect!

On arrival we were greeted by Bethan who has been a fabulous host so friendly and helpful. We were left a hamper basket with a range of items which was much appreciated. The property is immaculate you can tell the owners take great pride in it. We loved that there were TVs in every room so no one fights over what to watch! Each room is so cosy, with a en-suite bathroom which was luxury, especially the bath tub in one of the rooms! The view from the lounge upstairs, is truly breathtaking you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. We had thick snow during our stay and Bethan asked us if we needed anything from the shops due to unable to go out for a few days. But this didn’t hinder the stay it was very cosy and we enjoyed sitting in the lounge playing quizzes! We had another guest arrival and due to the snow there car overturned however Bethan’s Husband Huw helped us out with no bother and got them back on the road which we are very grateful for. Although the weather was very cold we still made use of the hot tub, the views when sat in the hot tub are amazing. There are plenty of places nearby to explore and plenty of shops. We really loved our stay and will come back in a heartbeat. Only tip for future guests would be just to open the gates just before you accelerate to get in as this will help you a lot. Take it steady up the hill and down as it is steep but if you take it steady you’ll get up and down with no issues.

This is a stunning property with some wonderful places and sights to see.

Everything about the property is brilliant.Drive up to it is a bit scary but take it steady and it isn't a problem.

What a beautiful property.

Thank you so much . Bethan made us a vegan hamper . We weren't expecting anything . I informed her before hand we were vegan as I didn't want to waste normal stuff and she went to the trouble to cater for us . So clean and comfortable. The vale of Llangollen is super beautiful but sitting in the living room of the property I felt I was in an eagles eyrie . Loved it so much I have rebooked for next year .

Great property, with all necessary amenities and superb location.

We loved the barn's styling and design: cosy, yet modern. The owner was extremely reactive when we had a problem with the telly (she took immediate action and the problem was quickly solved) and even provided info about possible traffic problems when she knew we were on the road! We can only warmly recommend a stay at Tyn Llwyn barn!!

Love this holiday home.

Me, my partner and the dog stopped here for a week. The place was beautiful, full equipped with everything you need. Washing machine dryer dish washer and shower/ bath. A beautiful big hot tub with a view on the field. A lovely view in the living room upstairs where you can look for miles. A lovely hamper was left. We loved the lemon drizzle cake. We felt like we were at home. The beds were comfortable as well. A truly stunning place to stay. We made use of the kitchen and cooked at home. Aldi was 10 minutes away from us where we got everything we needed for the week. It was a pleasure been in Wales looking at beautiful scenery all around. We'll come and visit again in the future.

What a lovely property in a stunning location, I can’t flaw a single thing!

After a week of waking up to that view I still wasn’t over it. Check-in was easy, a welcome box was left as a gesture, the place was absolutely gleaming and it was nice toasty when we arrived which was greatly appreciated on such a cold day.

Beautiful property super clean and lovely setting.

Heating went off because of power cut in the night owners fixed it in 30 mins superb.

The barn is absolutely beautiful and the setting is second to none.

We stayed here as our minimoon straight after our wedding and it couldn’t have been any better! Bethan is so lovely - a welcome gift was left for us and she was excellent at communicating with us. We’d love to visit again.

This is the best holiday let we’ve ever stayed in.

It’s just off the A5, up in the hills with easy to follow instructions on where to find it. It was beautifully clean with lots of lovely quality touches. There was milk, branded tea, coffee and biscuits, fresh flowers and a bottle of bubbles to celebrate just getting married. It’s light and airy. The views from the upstairs living room where amazing especially with the changing weather. It’s quiet, private and very peaceful. The enclosed garden is great for dog owners. It’s so close to lots of great walking, castles and history. There are plenty of local facilities, great pubs and restaurants all very close between Corwen and Llangollen. Bethan, the property host is superb. Very helpful and available when needed. I can’t wait to go back! Thankyou Bethan.

The place was immaculate throughout and has to be the nicest holiday home ever stayed in. Will be booking to go again sometime. The hot tub was amazing and lovely to relax in overlooking the views.

It was just perfect in every way.

Bethan was so helpful and friendly, she made us feel so welcome. We had everything we needed in the barn plus a little bit more, the welcome pack was a lovely touch. We were a party of two couples with 2 dogs and the barn worked perfectly, plenty of space inside and out. Tyn Llwyn Barn is situated perfectly for exploring much of North Wales, especially Llangollen, which is just lovely We didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning! Thank you Bethan!

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, which stretched out as far as the eye could see. Magnificent views through the large picture window in the living area. The property is situated on the side of a steep hill which means walking outdoors can be challenging for some. Also close to Llangollen which offers several nice restaurants.

Owners were always on hand if needed but never intrusive. The area has lots of lovely places to see within 30-60 minutes including the coastal towns. Our dog loved to sit and watch out the window where you can see for miles. Would highly recommend.

Spectacular views from an absolutely amazing cottage !

We have stayed in lots of places but this is my absolute favourite! The pictures look amazing but the reality is even better. Bethan is the most fabulous host and the housekeeping is immaculate! We will return and friends have already booked for next year based on our holiday snaps! The location offers a wide variety of activities too. Something for everyone!

Absolutely perfect.

One of the best holiday lets we have ever stayed in, & we've stayed in a large number! It's a real shame that we wouldn't be able to afford to stay there in high season but can understand why the cost is so high with the barn conversion having only been finished this year to a very high spec, & that view is to die for.

We had the most amazing holiday at Tyn Llwyn Barn.

This was our first holiday with our 7 month old daughter and it could not have been more perfect. The view is absolutely stunning, and although it looks good in the photos it is even better in real life. It was a great base for exploring the area, and perfect to come back to after a long walk with the dogs. We really enjoyed watching the sheep and cows run down past the house in the morning when the farmer came to feed them. We will definitely be coming back, as we found this house very family friendly. We had a high chair and travel cot which was available upon request and there are already retractable stair gates installed which is great for young children and dogs. I’ve already recommended this hidden gem to many family and friends who are keen to visit. Thank you to Bethan, our lovely host, who made our first holiday as a family very special.

Lovely holiday cottage.

The view is stunning and can be enjoyed from the big window inside or the hot tub on the deck. A few lovely walks directly from the property and in a good location for exploring. We had an amazing time, so glad we booked here

We stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it!

The location is fantastic, it's a bit tricky to find at first but you can see the amazing landscape window from the main road and this acts as a guide to find it. Once you're in, it's incredible, if anything, the pictures don't quite do it justice. Really enjoyed our stay, lots to do and see in the surrounding areas and enough to keep you busy for a week or more. Highly recommended and the hosts were very welcoming!

A lovely relaxing holiday.

A wonderfully decorated holiday cottage with everything you can think of that you may need on a week's holiday. Loved the hot tub. Always something we want when picking out a holiday cottage. Especially after a day out walking the walls in Chester !!! Lots of places of interest. Thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous property with stunning views and a very relaxing hot tub.

Interior deco was just lovely and the house was so nice to come back to after a long walk. Plenty of walks in the area and very dog friendly with secure outdoor space. Bethan was a great host, nothing too much trouble and we hope to be back soon.

This is a super comfortable cottage for up to 4 people in a stunning setting with easy access into the Snowdonia park area.

It is extremely comfortable with the owners having thought of everything and it was immaculately clean . The views were breathtaking and the hot tub a real bonus. It deserves a 10 out of 10 .
