Beudy Bach

A real gem of a find.

Location couldn’t be better to access Anglesey, Snowdonia, Caernarfon, Colwyn and Llandudno, all equidistance and in easy reach. Our cottage was home from home and Jane made us feel welcome from the start and the welcome treats were something else! Ideal base to explore North Wales, whatever your interests. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend to those with four legged friends.

We've stayed in Buedy Bach twice and it's adjoining slightly bigger twin once I could live in either perfectly happily !

There are numerous holiday lettings in North Wales, but when you've found one as lovely as this why try anywhere else?

That's why this was our second stay, we arrived in the middle of a storm, the heating and welcome lights were on, and the most delicious treats left on the table. The Accommodation is clean well equipped and spacious,ample towels and good bed linens make for a comfort stay. Huge bath and shower room, constant hot water and well equipped kitchen, full size fridge and freezer. A really peaceful setting with parking directly outside. We honestly belive we found a piece of North Wales accommodation perfection.

We actually stayed in the cottage next door, Beaudy Mawr, which gave us views of Snowdonia from the bedrooms.

A very warm welcome from Jane, the host, with eggs, milk and wonderful home baking awaiting us. The cottage was spotless, warm and comfortable. A welcome haven from the dreadful weather, but we did choose to go on holiday in February!

What a lovely setting to this beautiful cottage.

Easy to find, parking right outside. We had been left a superb welcome pack if welsh cakes, biscuits, fresh eggs and milk. Jane was a lovely lady, even giving us more eggs on our last day to take home. You will not be disappointed with the location of this cottage. On a working farm, in a pretty setting, quiet but easy access to all major roads making it very good for visiting all the local attractions such as Betwsy Coed, Swallow Falls, Llandudno, Conwy, Caernarfon and much more. Had a great very comfortable stay and the goodies when we arrived was very much appreciated.

A quiet location with good parking right outside front door.

We spent an enjoyable week at Beudy Bach.

It is in a great position for getting to various tourist areas and walks. It is within a short drive of at least 3 wonderful National Trust places namely Bodnant Garden, Plas Newydd and Penrhyn Castle and the RSPB reserve at South Stack on Anglesey. There is an enclosed area at the front where our dog was able to potter about. Jane the owner had left us various cakes and biscuits (enough for most of the week) and some milk. She was extremely helpful and when we pointed out that the 'smart tv' would not pick up the on-line TV channels such as BBC iPlayer, she went out the next day and bought a new replacement. We were also able to park our car immediately outside the accommodation. Well recommended.

A very comfortable place to stay with lots of character.

Delicious baked welcome gifts. An ideal base for exploring North Wales and Angelsey. Our only gripe was the lack of provision of hooks in the upstairs bathroom.

Firstly, the best ‘welcome pack’ ever !

It kept us going for several days, much appreciated and all home made. The cottage was spacious , clean and welcoming. Ideally situated for trips to Anglesey, Llanberis and Caernarfon .Glorious scenery in every direction is standard, just take the route between Llanberis and Betws-y-Coed. The only thing we missed was having accessible walking routes from the cottage , this means a heavy reliance on the car.

Beudy Bach is a beautiful converted stone barn that suited our needs perfectly.

We loved the open plan living space which was plenty big enough for the three of us, and very comfortable to settle and relax in after our days out in the Welsh Countryside. The bedrooms were spacious as were the shower and bathroom. We would definitely opt to stay here again when visiting the area.

The property was beautiful, cosy and warm.

It was a wonderful reception, receiving homemade goods on arrival, they were delicious. The location is central for mountains and coast, a 10-15 minute drive to either, including just over the bridge to Anglesley. The owners made a field available for walking our dog, and others staying there, but unfortunately it had been/was occupied by sheep and wasn't pleasant to walk through and we didn't want to risk taking our very young dog through it. A dedicated dog walking area would have made it a great place.

Disappointed the week was over!

The cottage and Jane totally exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do. So close to the mountain walks, ZipWorld, waterfalls. Just stunning. The cottage itself is beautiful. So spacious and at the same time the most cosiest places we’ve stayed. The bed downstairs is amazing. Comfiest bed ever. The fire in the evening was a real treat to come back to after a busy day. Kitchen has everything needed (washing machine & dryer) made everything easier after a wet walk. Jane (owner) was absolutely lovely. Had left homemade cakes and sausage rolls for our arrival. She came and welcomed us when we arrived and made us very welcome. Would totally recommend this cottage. Far Beyond our expectations!

! The biggest problem you'll have is getting it free for time you want!! A barn conversion par excellence really, really, nice,in quiet location between Bangor & Snowdon Gwen the owner left a welcome pack ,showed us around and put the timings We Wanted on the boiler !! Even left Tea Towels!! so we were always warm, the WiFi was good too,& parking just outside with only two low steps down to bedroom the other wise flat ground floor layout was ideal for my wife, The location makes it only minutes drive from Snowdon Railway & mountain paths, and very near the Menai bridge to Anglesey, plus,Zip Wire & Port Merion & Flestiniog Railway are only a bit further,all without having to endure the Bangor town traffic,!!! Bangor being approx 10 minutes drive away. It looks possible to get buses into Bangor or Llanberris from about quarter of mile away but obviously easier to explore if you have your own transport All in all a great place to stay if visiting the area,

Beudy Bach exceeded all expectations.

I've stayed in many holiday rentals and this one was amazing, little things make all the difference like ample places to hang towels in the bathroom, and the towels supplied being plentiful. The rooms are spacious with lots of storage and very comfortable, beds included, a large fridge freezer so only one supermarket trip was needed. Jane left some delicious and very welcome home made treats. a bath in one of the bathrooms was a treat to use after a long snowdonia hike, The photos dont do this property justice. so you are looking at a break in North Wales,there are lots to do explore and see in this area, this property compliments the area perfectly a really special place, I would return without a doubt.

A fantastic cottage in a super location. On our arrival afternoon tea was set out for us, including Welsh cakes, Barabrith, almond slices and mini sausage rolls. We then had cakes left on the doorstep later in the week. How kind. Jane was so friendly and helpful and took time to come and say goodbye before we left. The cottage is comfortable and spacious and very dog friendly. It is in a great spot for exploring many local regions. Would definitely go back.

Lovely spacious cottage in a great location.

Cottage was really well equipped. Loved the small enclosed garden at the front which was ideal for the dog. Really peaceful place to stay. Loved the baked goodies on arrival. Scenery in North Wales is absolutely stunning. Will definitely return

The location was fantastic.

The cottage was beautiful and spacious. We all loved being around the farm animals. A big thank you to Jane for letting the children feed the lamb. Amazing memories made and I'm sure we will be returning in the future.

As soon as I stepped in, it had a good feel about it. It was clean, welcoming and everything you require for a week away. The owner had made some wonderful cakes, which we enjoyed during our stay. No complaints at all. Thank you.

Lovely property on a working farm.

My daughter loved being able to look at the various animals. We were welcomed by a lovely afternoon tea with lots of home made goodies. Few minor repairs needed however very comfortable stay and felt very homely. Would definitely return, ideal setting with stunning views

We very much enjoyed our stay at Buedy Bach.

The cottage is very well equipped, very clean and comfortable, quiet and convenient. Jane, our host, made us very welcome indeed, providing us with a delicious tea of Bara Brith, Welsh Cakes and a wonderful sponge cake. Jane also made us some vegetarian sausage rolls which were just about the best we have had. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Buedy Bach.

Jane was a lovely lady and had been busy baking which was lovely the table was already set for us and the were delicious.

Home baked goodies were well received. Perfect for a relaxing family break. Spacious accommodation, excellent facilities. Well positioned to explore the area.

Beudy Bach is a lovely cottage -ideal for a family holiday .

It’s an excellent base for exploring North Wales. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - loved all the animals . Thanks very much to Jane who made us feel very welcome - her home made Bara Brith and Welsh cakes were superb, and we were given fresh laid eggs to take home. Would recommend.

Will definitely be going back in the future as it’s such a beautiful area - husband’s family live locally so it’s ideal for us. The cottage also has every facility you need for a family holiday in Wales where the weather can be unpredictable.

On arrival the table was laid with homemade cakes for us - a welcome sight after a four hour journey. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable - we did not want for anything as all we needed was to hand. The location was central to Caernarfon, Bangor and Llanberis and relatively easy to find. Jane was lovely and we will definitely be returning to Beudy Bach in the near future.

The listing doesn’t do this place justice, the rooms are far bigger than expected, so much space not only in the shared areas but also in the bedrooms.

Fantastic having x2 bathrooms. If we had to give any sort of constructive criticism it would only be the amount of dust/spider webs in the high ceiling beams.

Cottage is set in a beautiful locations with mountain views, and well located for touring the area.

Jane was a great host, especially the personal touches such as scones and cakes on arrival and Welsh cakes on departure. Highly recommend and would definitely return if visiting the area again.

Jane was very friendly and helpful with information about the farm and the area.

On arrival she made us cakes and left us some eggs. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and when we go back to North Wales we will be staying at her lovely cottage again. 10 out of 10

A beautiful barn conversion on the big farm.

The owner Jane was very flexible and welcoming.. We were welcomed by traditional welsh home made cookies, which were super delicious. A comfortable cottage with charm and all modern necessary facilities. Our son was very excited to see pigs, chickens, cats, cows and sheeps. A very good location, close to a lot of attractions. Highly recommended.

We had a great week at the end of October staying at Beudy Bach.

The owner Jane met us on arrival and provided us with tea and a selection delicious homemade cakes, the warmest of welcomes after a long drive. The property is a good size, the social space downstairs is very well set out. Both Bedrooms are comfortable and we slept well. We traveled with our two Dogs, the property was very practical and our Dogs loved the Wood burner. Everything was as described and we felt confident that if we had have encountered any problems then Jane would have been very happy to help. If you haven't been to this part of Wales then Beudy Bach ticks many boxes, we had visited Snowdonia before but had never explored the Llyn Penisula or Anglesey - there are wonderful quiet beaches there especially for dogs. If you wish to take on Snowdon it is a very short drive away so you can make an earlier or later start to avoid the crowds, the piping hot water was very welcome on our return to help restore some tired legs. We would stay here again and recommend this cottage.

Fantastic location with easy access to plenty of places of interest. The barn conversion is of high spec and you can see why it has a 4 star rating. You could mention that the downstairs bedroom has two steps on entry,my wife had a fall on these and is still being treated for her injuries.

Apart from that very nice cottage very friendly owners,well equiped with everything needed for a quiet stay.

Really nice cottage in an excellent location, just so convenient to get to snowdonia park and also Caernarfon and Bangor with access to Angelsy a couple of miles away, brilliant.

Mine Host was very good and the cottage lacked nothing to make our stay truly memorable. 10/10

The cottage was lovely, clean and well-appointed.

The location was great - we like quiet out-of-the-way places and this farm felt just that, with Bangor only 10 minutes away. It is a wonderful location for exploring Snowdonia and Anglesey. There were also some lovely Welsh Cakes and Bara Brith waiting for us on arrival, and the owner showed us round and checked we had everything we needed.

The location was central and afforded us the convenience to explore both Snowdonia and Angelsey.

The Owner has to be complemented for making us feel welcome with cakes on our arrival and stocking up with an abundance of crockery, utensils and pots and pans and lots of towels. Beudy Bach Cottage had all the warm comforts of home.

We had a lovely welcome from Jane, who rushed across from the house to show us the property and explain the facilities.

The table was laid for tea with an array of cakes to choose from. Although the cottage is on a working farm we had a very peaceful break 3 night break. We visited Y Felinheli, walked around Llyn Padarn in Llanberis and spent a day on Anglesey, enjoying a circular from Aberffraw in the morning, lunch at the Oyster catcher pub followed by a beach walk at Newborough and circular walk through the forest. We relaxed back at the cottage every evening with a lovely fire in the log burner. As we were leaving Jane once again appeared with freshly made pancakes for us to take home as it was shrove Tuesday. All the cakes and pancakes were superb, thank you so much Jane, we will certainly be recommending your cottages and B & B to friends and family, Mr & Mrs G & Bailey & Beau.

The cottage was very clean,tidy and extremely comfortable with all the amenities for a great holiday experience. The cottage is in a lovely quiet position within a farm and is very well located to explore the many attractions in the area. The owner was extremely welcoming and the cakes on arrival were very happily received by the family.

The area it was in the cleanliness and friendliness of the owner and much more.The cottage was bigger than we expected which was great for our 16 year old grandson who could have his privacy if he wanted or we could all be together.

Cakes were available when we arrived and were even given some Welsh cakes to take home with us which was a complete, but much appreciated, gesture.

A wonderful family holiday in a great location.

The owners were so wonderfully welcoming and the cottage had everything you could need. Loads of space and the wood burner was very much appreciated in a wet and soggy week!!! A great welcome on arrival, Jane the owner had baked some lovely cakes for us. The location is great for all activities in Snowdonia National Park. The scenery is stunning and loads to do with 2 teenage kids. We will definitely be going back.

A comfortable property on a working farm.

We liked the mooing cows but others might not - much better than traffic noise! We were very lucky to have incredible weather over the February half term and so could take advantage of the excellent location. Really easy to get to the beaches of Anglesea or to Snowdonia. It's also ideally located for castles and national trust properties. A week isn't enough. Well equipped - lots of kitchen stuff and it was nice to have a dryer as well as a washer. Little courtyard was dog proof - mine can get out of any small gap and she was well contained even when she knew there were cats around.

We both had an excellent stay in this well appointed and peaceful cottage for 10 days over the Christmas period.

Based on a small working farm, it gave the impression of being in the heart of the tranquil countryside. An ideal location for exploring Snowdonia, with many villages and Anglesey only a short drive away. The hosts were friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive, even with a dog in tow there were no issues at all. There are smaller cottages available at the same location with parking so certainly worth a look. All in all a wonderful stay in a farmstead setting in an ideal area for exploring, would recommend.
