Great stay at a lovely cottage , welcome gift and doggy gift was so nice.

Perfect clean accommodation, near to shops and pub ,could not fault anything ,will be back.

A modern well equipped accommodation.

Had everything we needed. My Dad uses a zimmer for mobility and he was able to move around with ease. Secure rear garden safe for our Dog to go out in. Walking distance to chip shop, pubs that serve food and petrol station with shop. Well placed to enjoy the beauty of Anglesey within short drives. We will come back. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning little cottage.

As it was during winter when I went for my stay, first steps into the cottage, I noticed how toasty it was which was so cosy and comforting. The scenery around is very pretty. The listing mentions the train line and road outside but these never became a factor, in fact I forgot they were actually there. Everything inside the cottage was neat, tidy and organized. It felt like home.

We arrived late in the evening and were delighted with the cottage.

We were so grateful for the milk, sugar and tea bags that the owners left for us as we were dying for a nice hot cup of tea after our 7 hour drive! I cannot express how impressed we were. So clean and well presented. A real home from home. Lovely comfortable beds and large fresh towels.Plenty of hot water and easy to control heating. Only a short walk to the shops. I would 100% recommend this cottage to anyone and hope that if we are back in the area we will be able to stay here again.

09/05/25 to 16/05/25 We arrived at Ysgubor Llwyd Friday afternoon and everything was perfect so fresh and spotlessly clean then we spotted the welcome pack and wow coffee ,wine ,,Welsh cakes ,treats for our two Bichon Frise also balls they were happy dogs .

The beds were so comfy I had to drag my self up of a morning the shower over the bath was great I was a bit worried about that as I have trouble getting in them and need assistance but being lower I found a way so happy .The outside space was great for dogs and us to relax after a day .Its just out side the village but a short walk to Spar ,Pub,chip shop and other food out let’s we trided most all good.Great cottage the owner has thought of everything .Thanks again it’s definitely⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hope to come back again

Perfect holiday home .

Lovely property inside and out , couldn't fault it . We loved everything about it . Location is perfect for either getting your shopping for your stay or eating out or take-aways . The area is great for beaches, sunsets, travelling a little further for National trust properties ( only a 20 minute or so drive away). The owner/s has been so thoughtful in setting out things inside for the holiday maker and was generous in providing a welcome pack and other things like dishwasher tablets/ washing up liquid/ bin bags etc Parking is perfect . Cannot fault this super property and undoubtedly the cleanest one we've ever stayed in .

Brilliant little cottage .

This was a super property very clean and welcoming with lovely bedding and everything to hand.

Good parking and handy for all amenities. The owner obviously loves it.

Great place to stay and to use as a base for exploring Anglesey.

It was clean and furnished relatively to a high standard. The welcome gifts were much appreciated after a long journey. Would recommend to anybody who's planning to explore the local area..but to bare in mind if three adults stay two have to share a double bed ..Hx

This was a delightful cottage with every need catered for both for us and the dog, spotlessly clean and comfortable it was a lovely home from home.

Thank you for the treats both human and canine.

The only problem we had is with the directions to get to the wonderful cottage, they were a bit confusing as we were unfamiliar with the area.

However once we found it we were over the moon with the quality of the accommodation, a truly great little cottage, comfortable, clean and close to Penrhos Coastal Park for the dogs. A great weekend break at a magical little cottage.

Absolutely beautiful cottage thoroughly clean throughout.

Really high end features the welcome basket was a lovely touch and a great start to our holiday. Even though the cottage is off a busy main road and train line we found it surprisingly peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside on an evening relaxing. We would definitely book again ideal location for visiting Anglesey. Only comment would be we found the double bed abit uncomfy but maybe this was our personal preference.

Lovely welcome treats provided and for the dog as well. Great location for trips out. Definitely would stay in this cottage again.

Owner very helpful without being over intrusive. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property and we hope to make a return visit in the not so distance future.

Couldn’t fault the place.

The pictures don’t really do it justice which is why I downgraded for accuracy of listing. It’s better in person than in the pictures. Really nice enclosed back area which was really useful as we brought our dog. Left treats for our dog and treats for us which was a nice touch. In a really good location with a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach. Couldn’t fault the place. Would stay again and would definitely recommend.

It was a lovely holiday cottages, couldn't fault it, made very welcome & was spotless.

It was so comfortable & near to all that we required, sights/walks & food outlets we could have easily stayed longer.

THIS COTTAGE WAS PERFECT FOR OUR STAY EVERYTHING IN THE COTTAGE WAS OF A HIGH QUALITY THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR ALL THE SHOPS , TWO PUBS LESS THAN A TEN MINUTE WALK, THE BACK GARDEN IS REALLY SAFE FOR OUR FOUR LEGGED FRIEND AND ALL THE EXTRAS FOR OUR SELVES AND OUR DOG WERE GREATLY RECEIVED

Couldn’t fault it.

Clean, stylish, just lovely. It is close to the road so if you want total silence it’s not for you. But if you don’t mind that then it is perfect.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage, the place was spotless, and had everything we needed for a great stay.

Weather could of been kinder, but nobody can do anything about that. We will definitely be back soon

Cottage was very clean and warm with every thing we needed. Are 3 Dogs enjoyed their treats etc and the wine welsh cakes etc were a treat for us.. Plenty of lovely walks and the village had every thing you needed.. Thank you Helen for letting us stay in your holiday home.. Would recommend to family and friends

We had an excellent stay in Valley, a lovely little cottage in a great location along the road from the beautiful nature reserve and well served by local amenities.

Helen the host was super helpful.

What a beautiful cottage, immaculately clean ,beautifully presented and was short of nothing you could need or want .

Cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in.

Cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed plus it was close to amenities. Good base for exploring the island.

Cottage was lovely, Only thing would suggest is let clients know it’s right next to a noisy road and possibly supply ear plugs to drown out noise for sensitive sleepers, I was fine but my husband struggled to sleep on first night so we bought some ear plugs and he slept great on second night.

Apart from that everything was great.

This lovely little cottage was beautifully presented and immaculately clean and we couldn’t have felt more welcome by the host who went over and above to make our short stay as perfect as it could be.

The cottage was well equipped with everything you could possibly need on a short break and the personal touches which welcomed us were really appreciated. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer due to work commitments but would book again and return without hesitation. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

5 out of 5! The cottage is immaculate, beautifully and simply decorated with brand new pretty much everything. It had everything I needed, the welcome pack was superb both for me and my dog and so thoughtful! I am also grateful for the accurate listing and bold headline that this cottage is near a busy road. Whilst it’s very safe and has superb parking and enclosed gardens it is noisy! That said having been prepared for it made my expectations realistic! The up side of this location is you are never more than 20-30 minutes away from all corners of the island! Trearddur bay 5 minutes and others 16. The location is absolutely brilliant for exploring everything the island has to offer as well as several pubs/restaurants and supermarkets nearby! Really enjoyed it!

This was a lovely cottage, stylishly fitted out and furnished to a high standard.

The location is ideal for exploring the island, close to main roads but also near to beaches, country parks and good local shops, pubs and restaurants. The owner provides a welcome pack, fresh flowers and wine, even doggy bags and treats.

This is the cleanest holiday letting I have ever stayed in, it is immaculate, the owners work really hard to maintain the cottage to really high standards, we had a lovely week here and although there were restrictions due to Covid 19 we felt very safe in the cottage.

A superbly appointed and equipped cottage that really felt like home from home.

We also had the opportunity to meet the owner who is lovely and caring and clearly takes great pride in her property and wants to provide a really good experience when you stay there. Over the years we have rented numerous properties in Wales and on Anglesey and this is the best by a country mile. We will be back for sure

We throughly enjoyed our stay here, the cottage exceeds expectations fitted out to an extremely high standard, with off road safe parking in front.

Location was perfect for walking our dog with a gravelled beach less than five minutes walk, and a nice walk towards Treaddur Bay along the estuary, Penrhos coastal park is also a short walk away.

The cottage was excellent , well designed , fitted out and furnished and super clean , no problems at all .
