Bluebell Cottage

All good!

Lovely view and wildlife to keep us entertained. Owner very friendly and helpful. Probably not suitable for older folks, with lots of steps on a fairly steep gradient. The kitchen was well equipped, but very small to work in. The pros far outweigh the cons though!

Bluebell was a lovely little place to stay,it served well and was ideally situated,not to far to travel to see all that we wanted,lovely balcony spot to dot and drink morning tea and a dri k st yge end of the day,over looking the valley and taking in the views, very happy.

An enjoyable stay in a lovely cottage amongst beautiful scenery with fantastic wildlife, a well equipped cottage and a friendly host.

We hope to return.

Normally stay in hotel in llandudno but wanted change for partners 60th birthday.

The property is small but has everything you need. It is in the most amazing area with fantastic views and nature. We will be going back as not enjoyed a break as much or been as relaxed as we were there. The owner greeted us and if had needed anything was in easy reach. We did not need anything. One thing to note the track up to cabin is slightly intimidating but just take nice and slow.

Well this is our second time at blue bell cottage its just heaven been there and so peaceful and stunning views and your so welcomed by silvia on arrival I said to silvia that if I come in to money I would buy her out what more can I say about blue bell cottage I think it says it all just so tranquil Kev & kat

I had a lovely few days.

The views were spectacular and the birds all around you were really relaxing. The owners were lovely and checked in to make sure everything was okay. The cottage itself was lovely and had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend

Bluebell Cottage is a little gem ideally located for exploring Snowdonia National Park.

With comfortable beds and lounge area and a well equipped kitchen it's ideal to come back and relax after exploring the area. The outside deck is a sun trap perfect for watching the birds and squirrels in the garden. Excellent communication with Sylvia. Thank you.

We were certainly very happy with everything about Bluebell Cottage.

It was very cosy, warm and we felt "at home" there. the owners were very helpful and made sure we were comfy. We will certainly look to go back there again. We feel this was the best "Sykes" cottage we have been in so far. Thank you Sylvia and Frank.

What an amazing place to stay!

Bluebell Cottage is quaint, cosy, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. It is set in beautiful gardens with trees out the back and a stunning view at the front. I enjoyed breakfast on the decking every morning looking at the view and watching the many birds in the garden. The owners were lovely and have put a lot of thought into what the guests need.

The views were spectacular, and the gardens in which the cottage stood was beautiful.. The cottage itself was very, very small, but comfortable. I wouldnt recommend it for anyone wanting to stay for longer than a few days, but for someone looking to walk and spend their days out and about and just want somewhere to return to get your head down and enjoy the views in the morning then this is definitely worth a visit..

A lovely peaceful stay in an idyllic setting.

Lots of birds visiting the garden feeders. Spectacular view across the valley. Ideally located to visit a number of local attractions such as Bodnant Gardens, RSPB Conway, Conway Castle and Harbour and many more. The picnic table, sun loungers and upright chairs outside were all used at very points of my stay for eating, drinking, reading, snoozing, reading or just admiring the view. So relaxing. The lodge is compact but really well set out so wasn’t lacking in any way.

It is a nice small cottage with a beautiful view.

The Bluebell Cottage is delightfu, surrounded by lovely Valleys and Hills.

Everybody was particularly friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We absolutely adored the bluebell cottage, although it’s small, it is perfectly adequate for 2 people.

And the views and wildlife around the cottage is absolutely amazing and breathtaking. It is in a perfect location to explore north wales. Just take an air fryer with you to aid with cooking. The bed is extremely comfortable we slept beautifully. And awoke everyday refreshed and ready for the days exploring ahead. We highly recommend visiting Bodnant garden which is local open garden. It is unbelievably beautiful, we visited in may time, beautiful!!! We will be back 100%

The accommodation was very clean, the bed was very comfy and the shower (whilst small) was hot and powerful.

The location was great for exploring the area, with lots to see and do close by. Bluebell Cottage was in such a beautiful setting, in a pretty garden with lovely views and the birdsong was spectacular so we spent a lot of time simply relaxing on the deck, enjoying the views, reading a book and listening to the birds. The owner, Sylvia, was friendly and responsive. We're very likely to visit the area again and would definitely book Bluebell Cottage again.

Enjoyed my stay at Bluebell Cottage.

It was very comfortable. I enjoyed sitting out eating my breakfast admiring the view and watching the birds coming into the feeders. I saw your Greater Spotted Woodpecker a few times and you have a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker coming in on the odd occasion, these are quite rare. It was very quiet and peaceful and the bed was very comfortable. I will be back.

Just spent the week at bluebell cottage what can I say wow what a lovely little place so peaceful quiet and cosy me and the wife loved it sitting out on the decking early morning and evenings watching the wildlife even had the squirrels come up when we were sitting there.

We had a fantastic week at Bluebell cottage.

As others have said the kitchen is a bit of a squeeze but we were aware of this before we arrived and took our air fryer with us. The shower is quite small but the water pressure and temp were perfect so it didn't matter. The location is amazing and the visiting wildlife was a joy. The peace and quiet along with an extremely comfortable bed meant we got a good night sleep every night. Tv signal and wi-fi is spot on. .we would be more than happy to return and recommend to others

We had a fantastic few days at Bluebell Cottage, the accommodation is exactly as per the listing and Sylvia was very friendly, but not at all intrusive.

We had an excellent stay at Bluebell gardens were beautiful chalet had everything we needed great location to visit anywhere we wanted to go not too far for shops pubs etc met Sylvia the owner on our arrival and didn’t need to contact her during our stay as we could not find fault with anything all in all would highly recommend this property and watching the different wildlife in the gardens was a delight morning or evening

The property was set in the most relaxing area.

It was quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds and squirrels to watch. The owner was really helpful but also very unobtrusive too. We absolutely loved our time there. The beauty of the place, its views and atmosphere were exactly what we’d hoped for.

Lovely walks from the cabin. Cosy, warm and clean with a lovely comfortable bed. We sat out on the balcony every morning and evening and watched the birds and squirrels. The grounds are well kept and it’s such a beautiful place to be if you want a break from a busy life

Stunning views to wake up to. It would have been difficult to find had it not been for Sylvia’s directions. However this is really not a problem. Only about a five minutes drive from the nearest village with all the amenities but still feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Overall just perfect

Our stay in Bluebell cottage was perfect, surrounded by bluebells and little bunnies - an idyllic location, on-hand to many fascinating beautiful walks and close to areas to eat and beautiful villages.

And the comprehensive welcome pack was so helpful.

The cottage was clean and neat down to the little soaps provided and soft music playing on arrival. It's all the little touches that really add to the experience. Great location. Stunning views from the cottage. Lovely walks very close by. Very quiet and peaceful area. Highly recommended location for an enjoyable and peaceful holiday.

Ideal chalet for 2, for a really quiet stay, with wildlife just outside your door.

Spotless interior with everything you need for a relaxing break. When we ate in, the facilities were all we needed. If you want to eat out, the Maenan Abbey restaurant is a short stroll down the drive. We did and had a nice meal there.

Bluebell cottage is set in such a lovley area, the property was beautiful and clean had everything we could ask for, the owners are so welcoming and friendly, there are a few local walks around make sure to have walking boots though, I would recommend going here for a nice little break away the cottage is cute and cosy, had such a lovley weekend away here would love to come back!

It's compact, well laid out, and has all of the necessities. The area is absolutely stunning and a great base to explore the mountains and the north coast. The hosts are friendly and around to help if anything pops up. The local Fish and Chip shop in Llanrwst is a must.

The blueBells Cottage Oct 2022 A one bedroom chalet/lodge, in pleasant woodland surroundings, overlooking the Conwy valley.

A step up from the caravan, in most areas, except the kitchen, which although adequate, was small. Worktop space lacking. All the facilities that you could want are there, except for a washing machine. The view from the main window was very good. The cottage is up a long narrow rough drive. A word of warning to anyone trying to find the cottage. The post code on a sat nav or phone will only get you near the main area on the main road. If coming from the North, then you have to go past the drive entrance, do a U-turn, then cut across the road to the start of the drive. then up the single track. It is signposted and has reflextive triangles at the entrance. The cottage is realtively small, but has all that you need. The kitchen is the smallest room, though useable. A decent shower in the bathroom, though more shelves would help. A reasonable amount of storage. Heating in the living room is provided by an electric fire. A bit noisy, but it quickly heats up the room. The bedroom does not have a heater, but there is an electric blanket. Still, adequate on a cold October night. A deck and lounger are provided outside. A lot of handy little stickers are provided by the owners, giving guidance to to such things as switch locations. The cottage was a good base for visiting the North of Wales area. Trains and buses possbile, but the times are infrequent, so driving is a more likely option. Note: the footbridge at Dolgarrog is closed, preventing a walking option to the other side of the valley. The cottage felt clean and I had a pleasant stay.

I simply adored my staying at the cottage Bluebell.

Lovely cosy little cottage surrounded of trees and where you can watch the sunset behind the mountains and also see the moon in the evenings from the same spot. The location is good, far away from the towns but with easy and quick access to them all. And the owners were always very welcoming and considerate. The chalet is in a beautiful spot, lovely views.

It had everything we needed plus extras and spotlessly clean. A great pity the bathroom and kitchen weren’t just a bit bigger. It would have made all the difference and made it a perfect place to stay. There was some wasted space by an attempt to make a second bedroom which was a complete failure as there was no room with the bed even to stand up in there. It would have made an ideal en suite bathroom and then the existing bathroom could be put into the kitchen which adjoined it.

Although everything met our expectations and in some case was more than expected the pictures on the web site make the property look much bigger than it actually is.

Only small but comfortable, beautiful views particularly watching the ever changing weather rolling over the hills. Very peaceful, enjoyed sitting on the decking with a glass of wine and good book. Central position for exploring North Wales.

Sitting back and watching the birds was such a relaxing experience! Walk to the station and stop the train to go to the seaside or to Betws Y Coed. Really enjoyed the week and the weather pretty good too!
