The adjoining dining area is ideal for enjoying meals together, while the kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a self-catered stay, including an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The main local attractions include Zip World Slate caverns, the longest zip line in Europe and fastest in the world, this is a great underground adventure. The slate mines now hold the prestigious status of a world heritage site, awarded by UNESCO and visitors can take enthralling underground trips there to see mining as it was done in days gone by. The famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway also runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog.
