Description

Betws-y-Coed 1.1 miles.

Awelfryn is a charming terraced, stone-built cottage tucked away in the scenic setting of Pentre Du near Betws-y-Coed, offering easy access to countryside walks, striking views, and nearby pubs.

Surrounded by the impressive landscapes of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, and with an array of outdoor activities close at hand, this inviting retreat makes a great choice for families and friends looking to explore Conwy.

Arrive and step into a welcoming interior, where an open-plan living space provides a bright and sociable setting.

The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing hearty dishes, best enjoyed together at the dining area, before settling into the sitting space and relaxing beside the warming glow of the woodburning stove.

At the end of the day, refresh in the shower room before heading to one of two well-presented bedrooms, choosing between a double or a triple bunk room.

In warmer months, make the most of the rear garden, where you can dine alfresco while taking in the surrounding hills and distant mountains, accompanied by the sounds of birds overhead.

A shop and pub are within easy reach, while Betws-y-Coed offers a wider selection of amenities alongside popular attractions such as Swallow Falls, the Conwy Valley Railway Museum, and the Tree Top Adventure High Ropes Course.

Further afield, the historic town of Conwy is home to its impressive castle, town walls, and harbour, while the coastal resort of Llandudno boasts the Great Orme, a traditional pier, and sweeping sandy beaches.

With Eryri National Park on your doorstep, there are ample opportunities for walking, cycling, and watersports.

Awelfryn is a fantastic base for discovering the beauty of Conwy and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

What guests are saying

Perfectly situated just outside the hustle & bustle of Betws-y-Coed.

The cottage is cosy but nestled amongst trees on a hillside it's the view that steals the show. We had a perfect week. Thankyou.
