“What a find this place is.”

Nestled below Harlech castle just off the main road you'll find this beautiful cottage property that has been decorated and finished to a high standard. The Woodlands site has high spec caravans that are privately owned and is well maintained and clean by owners and site management alike. Entrance to the cottage is via a barn style door which comes in handy on warm days as you can open half of the door to let the air in. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need and is modern ...

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need and is modern and high spec. The bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and sink. Again all to a good spec. The bedrooms have plenty of space with a double wardrobe in the master and an industrial style clothing rack in the second bedroom. There is also plenty of drawer space. An iron and ironing board are also provided (this isn't mentioned on Sykes), theres even an hairdryer should you need one). There is a nice area outside to sit and watch the sun set in the evening with chairs and a table/bench for al fresco dining. The cottage was spotlessly clean....hands up to the cleaner as there wasn't a spec of dust anywhere. Chris the site manager is so helpful and always contactable if needed. He is both polite and friendly too. Harlech village is a short walk up the world's steepest street (awarded in 2019 but then taken back by a street in New Zealand). You can also drive up if the walk is too steep. The village is beautiful and laid back with a few places to eat and shop. The deli is well worth a visit. The guys who run it are so lovely and there is a wide range if choice food wise. They do a lovely steak pasty. There is also a small antique shop further down the road which is worth a visit and the book store has an abundance of books to choose from if you're into reading. Back to the cottage I would highly recommend staying at Tan Llech. The cottage is beautiful, the site is relaxed, clean and chilled. I would highly recommend staying here and hopefully I can return again one day to visit Harlech knowing ill be staying in a top quality cottage.
