The coastline here is fantastic and there are well-marked coastal walks. The 18th-century copper mines, once the largest in the world, should not be missed and the small harbour from where the copper was shipped is delightful.
Nearby, the pretty village of Cemaes is well worth a visit with sandy beaches and a small variety of shops and eating places to sample. Should you tire of the coast (who would?!) the magnificent Snowdonia is only a 45-minute drive away.

Tyn y Mynydd is a lovely cottage; beautifully decorated, fully equipped and well maintained.
The log burner was a lovely touch for a couple of cooler evenings. Derek and Rosemary, the owners and neighbours, were friendly, welcoming and helpful but never intrusive. The cottage is in quiet countryside a mile or so from Bull Bay, providing a peaceful retreat. It was a good base for dramatic coastal walks and for exploring the rest of Anglesey and further afield onto the North Wales mainland. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend the cottage to others.

Had everything you wanted in the cottage, home from home. We will definitely be back. Thankyou so much both, would not hesitate to recommend..lovely places to eat, and lots of coastal walking done..Thankyou again.
