“We had a fantastic stay at Llecyn Braf.”

The pictures don’t quite show how amazing the sea views are from most rooms. It has also had a lovely new kitchen since the pictures were taken Initially, we were slightly apprehensive when we pulled up, a few bungalows seem to be having renovations which gave us a false first impression of the estate. Despite this once inside we were extremely impressed, it is very quiet and peaceful, all we heard was the birdsong. The bungalow was clean, well equipped and warm. The beds were very comfortable. We did have a problem with the electric tripping, unfortunately while I was in the shower, Anthony was at the bungalow within minutes to sort it out. We also ran out of oil during our stay. Again Anthony was on hand quickly, sourced more oil and was extremely apologetic, explaining the oil had been run down to enable a replacement tank to be fitted. Our dog Aero enjoyed the enclosed dog safe garden. It is a fantastic base to tour the Island and we certainly plan to return. Thank you for letting us stay.

The property

A delightful detached bungalow in an enviable headland location with views over the Irish Sea, just a short walk from the centre of Amlwch town and the Anglesey Coastal Path, one mile from Amlwch harbour on the north coast of Anglesey.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on a small residential estate, yet close to the centre of the popular resort of Amlwch, you will find this welcoming bungalow.

Decorated to a good standard, this modern coastal cottage has everything needed for a memorable family holiday.

A path leads from private parking in front of the cottage, past the side lawn to the front door, and opens into a hallway leading to the main sitting room with a comfy corner sofa, and enjoys sea views over gorseland.

French doors lead into a bright and airy conservatory also enjoying undisturbed distant coastal views.

The kitchen is well-equipped and incorporates a dining table to create a social area to sit and relax with family and friends over a good meal and glass of wine.

Three pleasant bedrooms lead off the landing to include a children’s bunk room, a double bedroom, and a master bedroom with king-size bed plus en-suite shower facilities to support the stylish family bathroom.

Outside, the lawn wraps around three sides of the cottage, offering a sunny area whatever time of the day, whilst a patio outside the kitchen door makes an ideal entertaining area for barbecues and alfresco dining.

A garage provides safe storage for jet skis, kayaks or bikes and you will find deckchairs stored here if you want to use them for relaxing on the beach.

Local shops and pubs are just a few minutes’ walk away and the harbour pubs and the Copper Kingdom Centre can be discovered along the Coastal Path in one direction, and the tiny secluded beach of Traeth Dynion in the other.

This is a wonderful cottage offering a lovely coastal getaway for families or friends all year long.
