Sant Seiriol

We love this house and have now stayed here 3 times!

It is perfect for our family as we have 2 young children and it has everything we need. However, we feel like the house could do with a bit of maintenance as it is beginning to look a little tired. The blind in the hallway on the top floor could also do with replacing please to ensure the upstairs rooms are dark enough in summer for children sleeping.

We had an excellent stay, our second visit this year and we will definitely be booking to come back.

A fantastic location, good food next door. Plenty of good local pubs!

Overall the property was comfortable and we had a good stay.

The main areas for us was that the wi-fi was down all week. This was a major issue to us because our son is in the middle of his A levels. This curtailed most of his studies. We informed the owners agent who said it had been logged but nothing changed. The sofas were not particularly clean and stained. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great but a bit hot due to the Aga having stay on.

Located at the end of Beaumaris high street, it has loads of space, is very comfortable and has loads of games and books for any rainy days. It made a perfect base for my family as we celebrated my sons graduation from Bangor Uni. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Excellent location.

Well equipped kitchen with warming Aga. Fantastic bookcase containing books ranging from baby/toddler to adult. Lots of board games and jigsaws to keep the family entertained. Decor and furniture could do with refreshing in some areas but perfectly adequate and comfortable. Could do with hooks on bathroom doors!

The cottage was excellent and provided the perfect base in Beaumaris.

The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen space and access to garden area is fantastic. We loved the huge range of games and books available. It would have been useful to have access to a cleaning cloth/ dish cloth/basic cleaning supplies as these were not provided in addition to hand-wash in each bathroom. We had also expected the cot to be set up (perhaps indicating that it is a travel cot would be useful as it was actually unsuitable for a small baby without a comfortable mattress). The shower drain may need looking at as the shower was not draining well, requiring us to stop the water flow several times during a shower. Check in time of 4pm seems late and a slightly earlier time would be very welcome. We will recommend this property to all of our friends!

This traditional family property suited our three generation get together perfectly, very roomy , perfect location and a real homely feel, we all enjoyed sitting in the chair in the upstairs sitting room by the window seat, the view was glorious, hope to stay again soon x

Best property we have ever stayed in and by a long mile too.

Location (Beaumaris) perfect; stunning views across the bay; wonderful to be able to open front door and in the street immediately; style and character of the historic house has not been impaired by sensitive modernisation; great choice of rooms for relaxation; all facilities we needed were available; 100 out of 100

Lovely house and great for families and friend groups.

Only downside is that there are only 2 bath/shower rooms between 4 bedrooms, and one of those is en suite. The house is ideally situated for walking to shops and pubs in Beaumaris.

A family of 7 (inc 4 over 75’s), we loved the cottage, location was great and we spent most of our time in the conservatory because the kitchen was close by.

There were a lot of cobwebs in there!! We all loved the lay out, the rooms etc. a few of us bumped our heads but got used to it, the beams are a feature! We only found the microwave on leaving, it was not directly in the kitchen, wasn’t a problem. Could have done with a few spare towels. Overall we were really happy, we would definitely go back, thank you

Everything we needed and more.Fantastic location.Great selection of books and games. Only thing we could think of that wasn't provided was a hairdryer and we'd forgotten to bring one.

Fantastic location, loved the property, especially the history of the building, the 1st floor sitting room and bay window, kitchen and conservatory!

Beds were super comfortable. En-suite bathroom could do with a full shower and a bit of maintenance, but this is very minor. Great place that I'd very happily return to!

Saint Seriol is a lovely, comfortable and spacious property ideally located for access to restaurants, shops and local attractions.

We loved having three different rooms to relax, watch TV or play games, often all being used at the same time by the three generations of our family. Bedrooms are large and comfortable but adults do need to remember to watch out for low beams in the top floor! Our grandchildren loved the huge selection of books and games to use. Parking was a slight problem for the first couple of days but as it was Easter weekend Beaumaris was extremely busy and one of the car parks was flooded. There were also no weekly passes available and we were informed that payment for parking on The Green nearby was about to undergo a new system. After Easter Monday we managed to find parking in the nearby streets behind the house. We really enjoyed our stay at Saint Seriol and would definitely return, especially as our 7yr old grandson has discovered his favourite pastime of crabbing from the pier!

It had everything you need and location was great.

Loved the house, situation, (expecially window seat view).

Plenty of space in kitchen, 2 lounge areas and dining area choices. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Great hall area for leaving beach furniture, shoes and coats. Main down side was the cleaning, expecially considering we couldn't get into house until 5pm and had to leave by 9am on departure, giving 8 hours cleaning time between guests. We had to brush and mop kitchen floor, clean food remains from freezer. Outside area had not been swept at all and had a huge pile of banana tree palms completely covering ground which we had to push to one side as there were too many to bin. Stairs had not been hoovered and shower floor was full of hairs that had been mopped over, bath was very grimey. It's a beautiful house with old but lovely furniture. You're either not employing enough cleaners or they are not doing their job properly. Thought check in and out times were a bit ridiculous as you pay for 1 week and only get 6 days. We left mid day on Friday as no way 8 people could organise being out for 9am Saturday. Still, we loved the house and Beaumaris and had a lovely family holiday for my 70th birthday.

This was an absolutely lovely house.

Tons of space with comfortable furnishings and beautiful views of the Menai Straits, it was located very handily on Castle Street. A great base for a two week exploration of Anglesey.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the house spacious and comfortable, One disadvantage was the low beams in parts of the house which frequently troubled all the men who were over 6 ft tall.

I would be very happy to book again in the future.

Fault with plumbing first day,could not contact owner had to go through cleaner.

Promised plumber next day ,no sign of plumber all week.Television in lounge not working could not contact owners again.No tea bags,coffee,sugar or bin bags,which we normally get at other properties. We have used your properties at least twice a year for the last 5 years and have never complained before.

Wonderful house, but need to be able to regulate heating and turn off!

Some bedrooms too hot, leaving owner with unnecessary high costs! Small leakage bathroom towel rail needs to be dealt with, otherwise fantastic!

Great house plenty of space for all the family Kitchen well stocked with everything you need , if you like reading you can’t go wrong for books ,games for kids everywhere and for me having Liverpool arms right next door was fantastic great beer great food no need for taxis

Very spacious, cosy and well equipped property.

It was our first stay at Sant Seriol and we all enjoyed it so much we have already booked to return next year. What better recommendation than that?

Brilliant house, totally well equipped great central position.

Parking is not an issue the walk to the car park is a joy. Perfect for multi generational families

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location.

Lovely big airy rooms with charm and decor that suited the house.Super kitchen/diner/lounge backing onto a private courtyard which was lovely to cook and eat in. A downstairs morning room as well as an upstairs lounge with beautiful waterfront views. Shops, restaurants and Menai straits on the doorstep.We loved it and will definitely book again!

Our 3rd or 4th stay (we're still arguing about this) at this property and it has never let us down.

Clean, spacious and in a great location. The conservatory door lock does need sorting though and WiFi extender wouldn't go amiss. None of these effected our enjoyment of the property and our stay.

We had a great weekend the property is in a great position and very well equipped beds are really comfortable fresh linen and towels a bathroom on every floor baeumaris is loverly with nice places to eat and drink

This was our second stay here, is a lovely property, big kitchen and living room, lots of space for the 5 of us that stayed.

Very central for all that Beaumaris has to offer, though there is no parking we usually found a space in one of the side streets.

House is well located in the town, with a partial sea view.

The house is spacious & well maintained with good matresses to the beds. Despite being next to a pub, we heard no noise from it, and slept well. There is no street parking to the front, and instead we parked a few hundred yards away for free, and walked back. We were asked to put out the waste bin for collection during the week, It wasn't emptied - so the properrty owner might want to check they are not being charged for collections not made.

We are sorry to say that the increased cleaning apparently put in place during the current issues do not appear to have taken place.

The kitchen floor was in need of mopping, the microwave glass turntable was dirty and required cleaning, the glass hob was also dirty and the sinks in the downstairs coalition and ensuite both needed cleaning. Considering you now expect guests to check out at 9:00, and check in after 17:00hrs it seems who carry to say the least. Overall the property was nice, just a pity that these issues should even need reporting.

The only issue and it was quite a biggy for us having 3 cars.

No parking! The add did not mention this. There was only one car park which was quite a walk away. Parking for the week was £30 per car. We asked around and other holiday homes pay for a seasonal car parking pass which they pass on to there customers. Something to ponder.

I loved this big house.

Plenty of space but still homely. Very comfortable and well equipped.
