Fantastic holiday in a beautiful home with an amazing setting.

Comfortable for our group and didn’t want to leave. It was fairly disappointing that we lost some things at the property and they still have not been returned to us.

Bryn y Don house & garden is an amazing space.

The views from the upstairs lounge are spectacular! For 2 generations, 5 adults & 3 grandchildren, the space, although quite quirky, fitted us really well. Invaluable large fridge and store cupboard too. The nearby owners meant all our questions were answered quickly. Thank you ..

We had a fantastic stay at Bryn y Don, the house was beautiful, with a well stocked kitchen and stunning views of the beach from the upstairs living room!

Bedrooms were all very comfortable and the whole house was spotlessly clean. The beach and local restaurants and shops were within easy walking distance, even for me who is currently on crutches! Highly recommended.

Clean, well stocked, fab location. Views over the sea are lovely too, really nice property. Only downside is the road it is on is very dark and very uneven which I think is dangerous but you can use the light on your phone so it wouldn’t put me off

We stayed here with our family and absolutely loved it, The house is super spacious and has everything you can think of, you really don’t need to step outside to have a great time.

Our kids had an amazing time, and we felt totally safe even with our little ones running around. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, loads of pans and cutlery, cooking was so easy. The host was so friendly, professional, and always nearby if we needed any help. Such a perfect family getaway , we’ll definitely be back

House is fab with everything you need. The hot tub is brill with great views over to Benllech beach. Owners were so helpful and told us loads of interesting new place to vist. We will be back x

We had a wonderful stay at Bryn y Don.

The house was spotless and well provisioned. One of my friends who is a brilliant cook said it was the best holiday let kitchen she had cooked in - and was particularly impressed with the pasta saucepan which could actually cook enough pasta for a large party! Highly recommended.

Comfortable, spacious house in a great position.

Clean, comfortable and spacious house in a good position. Splendid views and nice garden with plenty of furniture and hot tub. Good shops, pubs and restaurants a short walk away. Main TV in lounge was inadequate, with a permanent purple cast to the colour, poor viewing from side angles (only one sofa has a good view), and unclear sound. Mini grand piano was welcome but unfortunately badly out of tune. Wifi signal was good throughout. Hot tub was running permanently with no way to switch it off, which seems very wasteful (and slightly noisy)

Walking distance to shops, pubs, and restaurants. View from garden/living room is amazing. Really enjoyed our holiday.

Our food delivery arrived before we got to the house at 4.30pm, and the owners very kindly took in in for us and put it all away. Our family of 11 had plenty of room to enjoy themselves without being on top of each other. The kitchen was very well equipped and as we did a lot of cooking/baking it was appreciated. The house was spotless from top to bottom. We loved the location, only minutes from the beach which Cooper our dog couldn't get enough of. The hot tub got used by us all (at different times!!) We all felt at home and very comfortable the whole week. We would love to come back next year. Thank you.

Excellent location, very clean and very well equipped.

Probably the best equipped kitchen we have experienced anywhere. The hot tub was a very enjoyable feature - we used it every day. The only addition we would have welcomed was a tumble drier. We would be very happy to return to this property, and may well do so.

We hired the big house and the adjacent annex and had a fabulous family holiday. The children loved the garden and the adults the hot tub. So close to the beach and lovely town with plenty of amenities. Loved Anglesey will definitely return and recommend. Thank you

We had a wonderful week great location amazing beach.

The house was very well set up and the upstairs lounge is fabulous. The only flaw was no cereal bowls except plastic ones, although the children loved the ones with straws! The biggest downfall was that we only had a week!

Outstanding property.

Perfect for our family group of 13. The owners were friendly and welcoming and easy to contact if needed. Benllech is beautiful and the village and beach were just a short .

The property was perfect.

The 5pm arrival time and 10am departure time meant our 5 day holiday was only 3 and we all felt short changed. Even though only an hour or 2 different from the norm it felt not good Noted an outside sign advising concealed CCTV monitoring which wasn't appreciated.

As a family of 10 adults & 3 toddlers celebrating my 60th birthday, the cottage had everything you needed it was spotless,the views were fantastic & in walking distance to beach shops & pub .

Clean, comfortable & well equipped with good views.

The owner is helpful & friendly. Only small issue was that our dog did manage to escape through the hedge in the enclosed garden. Highly recommended and we hope to visit again.

Beautiful house and fabulous garden.

The house was clean, very comfortable and the kitchen was really well stocked with utensils, crockery and pots. The view was spectacular from the garden and lounge. The house is situated in a great location, as it is tucked away down a little lane but is still also accessible to local amenities and a fabulous beach. The owners were friendly and very cooperative. We had a fantastic family holiday in Bryn y Don.

We had a fantastic holiday staying at Bryn y Don, creating new memories and reliving old.

The property has everything you need and caters perfectly for large families. Our group was a family of seven, over four generations, and a dog. The property gave us plenty of space and comfort to relax and unwind - our granddaughter especially loved the piano. The views are amazing watching the tides at Benllech bay . The garden is beautiful and a great size for our granddaughter and dog to run around and play. The hot tub was an added luxury to enjoy at the end of the day. There's plenty of instructions for using the hot tub and recycling etc. The owner lives close by and popped over to introduce herself and was so friendly and welcoming. The property is large but homely and we will definitely be booking again, we can't wait to return. We cannot recommend this property highly enough, a true home from home.

Comfortable house ans bedrooms, spacious kitchen table, accommodating 13 of us with ease, in well equipped kitchen

We were delighted to see a piano in the photograph of the lounge.

We would have liked it to be more in tune and the sustaining pedal to have worked. We would have liked to find a jigsaw or two for rainy days, but we remedied this by visiting the charity shop in the village. we had an enjoyable holiday.

The property itself was as expected, well equipped, clean and spacious there were some minor problems within the house but nothing we couldn't work around.

The big negative was, as in a previous review the garden is NOT secure for a dog as we discovered on our second day, the gaps are not easy to see which is why we didn't find them until she disappeared BUT the gaps are large enough that my son in law was able to follow her through!! This meant that we couldn't allow her in the garden off the lead which impacted the holiday greatly she's a large dog and not having any freedom for 5 days caused problems. One of the major considerations when we booked was a secure garden so to discover it wasn't was awful, especially as a bit of additional fencing could solve the issue. The other disappointment was what is a stunning view is massively obscured by a very large unattractive building in the neighbouring caravan park.

Brilliant week, very comfortable, had everything we needed.

Only negative was the holes along the hedge on the left hand side of the garden so we weren't comfortable letting the dog out in case he wandered off!

Property and facilities were excellent garden was immaculate the week overall was great.

What a fantastic holiday home 10 of us plus dog all had a brilliant time Great location for visiting surrounding areas Thoroughly recommend it.

The only failing if you can call it that was the French doors in the upstairs living room, unable to open them as had children on holiday and there was no balcony or barrier to stop children falling onto the patio below, would only use if an all adult group.

It was a great house for a family get together and worked well for a large family group. We loved the views, hot tub, great bedrooms and social spaces for chat, games. We also found it a handy location near great beaches. The owners were extremely helpful and made our stay very easy. We look forward to our next visit.

Lovely big house, felt like home as soon as you got there.

Plenty of space. Kitchen had everything you need to cater for 9 adults and 3 children. Christmas tree and lights even provided. Views of the beach fabulous, even in the rain. Can't fault the place. Would definitely go back.

A great cottage with ideal facilities for a group or family.

Would like to see towels included and one oven was not functioning. Would definitely stay there again.

Eight of us came to this beautiful cottage and it was dark when we got there.

We had a very comfortable evening and enjoyed the warmth and facilities. What a lovely view to wake up to in the morning! We had a wonderful day walking on the beach and exploring Molfre. We finished our weekend by having a meal at the Ship Inn and the food was very good. We will definitely come again.

We had a lovely family break spanning 4 generations.

Plenty of cutlery and crockery to cater for a large family gathering. Beautiful views from the property of the beach and sea which we walked to every day. Ideal position for relaxation or exploring more of the island.

A lovely spacious house with fantastic views across the bay.

Very well stocked kitchen, a good range of bedrooms to suit us all. Outside a great space, enclosed garden for the dog, terrace with seating and of course a wonderful hot tub!!! Thank you Carol and Gareth for superb accommodation. The 5 year old grandson even offered to use all his pocket money so we could live there forever!!

This was a fantastic property to stay in, we were stunned by the accommodation and all the facilities there.

Our party consisted of several babies, children, mums, dads and grandparents. We had an amazing stay, there was nothing that could be improved upon. The property itself was very roomy, clean, tidy with plenty of equipment, from white goods to cutlery! The owners were amazing too and provided everything we needed even at the last minute, our 12 month old had just started walking and there was an urgency for a stair gate which was provided at a few hours notice. Fabulous outdoor space too with stunning views over Benllech Bay. We cannot thank you enough for providing such a perfect holiday home for us all.

The hot tub was an added bonus and the views over Benllech Bay were gorgeous. Owners were close by should you need help with anything (which we didn’t) . Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, carefree stay.

Very easy to find from the instructions. Accommodation was spotlessly clean. Excellently equip with plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. Lovely private outside area with amazing easy to use hot tub. Definitely recommend. 5 star rating.

Have just spent a week at this property with friends.

I have to say that the pictures do not do it justice it is even better. After we arrived the owners came over to introduce themselves and give us information regarding the hot tub etc. They were lovely and friendly and their numbers are available if you need to contact them during your stay. We didn’t need to as everything was perfect. We were very lucky with the weather so our favourite spot was in the hot tub overlooking the beach. The garden area is a sun trap and very quiet and private perfect for relaxing with friends and family. I must also empathise that this property was immaculately clean. Thank you to Gareth and Carol for letting us stay in your fabulous house.

The house was absolutely perfect for me and my family.

Good size rooms and comfortable living areas. Bedrooms were spacious. The location was fabulous overlooking the beach with shops pubs and restaurants nearby.

When we arrived there was a lot of dog hairs throughout the house, it actually looked as if it hadn’t been brushed or vacuumed in the two en suite bedrooms.

There were dirty plates, cups, glasses and cutlery in the cupboards and drawers which I’m assuming the previous guests had put away without washing. Due to the covid pandemic and two of our party being in the highly vulnerable category, we decided that we couldn’t take any risks and washed every item in the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen before we even unpacked. There were a lot of complaints from the users of single beds that they were very uncomfortable. The shower in the upstairs bathroom didn’t work very well at all and we ended up having to use the shower in the upstairs en-suite. The washing machine leaks on any cycle other than a quick wash. There were no instructions left on how to use the hot tub nor checking out procedures which I had to message the owners about.

We had a fantastic family holiday in this lovely large house and also hired the smaller house next door enabling 16 of us and 1 dog to holiday together.

Great big lovely kitchen with everything we needed, a large garden and all the bedrooms were a good size too. Gorgeous view of the bay from the large upstairs lounge and partial beach view from the kitchen and garden. Hot tub was a bonus kids loved it and the only extra we would have appreciated would have been a bbq! Location was in the centre of Benllech close to shops, beach, takeaways and a pub. Plenty to do on the island to keep us busy in all weathers. Owners were close by, friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend to large family groups. Hope to return again one day.

Bryn y Don was the perfect accommodation for a multi-generational family gathering ranging from 3 to 76 years!

The main house was spacious, sparkling clean and well appointed throughout. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and crockery, pans and utensils etc were of a high quality. We also rented the "cottage" which together with the main house gave us a sleeping capacity of 16. The two accommodations allowed us additional space and it was easy and safe for the younger members of the family to move between the two properties. The sea views from the kitchen of the main house and lounge were delightful. We had 5 cars in total and all the cars could park outside of the two properties. The hot tub was a great success by all members of the family as was football in the garden!! The Owners were most helpful and pleasant throughout our stay, but were not intrusive in any way. Suffice to say.......when we next have a family celebration or a Boris staycation is required......we would be delighted to book Bryn y Don again.

The house was extremely clean and airy. We particularly liked gathering in the kitchen with its large table and there was plenty of space around the cooking area. Much fun was had relaxing in the hot tub, even in the rain. In a quiet location with a sea view, but near to shops and restaurants. Ideal!

the hot tub was brilliant. Garden was very good to sit back relax and look at the sea & beach the only sound was birds tweeting. Very clean and very well equipped. The location was perfect for visiting The Isle of Anglesey and Snowdonia and we all had a fantastic time.

Has everything you need and more to enjoy your stay. Owners popped up at the start to introduce themselves and let us know a few things about the house and area and that was it. Left us to enjoy the house and our holiday. Would recommend and would go back in the future.

The property was very well equipped and prepared for our visit. The owners are very accommodating and communication before and during our stay was excellent. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Although not my bag, most of the rest of the family made good use of the hot tub, and the garden was great for the grand children. Loved the whole thing. Five star, ten out of ten.

A great family get together in a lovely spacious homely house with everything we needed and more

Booked for family gathering for dad's 80th birthday an it was perfect.

We all really loved it an didn't want to go home. House was lovely , well equipped, loads of space for us all to eat together , rooms were fab an great view out to the coast. Hot tub was a great hit with everyone, especially as you had such a lovely view while in it . Owners were fab , close at hand if you needed them but didn't intrude . Will definitely book again an try in the summer months so can enjoy the patio an garden area more.

Lots of space and plenty of bathrooms! Very clean with everything you will need and quality, comfy furnishings.We loved the garden which was safe for the children to play and the large kitchen dining area was great. Lovely views of the beach and sea from the house to enjoy too. The house is in a great location. Not far from the beach which you can walk to or drive and park just opposite the beach. Its just a short walk to pubs shops and restaurants in Benllech. Great location to explore Anglesey from.

The house was exceptional.

Lovely and clean. Lots of space and the rooms were very comfortable. We especially liked the large kitchen to all gather in. The garden was well maintained and the hot tub just meant the holiday was even better than we could have imagined. We will definitely be visiting again.

Bryn y Don is the perfect setting for a great family break.

The house is well situated. We loved being so close to the beach and seeing the sea from the house and garden was wonderful. The house is spacious and fitted our three families in perfectly. Definitely recommend!

The kitchen was amazingly well equipped with excellent quality utensils and equipment. The couple who rent this are very welcoming and helpful they are just across the way, they are not intrusive in anyway at all. A wonderful, clean, spacious and very inviting house.

The kitchen is very well equipped and perfect for a large gathering. We particularly liked the outside area with the large patio and hot tub. It was a ideal for us to relax, dine, play games on the lawn, and enjoy the lovely views across the bay.

Great cottage, has everything you need in the kitchen, loads of space, and a great location with a pub and shop 2 mins walk away and Red Wharf Bay only 5 mins drive.

Owners were great and explained all appliances inc hot tub etc on arrival. We had a great break (3 adults, 1 baby, 1 toddler) and there is plenty to do within 15 mins drive. Highly recommended!
