Beautiful throughout, very modern and clean.

The most amazing hot tub, that we all lived in. Lovely location near Benllech beach. We will definitely book again soon!

The Internet went down half way through the holiday and we could not get any response from housekeeping.

We contacted the owner after a couple of days and he did get the internet fixed Could do with some basics like salt, pepper and vinegar, but not a deal breaker. It was very clean and comfortable though.

Really enjoyed our break at Hunters Cottage.

Highly recommend due to large size of house (2 adults and 2 teens and 2 dogs), great garden, hot tub and bbq. Great off road parking, quiet setting and near enough location to walk to centre. Owners were lovely - sounds silly but we loved having the stair gates for the dogs! Will be booking again x

We stayed for a 21st and 30th birthday as a family with an age range from 1-84 We couldn’t of asked for a better experience it was clean and a great location We originally booked as we was going to zip world but it was perfect for all other activities , walking distance from the beech and shops close by Everything was clean and hot tub was perfect Would recommend to everyone to stay here

The cottage is a nice place.

In a good location, there were 6 of us. Grandparents, parents and two grandchildren. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was great. The main problem was no wifi. There were very few tv channels, maybe 3. I wanted to do some work, but with no wifi, this wasn't possible. The host said it was to do with BT not connecting the Island. I thought that was a bit strange. The host didn't seem bothered we had no connection. It was a problem for us.

Lovely stay here would highly recommend.

Well equipped kitchen and the hot tub was very clean. Will definitely be returning.

A lovely property .

very well presented and some really nice touches. The bathrobes for the hot tub were especially appreciated. Lovely coffee machine and a good supply of pods. The fire was easy to use and a good supply of logs which was great for winter.The property was very clean and tidy and has everything you need for your stay. It's a 15min walk down hill to the beach and uphill back . A sea view from one of the bedrooms is nice. We personally found the bar stools a little uncomfortable as only 1side as an overhang for legs .the dinning table in the lounge was fine just needed moving it out to use but was perfectly acceptable. Plenty of TV s we only used the lounge one which had netflix etc and was a smart TV so no issues finding something to watch . The cottage is set within a small area with 2other properties so doesn't have the best view but the hot tub was very private and a nice luxury at the end of the day it was a good quality hot tub. We personally found the beds a little uncomfortable only in that they were double rather than king-size the ensuite was great and the showers. It's a great property and we had a fantastic time

We went for a little festive break, 2 families including 4 children.

We had a fantastic time, lots of space, the children loved the hot tub, great location too. We would love to make it an annual visit

Great location,close to restaurants and beach.

Car parking for two large cars. Spacious property suitable for 6 people. Hot tub was great. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired…needs a good clean. We had to clean grill tray etc before use. Fridge and freezer filthy needed to wipe it out before use. Splash back in family bathroom still had toothpaste on it. Lots of dust n cobwebs. Bedding had small curly dog hairs on it which showed up well on white duvets.along with a dirty paw mark on one of the singles! Think from viewing nearby property most of the cleaners time is spent doing the hot tubs!which was clean and well maintained. House needs a maintenance man visit broken plug seals,loose taps,under sink pipe dripping,toilet roll holders please. Curtains need attention in one bedroom,so thin and security light shining through all night. Veranda doors need looking at,stormy weather not great blowing straight through! Despite all of the above we didn’t let it spoil our stay.

A well maintained house with everything you needed, lovely comfortable beds, parking in front of the house only became difficult when the other houses had several cars.

The directions to the property given by the owner were good if coming in that direction however if coming the other way the lack of signage made it difficult to find especially when the postcode didn't appear to take you actually to the property. We can recommend this property especially good if you have a dog because of the enclosed garden.

Lovely big house, had everything we needed.

Great location for walking to the beach and surrounding shops. Negative - mattress’s and pillows need upgrading as not good nights sleep also the security lights on big building at back were on and off all night making the bedrooms light up so very disturbed sleep, Perhaps thicker curtains would have had helped.

I book a cottage for myself and sisters and cousins each yr for us to relax and catch up away from family, work and everyday life for a couple of days this cottage is beautiful it is in easy walk to plenty of amenities, beach , take away and pubs and also Tesco express it is very well maintained and has everything in .

I had a small problem with bed seatee it had dog hair on easy fixed with quick hoover that is provided I found a leak under kitchen sink the pipe just needed tightening no need to call anyone no big deal as it can happen anywhere I would definitely book this again .my sister has recommending this to her daughter as she has two small children and it would be fantastic for them with the safety gates

The location us excellent, walking distance to shops, pubs, places to eat and takeaways. The beach is also in walkable distance. We will definitely be back there again.

Hunters Cottage is a beautiful building, we had a lovely stay in Benllech.

All of the rooms were a good size, there was lots of garden furniture available and the en suite bathroom was beautiful. However, as previous reviews have suggested the cleanliness is satisfactory. We arrived to carpets and floors that hadn’t been vacuumed, muddy footprints in the kitchen and shards of glass in the lounge and the garden which is very dangerous with a crawling baby, toddler and a dog! Cleaning as soon as you arrive on your holiday isn’t ideal. The house is in desperate need of a deep clean and ‘touch up work’ to be done to paintwork and then it would be a 5* stay!

The rooms at the cottage are ok but as others have noted there is some tlc required and updating.

The bad drain smell has also been mentioned before and clearly has not been addressed. The kitchen in particular has a terrible smell at times, noticeably when using the dishwasher. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Broken glass was found on the lounge floor and more on a table in the garden - very dangerous with children and pet dog staying. Dust and cobwebs in several indoor places. The covers for the garden furniture were a disgrace - some were left outside instead of put away and were wet. Some of those in the garden storage box were smeared with bird poo, not drops of poo but smeared across the cushions. Other thoughts, the double bedroom non en-suite needs a blackout curtain, not only for daylight shining in early morning but because the next door property has a security light popping on frequently throughout the night. Finally please put a mirror in the bathroom.

The location is perfect.

The house its self needs a little bit of work. The garden needs the weeds removing, and just general wear and tear. We could smells drains where we first walked in and when using the main bathroom shower, so we then chose to use the en suite, only thing with that is that we had a leak from the en-suite shower down into the kitchen. Not ideal to be honest. We messaged the numbers to let them know and we still havnt had a message back (messged on the Thursday, it’s now Sunday). Hunters Cottage is pretty booked up now so that leak will continue to happen over and over again unless it’s fixed. You get everything you need with in the house it’s self and is in walking distance to the local pub/fish and chip shop/tescos. We drove to the beach and red wharf bay (5mins/10mins) both beautiful. The house needs a bit of tlc in our opinion. But we did have a great stay in spite of these issues.

Blackout curtains in the bedrooms would be appreciated Missing tap handle in family bathroom Full length mirror would be nice Otherwise an excellent property, this was our second stay!

We had a lovely stay at hunters cottage.

It's in a great location. The hot tub is lovely and really handy that its uncover for any weather. Generally the facilities are good. However some parts of the house could do with some maintenance. The Gas bbq was in very poor condition which was a shame as its clearly a decent one and a nice touch to have but it was very rusty inside and not clean. The hot tub cover is worn and starting to break in middle so was leaving gaps. On the the second day we could smell the drains in kitchen/down stairs which became unpleasant. In the main bedroom the curtains could do with being black out as the neighbouring property has a security light that kept coming on and shinning through. It would be nice to have a small welcome pack on arrival as most other places we've stayed at provide one which is a nice touch. The log burner is great and wood provided. With a little more maintenance and some upgrades the property would be excellent as it's over all a nice cottage to stay in.

We loved Angelsey and would holiday there again.

The location of the house was excellent and well situated to visit most things and the beach there was one of the nicest we visited. The house has the making of a great property and the hot tub was well used, but the house is in need of some TLC. There are some issues that need attention some of which we reported during our stay, in our opinion the house would benefit from some redecoration in places. There is the smell of drains in the main bathroom which was not pleasant. We also found the mattresses very firm and really uncomfortable which for us affected our break as we couldn’t get good quality sleep. For these reasons this would mean we wouldn’t use this property again.

Lovely large modern high quality family cottage.

All amenities well thought out. Spotlessly clean. Hot tub was enjoyed by all the family, and our dog had plenty of space in the house and secure garden. Kids are asking me to book again!

A lovely stay… in a lovely cottage.

. The only feedback I would give is that there were no matches for the log burner… And more loo paper would be appreciated!

We have stayed previously at Meadow View and this time at Hunters Cottage - everything was perfect from the house, hot tub, amenities etc to the surroundings, beaches, walks etc - will hopefully be back !

Our stay here was wonderful.

We didn’t know until we got there that it has a wonderful sea view from the upstairs balcony windows. That was only made better by the visibility of the northern lights during our stay. What a treat! Very well equipped, clean and comfy holiday home with the added luxury of a hot tub and very helpful outside shower. Washer dryer was great. Plenty of toilets for a large family to share. Ideally located for exploring the area too. Look out for the sign on the right saying Ponty Pandy holiday cottages and you have found it! Parking right outside the front door. Nice quiet location with lovely views. Can’t fault it at all.

The house is lovely although the living room is very dark and masculine, needs to have a lighter decor, black sofa, black chairs and table cloth , black wallpaper, black coffee table, all too much , please lighten it

Hunters cottage was excellent in every aspect.

It was clean, well furnished, very well equipped too. Benllech is a lovely place with a fabulous beach, great for early morning walks with our two dogs. Dog friendly pubs serving good food are only a short walk away. We certainly will be looking to book again.

The facilities within the house were all as described and made our stay a pleasure. Have recommended this property to our extended family.

Great facilities and house was spotless.

Only gripe was the garden looked untidy due to weeds. Can’t fault the interior. Would certainly stay there again.

It would be good to list on the website what facilities are/aren’t provided.

For example it doesn’t state the tea/coffee/sugar are provided but shower gel and soap aren’t….

Property was beautiful and clean and well equipped.

Close to amenities and the beach for long coastal walks. Would have been nice to have had some cleaning products available such as dish liquid etc, on arrival. Overall a great stay and recommended.

When we arrived the main bedroom was soaked the French door was open a little, we moved to another house, when we showered water poured through the ceiling, we advised but did not want to move again as we were only here for 4 days to relax.

I have rang asking for compensation and nobody has got back to me

Excellent cottage with excellent facilities.

Loved the space for everyone, didn’t feel crowded with 6 people. The owner was very amenable and responded to texts immediately. Very close to amenities including cafes that allowed dogs

We had a fantastic time at Hunters Cottage.

We found the house very clean and had everything you need for a relaxing break. The log fire was perfect for those cold, winter nights and heated the whole house. Plenty of fire wood was provided. The hot tub was huge and the roof kept the rain off. Unlike other reviews, we found it hot and clean. The kitchen had all the amenities. There was a TV in the lounge, kitchen and every bedroom with freeview and netflix. Prime was also accessible if you have an account. We were also able to access a TV port to plug in our PS5. Poppy (our elderly boxer dog) was allowed full roam of the house which was much appreciated and made the break much more relaxing as we didn't have to worry where she was and she could do what she normally does. The games cupboard was very thoughtful and gave us a night of laughter. Benllach was a perfect base to explore Anglesey.

would of been nice if hottub was cleaned midweek as it was a bit smelly towards the end..would definitely stay here again and refreshing that it's so dog friendly and not just part dog friendly.so thank you for a lovely week

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean. The hot tub is an excellent added bonus and was very well used. Showers are also excellent (including the outdoor by the hot tub) It's position is perfect for walking into Benllech or travelling around the island. 4* instead of 5 is only because upstairs was a little small for us--which to be fair is mentioned in the details. The car park was also a bit tight when full of cars for all 3 cottages .

Excellent facilities Very accommodating host Couldn’t find the fire starter pack, but it didn’t spoil our stay 2nd time at these properties and we will be back

The cottage has everything you need for you holiday. Home from home.

Hunters cottage is a lovely property, however, some things need sorting out.

No chopping boards in the house. Knives all need sharpening or leave a sharpener in the house. Smoke alarms directly above your head as you lay in bed.

Excellent stay at Hunters Cottage.

The property is within easy walking distance to the beach or less than 10 mins drive away from other beaches if you want to try somewhere different. The beaches are nearly all dog friendly and also most of the local restaurants - some will allow dogs inside and some outside only. There is an abundance of great take aways and also supermarkets. The Cottage was very clean and has everything you need and the hot tub was also great for relaxing. Would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely go again.

Good welcome pack and spotlessly clean - all credit to the housekeeping team! Beds are really comfortable and all facilities well catered for. We had a really enjoyable stay and the garden area and hot tub area were really secure for our dog. Would recommend Finney's Fish & Chips and Pebbles Bistro. Would recommend to friends & family.

Incredible house, beautiful location, has everything you could want as a everyday home for cooking (kitchen utensils, pots, pans etc).

Plenty of information with the hot tub, so we knew how to safely use! Would highly recommend Ynys Llanddwyn as a visit & South stack lighthouse. My only additional wish is that the TV has a spare hdmi cable to plug into our devices :) we had a hdmi but couldn't get at the ports on the back. Thank you for the amazing stay! We will be back!

Outside lighting needs improvement.

Very little light coming around the hot tub. Would also prefer a higher temperature on the hot tub, 37 is normally the temp I would get out at.

Great property in a great location, hot tub was great after a longwalk onthe beach with the dog.

The location was good and there was a fantastic beach and great local facilities - take aways, convenience stores and restaurants just a short walk away. The house was clean, warm, well equipped with ample parking.

The house is absolutely superb!

Warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. The beach, cafés and the pub is within walking distance. Lots of other walks are available, we walked to Red Warfe Bay which is about 2 miles away. The hot tub is a welcome treat after the end of a long walk. We will recommend this property to our friends.

Fantastic place to stay and during a long heatwave we could not have timed it better.

The property has everything you need and is very secure for your 4 legged friends. The only 2 gripes I do have, 1. Bedroom curtains are too thin and there is a static caravan out the front which leaves the porch light on all night which shines straight into the bedroom, so didn’t get much sleep all week! 2. The hot tub was used all week, day and night by the kids and at no point did anyone call around to do a PH test and top up the chlorine levels, by the 5th day the water started to smell a bit stagnant and had a green look to it, so we stopped using it, other places we have stayed called around every couple of days to test the water or had a floating chlorine device which stopped in there when not in use, you could also not adjust the temperature, so was made to use it at 37deg which I have read up on and this is a standby temperature when you are away! I like a hot tub

Situated in a small Cul De Sac with 2 other similar properties.

wonderful location. Benllech is well situated for getting about the island & the small town itself isn't short of grocery shops, bars/pubs/restaurants/cafe's/ takeaways. Small bakery has lovely bread. Great beach for warmer days. - Also visit RedWwharf Bay & Moelfre. Both a short drive away. Lovely places. Not a lot there but great for walking your dog & having a relaxing coffee and/or ice cream. The property itself was fantastic. Very roomy. Garden fully enclosed to keep your pets safe. Plenty of outdoor furniture & of course the hot tub. Underused by us as we were there during July's heatwave!!!! Wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend

Great facilities and great location.

Would definitely stay here again. Would like to see blackout blinds/curtains in the bedrooms though as it gets really light, very early in the summer months making sleeping difficult.

The cottage was absolutely lovely and we all agreed that the pictures don’t do it justice.

There’s another downstairs bathroom not pictured and it was overall much better than we expected! The washer/dryer washed clothes but didn’t dry them well, which was a shame as the weather wasn’t the best so we couldn’t use the washing line outside and had to use radiators. The hot tub and fire were amazing and there was plenty to do without leaving the house, everything we needed was close by (definitely recommend Finney’s chippy!) All 5 of us had such a good time, thank you so much x

Like a home from home. I had communication with the owner and they were really helpful and responsive. The hot tub was the cherry on top. Will definitely be booking again to stay in Hunters cottage. Thank you for such a great time.

We travelled as a group of 6 for our friends 30th birthday.

We had a fab weekend at Hunters Cottage. Only criticism I have is there are only 4 barstools in the kitchen. There is a lovely island with barstools which is great for socialising, however 2 of us had to stand due to not being enough chairs. Hot tub is lovely and warm - even during the storm Arwen. We did have a slight issue with this (too clean - would you believe it!) but this was quickly rectified. Great location. Shop, cafe and pub a 1 minute drive / 5 minute walk away. 10/10 would recommend. We’ll be back! :-)

The property was modern and very spacious,sat in a good location,eventhough parking for individual houses could be better,but on the whole we throughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommended.

The house was lovely!

Very spacious and clean. The beds were really comfortable and the facilities were good as well. The maintenance man was really lovely, the WiFi was down across all three of the houses and he was straight on the case sorting things out. There was plenty of washing up liquid, tea coffee and even milk and chocolates left for us! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you

Such a beautiful house but sadly it needs closing for a week to get all the issues fixed.

2 out of 3 TVs upstairs not working Shower in main bathroom leaks so water comes down the wall downstairs Watermarks all over the ceiling En-suite shower a note was left saying not to use because door sticks… no one came out to fix it! Lots of holes that had been filled and left Back garden not a nice space Lounge is comfortable but all the black is not not pleasant General tlc needed at this property and also no welcome pack! Nothing with recommendations on places to go or eat just the little touches that make a holiday more enjoyable. Such a shame because it is a lovely house and we really enjoyed it but also we expect things to be working.

The house was very dirty, you were asked to help rectify the situation and you unfortunately did not assist, we had to leave the property early as we didn’t want to stay in it

We really do not have any complaints about our stay at Hunters Cottage.

The cottage is spacious, modern, comfortable and close to the beach and facilities that Benllech has to offer. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The hot tub was especially fantastic . Thank you for a great holiday!
