    “The location of this property couldn't be beaten.”

    Wonderful walks to several different coves and beaches. The location in general is a short drive from several main visiting spots. The house itself was well maintained. It had additional items such as wind breaks, parasol and board games which are always a win with a young family. The rooms are all brilliant sizes. The only tiny negative for us would be having to provide our own towels. Having to pack beach towels, bath towels and then hand towels, we didn't take into account the number of ...

It had additional items such as wind breaks, parasol and board games which are always a win with a young family. The rooms are all brilliant sizes. The only tiny negative for us would be having to provide our own towels. Having to pack beach towels, bath towels and then hand towels, we didn't take into account the number of sinks so didn't have enough with us! Access was very easy with the key safe. There are steep steps to the property but it's fully warned about on booking and our young family had no problems.

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caernarfon. The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast.
