House was out the way of hustle and bustle of town but not too far from places to visit.

Lovely house and grounds. Plenty of space for large groups. Jackie and Peter were great hosts soon answering any questions we had. Will definitely go there again when we visit Wales again. Hot tub was a hit with children. Having en-suite bathrooms for pretty much all the bedrooms is a big plus with lots of people.

We had a fantastic week

Huge property, exactly as described in the listing with plenty of space for everyone.

We were a multi-generational group aged 21 to 85 and everyone was happy with the space. Grandparents loved the annexe - having a bit of peace and quiet to retreat to! Young ones loved the hot tub and table tennis. Us in the middle enjoyed how clean and spacious it was, the huge kitchen and dining area where everyone could sit down to a meal together and having plenty of quiet bedrooms and bathrooms for a bit of privacy. The kitchen and utility room were well equipped, the only slight improvement we'd suggest would be a couple more frying pans - we struggled a bit with just the one for such a large group. Having said that, we're all very keen on cooking so that wouldn't be a problem for everyone. The area around the house is very quiet and peaceful and we had a couple of lovely walks straight from the house. Great butchers in the village! And only a short drive to plenty of shops.

Our stay at Mount House was amazing.

Jackie & Peter were amazing hosts. We were celebrating my 70th Birthday and had our whole family of 11adults and 4 grandchildren staying with us. The accommodation was perfect and had sufficient excellent en-suites and facilities that made everyone happy and feel at home. The outside granny flat was also a huge plus. One evening we employed a private chef and his comments was also that it was well equipped and most suitable for a formal sit down dinner. We were able to BBQ and eat outside on a number of occasions. The weather played ball and the positioning of Mount House on top of a hill for walks, proximity to the beaches and tourist attractions was a real plus. Fully recommend the Mount House for any large gathering .

Great house for a big family gathering with excellent kitchen equipment and enough space to not be on top of each other. The highlight for the grandchildren was the hot tub !

The accommodation is spacious and comfortable - there was plenty of space to spread out but also come together for meals and socialising. The location is very peaceful.

What a beautiful house, gardens and the gorgeous Lily-Pad cottage in the garden, you are just truly spoilt all round.

The decor of all the rooms are all so thought out. We stayed for a 60th birthday celebration over a weekend and had such an amazing time, we were a family of 18 aged from 6 mths to 82 years old. The games room was brilliant and the hot tub was loved by all. We will definitely return in the future. Jackie and Peter were amazing hosts and made you feel so welcome.

Jackie and Peter are outstanding hosts. They are so kind, accommodating, and attentive to detail. The house and grounds are very spacious, well-maintained, and well-appointed. We were comfortable in our rooms and enjoyed the very large gathering spaces. The grounds are beautiful, private, and secure, and the overall location is absolutely idyllic. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Mount House. We hope to return and stay again.

The Welcome food and drinks left in the fridges were Up Market and had been thoughtfully provided. The Hot Tub is a fantastic feature with all the bells and whistles. The Games room had a table tennis table which everyone enjoyed playing on. There is a windy road leading up to the house which you soon get used to. Plenty of car parking spaces . The Lily Pad annex is a lovely addition to the main house and even has a view of the sea in the distance..We were a group of varying ages from 6 years to 96 years and there are a good variety of different rooms to suit all. A shout out to Jackie and Peter who take enormous pride in ensuring their guests are happy and respond quickly to any issues.

I booked Mount House for my wife's 50th Birthday Weekend so we could celebrate with family and friends.

When we arrived at the house we were met by Jackie the owner who was really welcoming and showed us around her beautiful house. The facilities are excellent and they have thought of absolutely everything you would need , including the lovely welcome pack which along with the basics of milk and butter were some delicious Welsh Cheeses and other treats including two bottles of fizz. They had even gone to the effort of getting a 50th balloon and writing a lovely welcome card. We were also fortunate to drop on great weather for the whole weekend which gave us the opportunity to make full use of the Jacuzzi in the evening, but also some of the great walks around the area. I highly recommend this place. Also the communication from Jackie was spot on and not at all overbearing. Thank You very much from us all.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Mount House celebrating as a family for an 80th birthday.

Jackie and Peter are truly exceptional hosts warm, caring and incredibly thoughtful. From the moment we arrived, we could feel how much love they put into welcoming their guests. The lovely surprises they left for us food, chocolates and drinks were so kind and made our stay feel extra special. The house itself is stunning: beautifully presented, spotless, cosy and very spacious, with plenty of lovely bedrooms for our big family. Every detail is carefully thought out to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. It is without doubt one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed. We’ve just had a fabulous family weekend at The Mount, Jackie & Peter are great hosts, very welcoming & thoughtful with their welcome pack.

Accommodation was perfect for our family get together, from 82 years old to 3 months, the house worked for all of us. Great location, stunning views & a luxury stay, couldn’t have asked for better, we’ll certainly be booking again, thanks again for a lovely stay, The Casey Family xx

Fab stay at Mount House.

The accommodation is perfect for a large group, very spacious and extremely well equipped. The owners were very welcoming and also helpful on the couple of occasions we contacted them. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Me and my family, we stayed at Mouse House for a extended weekend away from Friday to Monday.

Upon arrival Jackie and Peter where wonderful, they showed us around and had even given us a welcome pack filled with snacks and fruit and drinks which Jackie provided us with based on our dietary needs which she asked me about before our arrival. Our whole stay was wonderful, the house was clean and had everything we needed and any time we had an issue or wasn't sure about something, we could text Jackie and she would get back to us fairly quickly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice house for a large group of people (18-20 people). The property is amazing and the owners are a treat to deal with. I know we would definitely love to go back if we decided to go back to that side of Wales in the future.

We had a lovely stay with family and friends for my daughters wedding.

It is an excellent place for family gatherings and would highly recommend a stay. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful and quick to respond when we needed a little advice with the house. Would love to come back in the near future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mount House and can honestly say it exceeded all our expectations.

As a group of 17, we’ve stayed at many properties over the years, but this one truly tops them all. The house itself is immaculate — spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. Jackie and Pete were the perfect hosts, striking the balance between warm and welcoming while giving us the space to enjoy their incredible home. Everything about the property felt thoughtful and well cared for. One of the biggest compliments we can give is that, as a group, we’ve never once talked about returning to a house we’ve booked before — until now. We would come back to Mount House in a heartbeat. The comfort was unmatched; every single one of us said we had the best night’s sleep of our lives. In fact, we were so impressed we even asked Jackie and Pete where they bought their mattresses and pillows! From start to finish, the whole experience was faultless. 10/10 — we couldn’t recommend Mount House more highly.
