    “The cottage was outstanding!”

From views to having everything you'd need. Mrs Jones checked in on us and even left us some goodies ( chilled wine, fudge, cake, fresh eggs and even milk in the fridge!). We had trouble finding the entrance and tried to call but there was no signal in the village, next minute Mrs Jones appeared, so we could follow her back . So thoughtful !! The cottage was extremely comfortable and a lovely size for the five of us. Hot tub spotlessly clean as was everything! we really enjoyed our stay and ...

Tyn Y Celyn Cottages

A trio of extraordinarily well-finished stone-built cottages just outside of Clocaenog in Denbighshire in North Wales. These are three incredible cottages in a superb location. All similar in style with oak-clad walls, ground sourced underfloor heating, exposed wooden beams and brickwork. They all come with well-equipped, modern kitchens and comfortable sitting rooms with large sofas, some of them even electrically reclined. All of the bedrooms are en-suite and have TVs as well as some fantastic features to give these cottages an even more charming feel. The property has an eight-seater hot tub, gym-style wetroom, basin and WC to make this cottage complex just that bit more impressive. The Tyn Y Celyn cottages are nestled in the breathtaking Denbighshire countryside as the properties have panoramic views of the rolling hills. The quirky village of Clocaenog is just a short journey away, a delightful place with a pub and shop, proving to be the perfect base whilst exploring even further. The area of North Wales is brimming with delightful villages and towns waiting to be explored, Ruthin is within a few miles and has all that you need in terms of pubs and shops. Slightly further is the English city of Chester, a beautiful city filled with the best shops, bars and pubs as well as a range of activities. A group of incredible cottages in a terrific location.

About the location

RUTHIN

Llangollen 12 miles; Bala 18.5 miles; Chester 25 miles; Betws-y-Coed 30 miles.

The hilltop town of Ruthin lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The town is picturesque with attractive half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square. There are many interesting shops and buildings, whilst the Nant Clwyd House (the oldest timber frame in Wales), Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, are also worth a visit. Beautiful countryside is on Ruthin’s doorstep with Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest close by. Further afield, but still within easy touring distance, are the coast, Snowdonia National Park and historic Chester.

Please note: No smoking in the property and no shisha- hookah allowed as well. Thank you.
