Bronwen Lodge is fabulous!

The nicest holiday home I have ever stayed in.

Loved the place.

We're thinking of booking again for next year.

A great cottage, good location with lovely view of the castle and harbour, good parking, very clean and well equipped.

We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Conwy.

Overall we had a very good holiday, however, I think the listing should emphasize the long steep hill to the property.

The listing mentions an 'elevated position and a 5 minute walk to the town'. My wife would never have been able to walk up to the lodge and if I'd known about the steep hill I would not have booked the property. There was a lack of any cleaning equipment and materials in the bathroom to allow cleaning the bath after use. The fitting of a grab handle to enable safer entry and exit to and from the bath should be considered.

What a lovely cottage, clean, comfortable, good quality furnishings and kitchen equipment, ideal location, near the town centre but not too near!

And the icing on the cake, lovely garden/patio area for sitting outside and the view is spectacular!

Superb place to stay.

Clean, warm, comfortable and welcoming. The views are amazing and the car parking a bonus. Conwy is a ten minute walk away - but perhaps a little longer back up the hill. We will definitely stay again.

The Lodge is an absolute gem with stunning views overlooking Conwy Castle and the estuary. Inside the Lodge is very cosy and comfortable with plenty of room for 2 people. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Loved the outdoor space and the quirky artwork inside.

We had a wonderful holiday on our first visit to North Wales.

The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and we were struck by the picturesque view overlooking Conwy Castle and green fields.

Our first visit to Conwy, pretty town with lots of pubs, cafes and independent shops.

Bronwen lodge is in a perfect spot, about a 10 minute walk from the town, stunning views from the lodge with a large garden and seating area, would love to return in the warmer months. The lodge itself is cosy, clean and is filled with amazing art and quirky touches. The kitchen area is modern and well equipped, overall a home from home, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It felt so comfortable like you owned your own cottage. Everything was spotless with all the equipment that you needed. The location was fantastic the views were great. Also within short distances to view other locations. Thank you very much to Sykes cottages and Mr Rutherford and family.

What a wonderful setting with an amazing view of the castle.

The property was lovely, very well furnished and tastefully decorated. It was clean and tidy. We had a brilliant stay there and would highly recommend it.

The property was excellent, very clean and with outstanding views of Conwyn Castle.

It had private parking and was only a short walk to the shops, pubs and castle walls. Including to The Albion which was voted the best pub in Wales. It was quiet at night and very well maintained. It also had very good internet connection. We would happily stay here again.

This was our 2nd visit to the lodge, we have also stayed in the cottage 3 times, brilliant view of the castle, great place to stay, peaceful, relaxing and can’t wait to go again…Debbie and Alan

Just returned from a great week at Bronwen lodge .

. everything fabulous and the view just outstanding!! Weather was lovely for the 7 days so that was a plus , unusual for Great Britain !!!Great location for peace / quiet /relaxation . The lodge has impeccable taste and we were wishing we had booked for longer !! Great base for touring and Conwy itself is lovely and interesting. Unfortunately all good things come to an end and we are now back home in Scotland . My first visit to Wales and most impressed . Wanted to re book Bronwen for 2024 but is fully booked !!! ( not surprised!!). Will keep looking tho !!My only tiny gripe would be ( along with a few other reviews ) that a couple more bath towels required ??. Another visit to this excellent, well located property.

Starting to lose count now but definitely back in the Autumn.

The location is perfect and the parking is a real bonus.

However, despite previously drawing the owner’s attention to a few issues, the cottage is still a little disappointing. The main issue is the uncomfortable bed and the really poor quality of the bedding and the towels. Also, the standard of cleanliness and the provision of facilities could be improved. e.g The cutlery was dirty and there were only 3 mismatched wine glasses! The vase of flowers is a nice touch but there is no “welcome” only a small carton of milk which had gone sour. The view from the cottage doesn’t compensate for the lack of attention to detail and unfortunately, we shall probably look elsewhere in future.

Bronwen Lodge is a charming property with outstanding views over the Castle and estuary.

We appreciated the many lovely pictures, interesting books and fresh flowers. It was a real home from home and Conwy is a terrific base for exploring the National Park.

Delighted with this property and its location.

As you approach the front door at Bromwen Lodge you are greeted by a fantastic view of Conwy and Conwy Castle.

This is the same view that you will see from the lounge window throughout your stay. We stayed during the last week of September and found the cottage to be very cosy. It is 10 to 15 minutes walk into Conwy town centre where you will find nice shops and places to eat. We can highly recommend Bromwen Lodge.

Would have been great if we could have controlled the heating a bit more but apart from that wonderful!

Bronwen Lodge provided a comfortable base for our North Wales holiday.

The lodge is furnished to a high standard with some quirky features and the fresh flowers on arrival was a lovely touch. A few more towels would have been appreciated as with no washing machine they could have done with a refresh after a few days. The views are stunning and the location was perfect for us and we would certainly consider again if visiting this area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bronwen Lodge, just a couple of ideas which could improve the accommodation even more: hooks in the bathroom, airing rack for towels.

Absolutely perfect!

The views from the lodge are spectacular. We spent many nights stargazing and enjoying the views. The lodge was really clean and well equipped with everything to make some lovely homemade meals. We really liked the decor and attention to detail (very cosy!) The bed was very comfy, although a throw or blanket for the bed would have been nice as it did get a little bit cold at night time. We had a fantastic holiday and we will definitely be returning soon!!!

As clean and beautifully presented as on previous visits, this is a property to which we are happy to return.

Bronwen Lodge was in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean.

It’s ideally situated giving superb views of Conwy and the castle which we will miss. Parking in Conwy is not easy so having off road parking was a huge bonus. We saw a few times when in the town car’s struggling to parallel park in a tiny space. There’s so much to do in the area, we didn’t even scratch the surface in our week’s stay so will return. When we do we will stay at Bronwen once again without hesitation.

I would have liked a t v in the bedroom.

Also a hot tub would have been nice as there’s room for one under the pergola with an electric point there.

The views are amazing and the lodge was impeccably clean.

We would definitely recommend and look forward to returning. Very comfortable and well equipped.

The cottage is out of this world and the views were amazing.

The attention to detail was second to none. Towels,extra toilet rolls , kitchen towels all things women find important. Definitely recommend and would definitely return.

We found difficulty with rear patio door step which was very high to exit the building.

Otherwise no problems and excellent facilities and position.

This really is an excellent place to stay. The views are tremendous and the property was, once again, perfectly prepared and has great facilities. The only downside of this superb spot is that there is hardly any availability for this year or the next!

Views from property are amazing.

Would have been nice to have seat pads for metal garden chairs. Although it mentioned recycling there were no recycling boxes. Convenient to walk to Conwy although some may find climb back to property a bit steep. Could do with an additional step out to garden side from property. Comfy bed, light and airy accommodation. Very enjoyable.

Our third visit!

Once to cottage and twice to the lodge.This is one of best places we have stayed in.Standards of cleanliness are high.Views are fantastic and the lodge is well equipped.Its very cosy with a log burner and a good selection of books.Walking back from town takes 10/15 minutes but it is uphill.Try the Mulberry at the marina for coffee near Morfa Conwy beach or nearby Bodnant gardens are always a treat.We will be back!!

A superb property and location.

Great views of Conwy Castle and the estuary. Only about 5 minutes walk down into town and perhaps twice as many minutes back up. An instant favourite!

Bronwen Lodge was beautifully furnished with fantastic views of Conwy and the castle.

The location was excellent with lots of interesting places within easy reach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly like to return in the future.

It is as beautiful as the pictures. Especially the view of Conwy and the Castle was breathtaking.

We stayed here last year and this time stayed 2 weeks (June 7th to 21st.

) A fortnight is too long without a washing machine which regretfully means a two week stay will probably be ruled out for next year. Everything else is first class and Mark should be commended for presenting The lodge accordingly. A suggestion. A additional step from lounge to rear seating area would make access a little easier.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Bronwen Lodge .

The cottage was spotlessly clean and so stylish. A lot of effort has been put in with the decor and it elevates the cottage above any others we have stayed in. There is plenty of kitchen equipment to prepare meals, should you wish to and the bed is large and comfortable. The only thing missing is a washing machine, but this is a small quibble. Finally, the view is absolutely spectacular! We would highly recommended Bronwen Lodge.

Bronwen Lodge was lovely and more spacious than we expected, with fabulous views over Conwy castle and the sea.

The outside was also lovely and well maintained, and the quiet and peaceful surroundings suited us. All facilities you would expect were available, from heating to oven to microwave to dishwasher. The only (small) quibble we would have is that the frying pans and the baking trays were in a very poor state, but otherwise we could not fault it and would hope to return before too long.

The cottage is one of the best we have ever stayed in .

The views are outstanding and it has a fabulous art collection and interesting decor. It’s in a great position and an easy walk into Conwy which has many good shops, pubs and cafes.

Bronwen Lodge totally exceeded our expectations.

We have visited Conwy many times though this accommodation and its wonderful location has made our experience most memorable and enjoyable.

It was amazing!! The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything needed for a self catering holiday. The cottage is well equipped and outside seating area is comfortable and with amazing views. I can not recommend this cottage enough. Anyone booking will not be disssapointed!!

Tastefully furnished and well maintained it had a homely feel right from the start. We would definitely reccomend a stay here and would most probably return again in future.

This cottage was abolutely immaculate.

The property had many intriguing artefacts to look at. The layout is well set out and extremely comfortable. The views are magnificent and the outside area was great too. We loved it here and we will definitely return.

My wife and I have just come back from spending a week at Bronwen Lodge with our batteries fully charged.

The lodge is well equipped, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The position of the Lodge, in my opinion could not be bettered, with views to die for, (you have to be there to appreciate the view) and a five minute walk into Conwy. After a day's wandering it felt good knowing we had somewhere to go back to, where we could relax, enjoy a glass of wine and really chill out. Full credit to Mark the owner, he has got this property bang on the nail! We have already booked for next year! so it goes without saying we wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Bronwen Lodge.

Bronwen Lodge is a very nice property ideally situated for the town of Conwy with an exceptional view from its patio of the town, castle and river.

Bronwen Lodge was exactly as described on the website.

We had everything we needed for our weeks stay. My only little critisism is that there was a lack of wardrobe space for us. Some may manage okay. Plenty of other drawer space. Anyway we managed by hanging stuff all over on hooks but not ideal for us as I say. Would definitely return and would certainly recommend the property to others.

Loved the lay out of lodge and the interior design was great.

. the view was great. Overall the lodge was lovely. Would have given top marks but was missing a few little things ie oven gloves, no where to put toiletries when in bath ,could do with a shelf in bathroom for ladies to put makeup. Also we would have liked to meet the owner but he was nowhere to be seen.

Lovely accommodation and great views of Conwy.

Location great because it was only a short walk down to the town and we enjoyed great views in the day and at night. Lodge had every facility that we could want. I was attracted to the lodge in the first place by the photographs on line. It was ideal and with the nice touch of fresh cut flowers. Bright and cheerful. Definitely strongly recommend particularly if you like walking coastal path. Got to know Conwy and really liked it. Maybe we were just lucky but everyone we met in Conwy was friendly. I would love to visit again and would book at Bronwen Lodge.

the photographs do not do the cottage justice and the views are fantastic lovely and warm and as we had to change accommodation at last minute due to issues at our original venue very happy with this choice.

Bronwen Lodge was the perfect place for an escape to beautiful Conwy.

Clean, warm, with a phenomenal view over the town and the estuary - we could have spent days just sitting by the window watching the light change over the castle! But it was also really handy for walks up on the mountain, and for a stroll into town. Thank you!
