Tucked away on the outskirts of the historic market town of Denbigh, Denbighshire, is this stunning three-bedroom limestone former coach house, Ystrad Bach.
Boasting exceptional surroundings within the Vale of Clwyd with exceptional views overlooking open farmland and the Clwydian Range AONB, along with an interior boasting original features perfectly blended with contemporary furnishings, Ystrad Bach is a superb family-friendly dwelling for a group or family of six.
Park-up on the spacious driveway with room for four cars, before being greeted by a large, enclosed garden with all you could need to enjoy warmer days, including a barbecue, pizza oven, fire pit and a bubbling hot tub, where you can indulge in a soak whilst savouring the breath-taking views on offer.
Step into the bespoke fitted kitchen/diner, where you can look forward to whipping up mouth-watering meals with the help of the AGA, double electric oven, and hob, before settling down to enjoy over a celebratory bottle of fizz at the dining table for six.
Just off the kitchen, you will find a handy utility housing a washer/dryer for your convenience.
Continue through to the beautifully-appointed drawing room, which includes a workstation, plush seating, crackling woodburning stove and Smart TV, a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
There is also a generous sitting room, featuring a gorgeous baby grand piano, woodburning stove and Smart TV, sure to be the social hub during your stay.
Completing the ground-floor is a wet room, ideal for freshening up after a day of hiking through the Clwydian Range.
Climb the stairs to the first floor, where you can catch your rest in three well-appointed bedrooms, two king-size, one with en-suite cloakroom, and a twin with zip/link, all of which have amazing views looking out over the surrounding countryside and Clwydian Hills.
In the morning, prepare for the day in style in the stylish bathroom, well-equipped with roll top bath and large double shower, followed by a steaming cup of coffee, courtesy of the Nespresso machine.
Explore the local village, where you can treat your loved ones to a well-deserved meal at the 17th-century converted mill pub and restaurant of Brookhouse Mill, or the welcoming eateries of the White Lion, The Britannia Inn or the popular Con Amici Italian Bar and Kitchen.
There are also well-stocked convenience stores for picking up any essentials.
Wandering through the town, you will find the remarkable Denbigh Castle, the charming Wireless in Wales museum, Denbigh Friary, the excellent Denbigh Golf Club and the Cae Dai 50’s Museum.
Ystrad Bach is conveniently located for accessing a wealth of country walks and scenic footpaths, perfect for those seeking a two-footed adventure whilst taking in the natural surrounding beauty.
Further afield, you will find a hub of activity, including nature trails around the vast Llyn Brenig Reservoir, the Llandegla mountain bike trail, the famous Offa’s Dyke trail, or head to Betws-y-Coed, where you can explore the treetops at Zip World Fforest or delve into history at the Conwy Valley Railway Museum.
For superb beaches, head to the Victorian town of Llandudno, where you can spot the resident seals at Angel Pay, embark up the Great Orme, or venture further into the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park to take on the famous Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Peak.

We had the most wonderful stay at Ystrad Bach.
The property is stunning inside and out . We enjoyed cosy evenings in front of the log burner after a relaxing chill in the hot tub. The beds were so comfortable and towels soft and fluffy, what more could you ask? The kitchen was so well equipped and the Aga made it lovely and toasty when we ate our dinners. We would highly recommend
Ystrad Bach is an absolute gem of a property.
Its location is perfect, out in the peaceful countryside surrounded by amazing scenery, but a walk or short drive from shops and eateries. The house is stunning, beautifully decorated, very clean and superbly comfortable. The kitchen is particularly light and airy with everything you could possibly need. We had a fantastic, warm and sunny week so we used the patio all the time, threw the doors open and wandered in and out. We enjoyed visits to Llandudno (the pier was great fun!), Dyserth waterfall and woodland walk (with hidden caves), Prestatyn beach and also took a ride into Chester that is easily two days worth of sightseeing and shopping (do visit The Hole in Wand indoor mini golf, that was very different and very entertaining!). We had a really lovely meal at Con Amici Italian as well as at the Brookhouse Mill, which is only a 10 minute walk away from the property. We did not want to leave Ystrad Bach, it was a week that flew by but had the hallmark of a perfect and memorable holiday. Highly recommend!!
