A great relaxed holiday in a lovely quiet area, but only a short distance away from the north Wales coast.

Ash Farm had everything we needed, was prepared to an excellent standard with fantastic welcome pack. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and we are looking forward to our next stay.

we have been to this cottage many times,and it is quite perfect,in the heart of the countryside with lovely views { especially from bedroom window}, Gwenda and Phil are perfect hosts,after dark,it is worth looking outside at all the pretty lights around the yard,,we will always go back,as it is such a gentle retreat,,thank=you Gwenda and Phil,,,Sally and Eddie ,x

Gwenda and Phil are wonderful hosts, welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The house is very comfortable and well equipped and furnished with lots of thoughtful touches which make it a real home from home. Everything works! Easy check-in and plenty of space to park. Gwenda also includes a lovely welcome pack with fresh eggs from her own hens. Nice sitting out areas complete the package which we strongly recommend as being one of the best places we have stayed. Perfect for a couple.

The host family were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome, giving lots of great recommendations for local walks and places to visit. The property was spotless and extremely well-equipped, with everything we needed. The little welcome hamper was such a thoughtful touch. Their dogs are so sweet too! A beautiful place to stay, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The quality and condition of the cottage is spot on, spotlessly clean, and with lots of homely touches about the place to make your stay even more comfortable. The welcome pack was most useful, especially the Ash Farm eggs! Gwenda was always available if we had any questions, and the friendly pets on the farm made our stay even better! Thank You!

Lovely cottage set in the countryside yet near to places of interest.

The cottage is immaculate and a credit to the lovely owners who are on hand if you need them. There was a hamper with lots of essential items which came in handy. There is a utility room where you can leave your shoes and a downstairs toilet which is great, saves you going upstairs to the bathroom which has a great shower as well as a large corner bath. There are lots of lovely touches like hand wash and hand cream in the toilets. Kitchen has everything you could think of which leads into a nice and cosy living room with a corner sofa. Upstairs there is a landing which has a full free standing mirror and a sitting area. The bedroom is lovely and cosy lots of storage and a nice warm bed. Outside there is a plenty of room for parking and two sitting areas ideal for sitting out if the weather is nice. We will definitely return.

Two wonderful weeks of holiday in a comfortable and cosy cottage.

We were surprised by a welcome pack that was uniquely extensive and filled with fruit and other treats. Our conversations with the owners about shopping opportunities (Garden Center, Charity Shops, Eating Out) always inspired us and gave us good tips. The location of Ash Farm Cottage is excellent for exploring North Wales, Chester and Liverpool.

Ash Farm is in a beautiful area, peaceful and relaxing, but not too far away from the coast.

Everything we needed, with a great welcome pack and helpfull and friendly owners. Already looking forward to returning next year.

Excellent accommodation and perfect setting in lovely countryside, but with plenty of attractions nearby.

Owners are local so as well as being very helpful if needed have plenty of local knowledge.

Lovely comfortable and clean cottage with all you could need for a relaxing stay.

We really appreciated the welcome goodies and Gwenda was always on hand just in case. We would have no hesitation in booking again when back in the area.

It was a lovely cottage.

It had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen. Gwenda was very friendly. Unfortunately the weather proved to be very windy, heavy rain and cold from Sunday to Thursday. (The weather wasn't anything like the forecast that was given). We even had hailstones. Gwenda willingly provided us with an extra duvet as the temperature dropped in the night to 7c. It was a perfect place to stay, very quiet and peaceful. (I had just lost my brother so needed the holiday to come to terms with my loss). Gwenda recommended local restaurants. These restaurants provided lovely meals. Great place.

We had a lovely stay and the cottage was fantastic.

Clean and well equipped with everything we needed including a welcome box of different treats, and delicious eggs which were layed by the owners chickens. Yummy! It was nice to see the friendly dogs running around. We would highly recommend this cottage.

One of the best small self catering cottages I ever use.

Just brilliant

Perfect place to enjoy a relaxing, quiet, out of the way break near the Welsh north coast.

The cottage was spotless and had everything you needed (bar a veg peeler!!), nice well equipt kitchen, comfy lounge with a big TV, outside patio and seating area, big bath and shower and plentiful hot water, large comfy bed and plenty of storage. The hosts (Gwenda and Phil) were lovely too, helping out with information and providing a welcome hamper full of local goodies. They even helped me arrange some flowers to be delivered and booked a table at the local (15 mins walk) pub and their daughter made us some yummy cakes for our anniversary (Thank you again..) so, all in all a lovely relaxing week and highly recommended

We've had an absolutely lovely week in Ash Cottage.

It was spacious, clean and had everything you'd need for a weeks stay. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and their adorable dogs and there was a lovely tray of treats waiting for us. There was also freshmilk in the fridge. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage to our friends and family and we'll probably be back ourselves at some point. Thank you

My stay at Ash Farm Cottage was an excellent stay.

The Owners and of the Cottage are very kind and do their utmost to make your stay perfect. Their dogs are lovely, friendly and gentle. The Cottage is in a beautiful and quiet location and yet not far from Holywell and other near-by villages. There is also good parking space within the gated space in front of the cottage. It was so very welcoming to find two boxes filled with bread, coffee and chocolate sachets, jam, biscuits and, of course, fresh eggs from Ash Farm's own hens, on my arrival. I certainly recommend a stay at Ash Farm Cottage. It is suitable not only for two persons but also for solo visitors.

This is a superb property that is beautifully decorated.

The hosts have clearly put love and care into making the property homely and comfortable for their guests. The kitchen was well equipped and a joy to cook in. The hosts were friendly and left a selection of welcome(Easter) treats including fresh and delicious eggs from their own hens

Ash Farm Cottage was an absolute joy to stay in.

Everything, and more, you required for a comfortable stay was catered for. We were greeted with a superb welcome pack, milk, welsh biscuits, eggs and a great deal more. We would have no hesitation in booking again, and would certainly recommend a stay to anyone who would like a quiet, but convenient rural retreat.

It was spotlessly clean, really good fixtures and fittings. The kitchen was really well equipped. Also, importantly for us, it was warm and homely. We were welcomed with a fabulous pack of goodies and our hosts were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this cottage.

The Welcome Pack was really appreciated. Our only disappointment was that, due to poor weather, we were not able to make useful of the excellent outside facilities and fully appreciate the locality.

Ash Farm cottage is a credit to its owners.

A lovely place to stay, very clean and beautifully presented. All that you need for your stay and a bonus welcome pack on arrival was a real plus point The owners were lovely, very approachable and knowledgeable. We used the cottage as a base for exploring North Wales and would highly recommend staying as this beautiful cottage. Secure off street parking and If you are dog lovers there is a bonus of some very friendly and docile dogs that were never a problem. We really enjoyed our stay at Ash Farm cottage and would definitely return again when we are able too Tim and Gill

Gwenda and Phil were brilliant hosts they could not do enough their cottage was very cosy it is in a beautiful location very peaceful all the amenities were no more than 10 minutes away and the beaches were were only 20 minutes drive from the cottage the hosts have beautiful horses in their paddock and my granddaughter loved the slide in their garden and she loved playing with their friendly dogs we loved our time so much in the ash farm cottage that we are booking again for next summer holidays

The cottage is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. You can see a great deal of thought has been given into equipping the cottage and it has worked. 10 out of 10 is not a high enough score. Wonderful owner couple.

The house has every essential requirement including tv ,iron, hairdryer, clothes airer ,washing machine, vacuum cleaner, fridge freezer, kettle , microwave , kitchen utensils ,some cleaning products. There was also a welcome pack with biscuits, bread, egg and milk. No dishwasher though . Also a small patio where u can do your barbecue. good wifi connectivity if you want to watch your favourite shows or movies. Owners dogs are really cute and friendly.. Lovely place to stay and explore north wales. Snowdonia is 1 - 1.15 hrs away and nearest beach is 30 min…Enjoy

Little touches fantastic. Phil and Gwenda were perfect hosts and had thought of everything. Great location in countryside within walking distance of local villages. Highly recommended thankyou for a fantastic holiday.

The cottage is really well put together, extremely comfortable.

The whole place is well set up with absolutely everything that you need. There's a lovely patio to sit/eat outside too. We had a lovely welcome from Gewnda and the dogs who are very well behaved and friendly. Excellent location with plenty to do. It's the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Can't recommend highly enough.

Every attention to detail was made, we would return again. Although not situated on the coast, we found this property a good location for accessing the north wales coastal path start locations.

Attention to detail and cosy comforts made this a home from home. The owners have thought of everything. The fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and everything you could have wanted was accommodated for. We have booked again to return in 2021. Would highly recommend. 5

..lovely family....annexe was 100% equipped and spotless...lovely garden and comfy throughout...good location for us too . Local pubs for food were great..and easy to visit beaches ect....the holiday went too quick..would be nice to return

This cottage had everything we needed from a beautiful welcome pack to a comfortable bed and couch.

Owners where lovely people, made us feel very welcome recommending some places to eat as well. The location was a little out the way but nothing a quick 10 minute drive could fix. I would definitely recommend!

The cottage is clean, modern and cosy inside. We were greeted with a welcome hamper on arrival which was much appreciated. Phil and Gwenda were very welcoming and shared some tips on local walks and places to eat. It's a great location because you have complete peace and quiet at the cottage but are within easy access of the Clwydian hills, north Wales, Chester and Snowdonia. We'd definitely recommend staying here.
