    “The accommodation was lovely and the views from the balcony was stunning.”

    You were looking over the harbour, steam train station and the mountains. The let down for us was you could smell cigarette smoke sometimes when entering the property. The toilet door knob kept falling off, the bed was far to low and wouldn't be suitable for the elderly, the sofa was very uncomfortable as you kept slipping off of it, not enough storage for when you take your dogs and we felt the bathroom didn't need the step up to the sink and shower. We used the patio chairs to sit on for ...

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caernarfon.
