Quiet and peaceful location, shop 2 minutes walk. Lovely beaches but one quite a steep walk.

Ideal bungalow for our stay in Morfa Nefn.

Accommodation is in a very convenient location close to the beach and with an excellent convenience store nearby. Very comfortable and practical lounge, beds comfy and a super garden for our two spaniels. We would definitely book again.

Very spacious, well‑equipped cottage.

The reason for only giving four stars is that the gardener opened the garden gate to mow the lawn without first checking if it was safe to do so. Luckily, we were out in the garden with our dog and managed to grab hold of him, otherwise he could have run out of the gate and into the road. If we hadn’t been there, it could have ended very badly. We politely asked the gardener to check before entering the garden in future, but the response we received was not appropriate.

Great cottage, fully equipped, secure garden, visited over the years in total 5 times, no issues.

The house is very well equipped and has a nice secure garden which was perfect for our dogs. The local shop is convenient and only a minute away. Great area for beach and coastal walks. Would definitely recommend.

My brother and I, plus Bertie, my White West Highland, stay at Bwthyn Gwyn Bach twice a year for a week of sea air and memories of the area - we have been visitors for 61 years - as well as seeing "old" friends who live in the area and meeting new ones.

The bungalow is our accommodation of choice as it suits us both and there is a lovely enclosed garden for Bertie to explore. The beaches are great for walking and the whole Llyn peninsula is a joy of sea, sand and beautiful countryside. The accommodation is about 5 to 10 minutes from the beach and The Cliffs, a great bar and restaurant. The local supermarket is well stocked with friendly and helpful staff. There is a wealth of places to visit and every time we stay we find somewhere new on our Magical Mystery tours. We will be back!!

If you have a dog that can jump please be aware wall is not very high approx 4ft and we had to stand in the garden with her. Apart from that no problems.

A fabulous bungalow with plenty of room, lovely garden and even an electric charger (at additional cost) A real home from home and ideally situated to get around the area by car or by foot.

Will definitely revisit this accommodation again and recommend it to friends and family.

The location of the accommodation is perfect.

The house is comfortable and fairly well equipped. There are a couple of maintenance issues (extractor fan and toaster), but this is minor and didn’t distract from a lovely break.

The bungalow is absolutely beautiful.

It’s a complete home from home. Everywhere was clean and tidy when we arrived, instructions were clear and easy to follow. The photos do not do the bungalow justice it’s so much nicer. The people living in the cul-de-sac were all so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely tell my friends to consider the bungalow if they are coming to the area.

This really is a lovely holiday home and is just right to relax and unwind.

It's in a perfect spot too and close to the beach and coastal walks. The summer house is fab and has useful items and games. We enjoyed playing badminton in the garden. It's a super sized garden and our dog had fun running around safely with no way to escape. We definitely recommend Bwthyn Gwyn Bach and thank the owners and Sykes.

A very clean comfortable and well equipped cottage.

We had a wonderful week. The enclosed back garden was great for our dog. We would love to return! Our only negative was we found the EV charger tariff very high!

What a beautiful clean cottage for our family’s week away so clean spacious and cosy and well equipped especially having a washing machine just made our stay that much easier the en suite was perfect I was very impressed with how much kitchen appliances there was I I was able to do a Mexican night pizza night roast night with no problem at all the back garden was so big and our 2 dogs loved running around playing with there toys the summer house again was equipped with games chairs which my 2 teenagers enjoyed and the area and views was so beautiful there is a cost cutter shop that sells everything 5 minutes from the cottage and a chip shop we did go out in the car to explore and the beaches where stunning the beach we fell in love with was Pwllheli Traeth Marian-y-de Beach easy accessible 15 minutes away from the cottage and also there is a town centre home and bargains Aldi and Asda all in easy drive I would highly recommend this cottage it was like home from home and we will be rebooking

Amazing stay.

Beautiful setting and area and the cottage was a great location, walking distance to the beach. We stayed just before Christmas to have a family weekend together, even cooking a Christmas dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare the meal. The cottage was clean throughout and the garden was a good size for our two small dogs to play in. There was a slight issue with blocked/slow drainage in the en-suite shower and the main bathroom shower/bath but this really did affect our stay in a negative way whatsoever. We will definitely be staying again in future and look forward to returning.

Our 4th visit to this comfortable and well equipped cottage.

Well positioned to explore the western side of the Llyn. Good chippy down the road and a well stocked local shop opposite. Ty Coch Inn and the Cwrw Llyn Brewery well worth a visit for real ale lovers.

This is a perfect location for a lovely stay.

Central for all the local amenities and a stones throw away from the beautiful beach and perfect walks. This is the second time we've stayed and not much has changed, which is kind of the problem. Things are a little worn - there is no blind in the end suite and there's some mold around the window. The draws in the bigger double room are stiff and the bottom draw doesn't have any handles. That being said they have replaced the summer house and fixed the wall/fence so the garden is enclosed. It has everything you need - like home from home, it just requires some slight TLC. Overall a lovely stay and we would return

This was the fourth time we have stayed at the property, since our last visit the property has had a couple of improvements, the garden is now secure for the dogs and there is a new king size bed in the main bedroom.

A further improvement we would welcome would be a shower head that we can stand under in the main bathroom, sharing a shower in the en-suite for all occupants can be a logistical pain. Having said that this is our only downside, the location of the property is excellent, we park the car up and do not move it for a week. Already planning our next visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this scenic part of Wales.

The bungalow was spacious and comfortable and a great base to explore this Llyn Peninsula. Garden space and summer house was excellent for the little ones to explore and provision of some spaces and rackets was a really nice touch. It did feel in need of some minor upkeep and we were disappointed that the local caretaker was unable to help with an ant infestation in the lounge, and it took the owner almost 24 hours to advise they couldn’t help either. This wasn’t ideal with small children and having to resolve this ourselves wasn’t the service we expected when booking with Sykes. Minor gripes with quality of oven gloves, lack of crockery and very badly draining sinks.

Suited all our family needs. Would very much recommend. Ideally situated to easily visit other areas of the Llyn Peninsula. Would definitely book again. If I had to be really picky, I would recommend bath sheets size towels. Thanks

The bungalow is very homely, some of the furniture is a little unmatched, but that adds to the charm.

The kitchen was well equipped, for example, there are many plates, cups etc so you didn’t need to constantly wash up / run the dishwasher! For us having the EV charger was a major reason for selecting the property and that was efficient - we had no problems charging at the house, something that was essential in that part of the country!

I am almost loathed to say how much we love this cottage in case it gets booked up !

! This was our 4th visit to 'Bwthyn Gwyn Bach' and we have already booked at least one more stay this year with another possible ... When we arrive, it just now feels like 'coming home' and there is almost an instant feeling of relaxation just from walking through the front door. The garden is fantastic (and more work done on the back wall with a new Summer house) for dogs or just for sitting in the peace and quiet. The main bedroom is super comfortable with an en-suite and gorgeous shower ..there is also a new bed / mattress in there since our last visit too. Lounge is just relaxing too with comfy sofas and chair....the furniture is 'quirky'. It is warm too which is important for me with a beautiful log burner as well. Apart from being so lovely as a cottage - the location is just fantastic! Literally a 10 minute walk or less to the beach (and The Cliffs pub/ hotel ) and slightly less through a pathway between some houses to the coastal path where you can do the beautiful walk to Nefyn beach as well. The garage with the shop is literally about 100 metres away and is pretty reasonably stocked as well. To be honest (though there are some other AMAZING beaches to drive to as well), you could literally lock your car on arrival and not use it again till you left if you wanted. Anyway - as much as I don't want you to book when we want to be there (:0)) ...it is just brilliant in so many ways and they deserve every fab review they get! See you soon!

Fully equipped and very clean. The gardens are wonderful and was especially loved by the dogs.

It was very clean, comfy and spacious. It is equipped with everything you need and a short distance away from abersoch. There are beaches a stones throw away, when we visited it was honestly like having your very own private beach, a little bit bebbly. The garden is lovely and big enough for children to play.would highly recommend and we would stay again ❤️

A really nice,quiet place to stay for all the family;within walking distance of amenities and the sea.

The house is well kept and clean with a big garden to play and relax in.

It's a large property, bigger than it looks from the outside, it was clean with a big garden for pets to run, sniff around spoiled only by the tired looking, unpainted/treated summer house but as it rained most of our stay this wasn't much of a problem.

The bedrooms were quit big with comfortable beds, the main bedroom en suite was spacious and looked new, the kitchen was good with a fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and electric oven/hob which was very efficient and cooked great. The only downside was the TV which kept freezing half way thu programs but don't know whether this is a local problem, overall a nice place to stay, 10 minute walk to the beach or 20 minutes if you took the scenic route thu the golf course, oh and if you take a big dog like my greyhound beware the floors are all laminate and we had a few 'Bambie' moments. We only left a couple of days early because of that and also the atrocious weather both experienced and forecast, in good weather it would have been a lot better, we've had some great holidays in Wales in the sun.

A really fantastic location, we have been to the Lynn for over 20 years always using Sykes.

This cottage is very comfortable and clean, probably the mildew issues would be prevented if ventilation was provided to the main bathroom and kitchen. The double bed although comfortable was on a very unusual creaky base. We loved our week and will be back Thank you

We had a really great holiday in the lovely cottage.

All on one level, it suited us ladies and the two dogs. We spent a lot of time in the garden, it was so peaceful that all we could hear was birdsong - all week we had excellent weather. A well equipped home, very comfortable beds, although one small drawer set does need repair or replacement. We loved the location, close to a National Trust beach, gorgeous walks and in a beautiful village. Thank you for letting us share your lovely home.

We have just stayed for a week and were very comfortable.

The cottage is well equipped with most things you are likely to need and is cleaned and presented to a high standard. A minor point is that the patio area could be a bit tidier (imho) and Sykes should amend the description details to state that there is no fuel provided for the log burner.

4th time in this cottage.

Everything you need, and great location.As mentioned before, security of the garden at the bottom for dogs needs addressing.The temporary.... wire netting mesh fence is inadequate..... but will still book again. ( had to reinforce it to stop our dog getting out ). Thanks.

The cottage was clean and comfortable and it was exactly as described .

It was close to all amenities including a local beach that was less than 10 minutes walk from the property. The garden was a good size , was secure ,and our dog loved the space My only minor gripes are that a TV in the main bedroom would be a good addition for rainy days . Also the check in and out times do need revising. The above did not spoil our time at the property , as the bungalow met our needs

. lovely walks. My one and only thing is that the fan in the ensuite flaps really bad in the wind not sure if they could put something to help with the noise?! Apart from that all amenities work great for us…

We keep returning to this cottage as it is adequately equipped and in a great location for beach, coastal walks and shop/pub.

It appears the hole in the hedge has been filled as no issues with our dog. I would recommend walking (coastal path) to the brewery in Nefyn.

The house was spacious, well appointed, clean and very comfortable. It is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, the beautiful beach is within easy walking distance and we would definitely book again. Our only suggestion would be to erect a fence at the bottom of the garden, to prevent dogs from escaping.

Our third time here, the bungalow is clean and comfortable, the garden is big enough for my dog, although the gap behind the summerhouse was discovered by said dog and he kept trying to explore a bit further than I would have liked.

We parked the car on the day of arrival and didn’t move it until we left. Lots of lovely beach walking and swimming within easy reach, the local shop is 2 min walk away The only issue I have is the kingside bed in the main bedroom is incredibly creaky, every tiny movement it amplified.

Very nice bungalow.

Deceptively large inside. Close to beach, shop and pub. Nice quiet location. No hanging facilities in one of bedrooms, would be useful to have a rail or hooks on wall. Shower handset over bath needs to have a higher fixing point so can be a full stand up shower for an adult, instead of being waist height. As a group of 3 females staying in the house, this was our only criticism.

The cottage is everything we could wish for on a holiday with our doggies.

The property was clean and welcoming. The garden is a great asset although there is a gap in the wall behind the summer shed which meant it wasn't completely secure. One night was really windy and the door of the storage facility for the oil kept coming undone. That being said we had a fantastic break and will be booking again. Thank you owners for allowing us to use this wonderful property.

Lots of information about the bungalow and area, very well presented. Good location- no through traffic, near shop, in the middle of the Lleyn peninsula. All 3 bedrooms were nice, would have been happy to sleep in any of them. Plenty of fridge and freezer space- you could prepare a few meals before your holiday

This was our third trip to the property since 2019.

We return because it is comfy, well equipped and has a nice garden that we and the dog enjoy using. It is well positioned for the beach / coast path and within easy reach of most of Lleyn.

Very comfortable for our whole family

It was a comfortable, clean, well decorated bungalow in convenient quiet position.

The kitchen equipment was good and easy to understand. The shower and bath were good and hot water plentiful. The double bed was uncomfortable. As with most holiday cottages there were several smelly diffusers which exacerbated my asthma and had to be covered up. I think these should be optional. Again as with most cottages there were no reading lights. The garden was spacious and secure enough for our dog. It was useful to have a separate radio. There were plenty of hooks and a really convenient shoe rack in the hall. I would recommend Bwthyn Gwyn Bach.

As we have stayed here before, the bungalow mainly met our expectations rather than exceeded them because we knew what to expect but the wifi seemed much better than it was two years ago.

The bungalow is very well equipped and maintained, the enclosed garden is perfect for our dog, the tv is great and the position, just off the main road but near the local supermarket/garage, coastal path and beach leading to Porthdinllaen, is so convenient. It really is a home from home.

Lovely single level cottage in a cul de sac in the centre of Morfa Newyn.

Kitchen facilities (mugs, glasses etc) particularly well stocked and the large smart TV was much appreciated. Large grassed garden, outdoor seating and summerhouse facilities were excellent. Perhaps the enclosure of the garden might be slightly improved to give 100% comfort to dog owners. Bedrooms and bathrooms very comfortable. Costcutter grocery store couldn't be nearer or better stocked and beach only 10 mins walk away. The walk from the golf club around the coastal peninsular is simple stunning on a clear day. The Y Bryncynan pub nearby has an excellent garden and good food.

Holidayed just after Covid 19 lockdown lifted allowing holidays.

I was very pleased with how clean the cottage was, I felt confident that it had been throughly cleaned following the last visitors. The cottage itself situated perfectly, walking distance from beach, pub and shop. No need to move the car all week. This is our second time staying here and we won’t hesitate to return again. Perfect for relaxing and holidaying with the dog.

Ideal geographical position to travel to several coastal places.

Although with Covid restrictions in place places to eat and drink were limited, we still found several lovely locations including Ty Coch, Aqua Beach Bar, Llanbedrog, Bryncynyn.

Close to all Morfa Nefyn amenities. Have been a regular visitor to this area for many years and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Apologies re leaving the dish washer full but was only following advice found in the cottage and didn't read your email until we got home.

The bungalow was lovely and very well equipped.

It has a beautiful garden which was secure for the dog.

The cottage was so well equipped and beautifully set out.

The huge garden at the rear was a big bonus for our two grandchildren to run around and let off a little steam. The garden furniture was such good quality and the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink. It did help that we had stunning weather which gave us the freedom to choose either the beach, the house or the mountains! Great place for a base to explore the area. The welcome pack of wine, jam and crisps was also a really thoughtful touch Hopefully we will return in the future - in the meantime, thanks to everyone for such a good holiday.

Fabulous location for discovering the Llyn Peninsula, bungalow was great for my Dad and his wheelchair, garden great for our two doggies.

Other than a touch up of paint outside and maybe a bit more landscaping it is a lovely place to spend our family time. I would return to this property and already looked for 2019 but it’s full!

A good base for a walking holiday as next to the coastal path & other walks.

The Costcutters at the end of the quiet, cut-de-sac was a real bonus; you could even get good Pizzas there. Bar/ Restaurant only a short walk away but worth booking in advance as it is very popular.
