Normandy

An extremely clean and comfortable bungalow, in a convenient location with walking distance to the beach.

The extensive welcome pack was most appreciated, even the dogs had some treats. There were plenty of games and books provided should you not wish to venture far. We will hopefully return in the not too distant future.

Lovely property with everything you need.

Great location for Nefyn and also exploring the peninsula. Had a slight issue with heating and it was sorted immediately - couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was ok.

Great location for exploring the local area and easy access to sights slightly further away.

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped bungalow in a quiet area within walking distance of the beach at Porth Nefyn.

We appreciated the owner meeting us on arrival and showing us round the property and providing a welcome pack. Nefyn is good base to explore the Lleyn peninsula, with most areas less than half an hour's drive away. The town has a couple of well stocked grocery shops and a some restaurants.

The owner made contact with us when we were on our way.

Although they were unable to meet with us, as per instructions, on our arrival, they went through the info needed on the phone and advised us to call anytime if any problems. The bungalow was lovely and cool inside (first 3 days was in the heatwave) and very clean. We found everything we would require for our stay and had a comfortable week. The local beach was within walking distance and our 2 dogs love the beach. The covered porch/car port was a good advantage as we could dry the dogs off and lose the sand outside without getting more wet on the days we did have a little bit of rain. The shower was brilliant as you could choose between the 2 different heads and the temperature was easy to control. There was a lovely welcome pack and the dogs loved their treats and we went out and brought more Bara Brith bread as this was lovely. If there was any improvements to be made, I would suggest new mattresses as they did feel quite springy but it did not stop us from sleeping well. There was also only 1 dishwasher tablet so we had to buy more, although not an issue as the bungalow had plenty of condiments in their cupboards which meant we did not have to buy these. The village is lovely, good shops and take away places and people were very friendly and we enjoyed the peacefulness that surrounded us. We will book again main the future as there was lots we didn’t have time to see and North Wales is such a picturesque place.

Well equipped bungalow in quiet convenient location.

Property was accessible for our daughter who is an active wheelchair user with good transfer abilities. Secure enclosed garden at rear. Safe open area for walking dogs very close by. Not far from Nefyn village and local beaches. Great base for exploring the Lleyn Peninsula. Extremely helpful owners. We enjoyed our stay.

Spacious bungalow in a quiet location, with all the mod cons.

We found though that the cleanliness of both the inside and outside of the property left much to be desired.

After an electrical problem which was sorted very quickly the rest of the stay was great.

Could do with some more cleaning materials in the bungalow which will help when it's time to leave, but we enjoyed all of our stay here.

Sharon and her family have provided a paradise, a home away from home.

Her attention to detail is phenomenal. She truly cares about her holidaymakers!!! The house was clean, warm and extremely comfortable. The open fire works like a dream. Our dog was welcomed with genuine love. The outdoor space is perfect. Nefyn, as a seaside village, is thriving and is truly a very happy place. Enough amenities to satisfy any taste. Nothing was too much trouble for lovely Sharon. Thank you for Normandy. Stunning.

The property was very clean, beds and furnishings are very comfortable.

The log fire was a bonus and the place was warm in the evenings. The owners were very helpful , we had a power cut one day and John turned up within ten minutes and sorted it out. The back garden was secure for our dog and we found a lovely walk up into the hills which started at the end of the cul de sac. Supermarket, fast food and coffee shop all within walking distance. We all enjoyed our stay and would return.

The 4 nights we spent at Normandy were 1st class.

On arrival we were met by Sharon, who was very helpful. Once settled/unpacked we felt at home. The bungalow is very well equipped and very clean. The area around Nefyn is very nice with a good 10 mins dog walk to the beach. It helps when the weather is kind. Apart from storm Sunday, it was quite warm (for mid October). All in all we had a very relaxing short break which was made more enjoyable by our accommodation and surroundings. Would we go again? Of course we would. It is thoroughly worth a visit.

Felt like a home from home and the owners were very helpful. Nefyn is a great base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and i have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Treats left for us….and the dogs. So thoughtful. Spotlessly clean and a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Plenty of leaflets for the area which was a bonus. You might stay in different but, if your priority is the security of your pet/pets, you won’t stay in better. Great base for Lleyn peninsular and local beach wonderful for a safe doggie walk.

The property was lovely with lots of nice walks starting from there.

It was clean and comfortable with all you could wish for. Nice to have such nice garden furniture as we were very lucky with the weather. We walked to Nefyn one night for dinner and then back which is as they say a good stretch of the legs but all good. Would recommend and hope to come back another time

An excellent property, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well appointed.

Ideal for dog owners as it is truly dog friendly, with a secure rear garden and close to good walking paths into the nearby village or up the adjacent mountain. The local beach is beautiful and great for exercising the dog. It is also a good location for exploring all of the charming Lleyn Peninsular. We will definitely be back!

We had a great 5 night stay at Normandy.

Sharon met us on arrival and was really helpful, informative and friendly. Normandy was exceptionally clean and well maintained with everything you could need for a stay including every kitchen utensil you could think of, guide books, recommended eating places and, just as important, a really secure back garden for our terrier to roam in the mornings! The beds, in particular, are really comfortable! Nefyn is a lovely destination and the local beach is beautiful with the local brewery and community owned pub well worth a visit if you fancy some "real ale". Thank you for a great stay and we will definitely book again. Would thoroughly recommend.

Sharon (owner) met us on arrival and gave us a quick introduction to the property which was helpfull. The property is well maintained and we would certainly stay there again. The Normandy is very well situated with easy access to the nearby beach. Snowdon and many other great places to visit only a short drive away.

We spent a lovely week in Nefyn and really enjoyed our holiday.

Normandy is a super bungalow and is very well equipped for a family to stay with instructions for all the appliances. It is adapted for disabled use which was extremely helpful for me. The owner is very helpful and friendly and available by phone if you have any problems or requests.Nefyn's shops are nearby for groceries and there's a lovely sandy beach with a beach cafe and bakery. I would definitely stay here again.
