Lovely little cottage, well equipped with a beautiful view.

Convenient location for exploring Anglesey and local amenities.

The moment we arrived a family member greeted us and welcomed me in my native tongue.

The accomodation did not disappoint in any way and the owners were as expected courteous.The property was exactly what we needed and we totally relaxed,we would stay again.

We always look for secluded places because of our nervous rescue dog and these cottages on a farm in the middle of Anglesey were ideal.

Well placed for access to beaches and beautiful forest walks. The owners, Andrew and Amanda were friendly, hospitable and a good source of helpful local information. The Dingle Forest in Llangefni was real hidden gem and highly recommended for a visit.

The accommodation was lovely and so was the location.

Beautiful Gardens to sit in. The owners Andrew and Amanda were very polite and friendly and offered to help us with any questions or concerns we might have. The one thing I would say, is that as it was stated when booking. There is some noise from both the boiler firing up on a regular basis and also when the upstairs accommodation is in use there is a certain level of noise which could be a problem for some people. Otherwise apart from that it was a lovely stay and fantastic location.

This property was extremely well- placed to explore the whole island.

The welcome pack was a nice touch (bread,milk,butter, jam) The ground floor apartment is extremely clean. The shower is really good. The enclosed garden is handy. There is a bit of noise from the occupants above ( but nothing major) I’d recommend visits to the Dingle and the nearby Cefni reservoir if you’re travelling with dogs - it’s only a short drive from the property. Visited beaches at: Red Wharf Bay, Bennlech, Rhosneigor and Newborough. Lidl, Aldi and Asda all in Llangefni ( a short drive away) All in all, a good central location in a cosy apartment.

Lovely clean and comfortable cottage.

Well equipped with every thing you need. Very central for exploring the island. Only criticism is who put the fridge doors on the wrong way!!!

Lovely location, friendly owners and the place was spotless.

WiFi was a bit spotty but, not really an issue. There was another guest in the property above and you can hear them at times but, it didn’t ruin the stay. The misses, the dog and myself had a great time. Would recommend.

Had a lovely stay, very comfortable, clean and plenty of space for 2 with the added bonus of a garden to sit and chill in on a lovely evening.

Hosts we're very friendly and made us feel at home. Would certainly visit again.

A lovely little cottage, beautifully maintained, comfortable and perfect for two people and a dog.

The cottage has everything that you could need, including a welcome pack so you can enjoy a brew within minutes of arriving. Amanda and Andrew are perfect hosts, welcoming and on hand in moments should you need anything. The attached garden is perfect for your dog to play or relax between excursions across Anglesey, for which the cottage is perfectly placed. 10/10, we’ll be visiting again.

The hosts are helpful and supportive when needed but not intrusive! Great communication. Highly recommend!

The accommodation was clean, the bed was very comfy.

The sofas were tired and hard to get up from.(very low) no clock. The bench table was poor. Used the stools as coffee tables instead. Took trays for eating based on previous guests advice. That said had a nice stay. Andrew was very friendly and the views were amazing. Nice enclosed garden for dog.

We loved the cottage.

Although small, it was very comfortable and very well equipped. Lots of nice little touches and we appreciated the welcome goodies. Enjoyed the use of the enclosed garden, as did our two dogs, very peaceful and beautiful open views. The bed was also extremely comfortable. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be useful to provide some coat hooks, to have somewhere to slip jackets, dog leads etc. Otherwise no complaints at all and would happily return.

Thank you for the 2 week stay, mix weather,but enjoy Anglesey from a very central spot,llangefni was a good for coffee shops and super markets.

The appartment on one level was good for people of our age.Lovely view and nice little garden just for us.

Ideal location to visit the rest of the island. Lovely touch leaving the basics in the cottage to get us started.

The cottage was lovely and attention to detail was excellent.

Loved the welcome pack . The back garden was super handy for our little dog. The only thing negative I can say is that it could do with some insulation between the upper floor and the apartment below as it’s very noisy especially in the bedroom,. Overall it’s a fabulous place to stay.

Sofas are not comfortable.

Too much noise late at night to early morning from the occupants in the room above our bedroom. Lovely, clean and cosy cottage, well equipped and in a beautiful location.

Llain Main was ideal for my husband and I.

It was centrally located in Anglesey, clean, warm and there was an idyllic rural view from the living room window. The welcome groceries were very unexpected and much appreciated. Although the weather was less than co-operative most days, including Storm Agnes, we were still able to enjoy Anglesey and come back to a cosy cottage!

Close attention to detail throughout.

Like Welsh produced items mostly in welcome pack. A most interesting place to stay with a great view from the lounge window.

Just a perfect little holiday home in a great location.

. Very clean and well kept! Beautiful views from sitting room window and a very comfortable bed which is so important in a holiday home. Owners are helpful , friendly and make you feel welcome . The welcome pack is great with bread, butter, milk & jam. All the essentials you need on arrival, well done Andrew & Amanda. We will be back!!

We were met with a warm welcome by the owner who went out of his way to supply Fiona with a shower mat.

Great views, great location and a private garden made for lovely stay. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the essentials needed until we could go to the shops.

We were very disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the property.

There was a lot of dust and cobwebs in the lounge and kitchen and a lot of dirty marks on the walls. Also the step going up into the kitchen from the lounge was broken which could be dangerous if you stepped on the end of it. We contacted the owners shortly after we arrived to inform them. They offered to come and clean for us even though they had said they had done this a couple of days previously. We declined as we were tired after a long journey and the cleaning could have taken quite a while. We decided to leave the following morning even though we had booked for 4 nights. Doesn’t look as though we are entitled to a refund!!!

Vefy well positioned for exploring the Island. Everything we needed for a great experience. Andrew very helpfull with his usefull local knowledge.We will return in the future.

We stayed here for a break before Easter.

The apartment was excellent. The owners were lovely and so helpful. They even finished fixing a gate of the little garden for our dog and gave us rugs and mats for the house due to her slipping and sliding on laminate floors. Nothing was too much trouble. The noise from upstairs and oil central heating was noticeable but not disruptive. Would definitely like to go back xx

Excellent accommodation set in lovely gardens with beautiful views.

Friendly and welcoming hosts make this a great place to stay. The fourth time we have rented one of the apartments and it won't be the last.

After our 4th visit we still find Llain Mai on arrival spotlessly clean, cosy, comfortable, and well equipped.

Being fairly central on the island it’s a perfect location for visiting anywhere on Anglesey or even a trip over to the Snowdonia National Park. Amanda and Andrew are perfect hosts even organising gorgeous weather for our recent holiday. We intend to return.

Very clean modern property,there was two 2seater settees in the lounge wich were very uncomfortable, the accommodation above was also a holiday let and was very noisy due to the laminate floor.

A very nice clean property with nice hosts, however found it very hard to relax wich we urgently needed

Well equipped and well presented. A little further out of Llangefni than we had expected but that's down to us, the listing and description are perfectly accurate. We'd definitely consider this property again for our next visit to Anglesey

Good central location for visiting all corners of Anglesey.

We’ve just had our 3rd holiday at Llain Mai and it was just as perfect as the 1st time.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Everything you could have hoped for. Relaxing in the garden or sitting round in the summerhouse was so peaceful and with the owners on site being able to give advice/information/help was very handy. The location of the property couldn’t be better being so central on the island. The welcome pack was very useful and appreciated. They also remembered a special occasion with a beautiful vase of flowers. Most impressed. Can’t wait to return. Again. Reference some of the negative comments, in my opinion they are a bit OTT. Yes, it’s true, there is a bit of noise, you can hear muffled talking or a toilet being flushed but it’s definitely no worse than you would hear in your own house if someone went from a bedroom to the bathroom upstairs and you were downstairs . Any noises that we’ve heard have never interfered or spoilt the enjoyment we’ve experienced whilst holidaying at Llain Mai

There is little or no sound insulation between the ground floor apartment and the one above meaning that we heard every movement of the people staying in that flat, we were woken up every night by them flushing the toilet.

Would putting carpet down in the upstairs flat help? I don’t know, but future guests should be warned, it did mar our holiday somewhat. Everything else was ok and the owner was very friendly.

Mixed experience.

Cottage facilities good. Large bedroom, walk in wardrobe, comfortable king sized bed, excellent large shower. Living room: two sofas,TV and breakfast bar. Kitchen well equipped, but very small( only room for one person). It was ok for us to make breakfast and sandwiches,as we ate out most of the time. The problem we found with this cottage was the soundproofing. From the accommodation above we could hear every foot step, tv noise, muted conversation,taps running and toilet flushing. If like downstairs there are wooden floors, then this exacerbates the problem. Easy to clean but not good for sound insulation. The owner said he was aware of the problem and was actively seeking a solution. It's hard to imagine any repeat business until this problem is resolved. It would be a pity because the cottage itself is lovely and it's location, in the middle of the island, is very good.

Accommodation described as a cottage, it's not.

It's more accurately described as an apartment, within a large converted farm building. Yes the term ground floor is used but nowhere does it say there's another apartment above you. The photograph in the description shows the front of the building - the entrance door to Llain Mai is down the side of the building, out of sight, to the right of the view in the photo. Through no fault of their own, we could hear every movement our fellow holiday makers made. Even conversation, though muted, was audible. Laminated flooring transmits every slightest noise. From a walk to the loo at ten past five in the morning to a daily exercise routine (?). Ablutions also. The boiler for the entire building is located within our space. It seemed that every time a tap was turned on somewhere in the building, the boiler erupted into life. Summarising, the place is spotlessly clean, beautiful bathroom, useful kitchen and superbly located - but I'm afraid we would prefer not to stay there again.

Cottage ideally located in centre of Anglesey so not too far to drive to anywhere.

The property was lovely.

Very clean, well equipped with the best bed you could wish for. Lovely grounds with seating areas. Nice to watch some jets landing and taking off at Bodeffordd. Lovely quiet area yet close to Llangefni.

The cottage was lovely and had been equiped to a very high standard. We would highly recommend it and hope to return ourselves.

The owners greet you with such a warm welcome you feel at home immediately.

They are always happy to help and advise but “out of site” when you require your privacy. The property is recently very well renovated, in a superb location with lovely views and literally 2/3mins drive into Llangefni where you’ll find everything else you need. Enjoy walking? Suss out “The Dingle” down in Llangefni. Will definitely return, probably next year.

very well equipped cottage which met all our expectations. We even had lambs in the field outside our lounge window. Nothing at all not to like.

We just went for this Easter bank holiday weekend.

The cottage is located in centre of Anglesey and it was convenient to go around all the places with just 20-30mins drive including Llanberis mount Snowdon railway station. Also located in a beautiful place, quite calm, nature view (Sun set just behind). This cottage also provided a small private garden where you can sit and enjoy the evening sun set or have dinner outside. Also there is common deck with a small hut near a pond where you can relax. Cottage itself was well maintained, very neat and pretty much brand new. All necessary facilities have been provided - kitchen/toiletries etc. Nice space to park the car right front of the cottage. Most important landlord is very helpful. We arrived late night and they provided some fresh groceries for us to have it for the morning breakfast. They gave us good guidance about local places (must see), nice places to eat and help anything needed. I had been to several cottages in UK, this one was very good and I would personally go there again. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody if you are visiting north Wales and would like to see lot of places at the same time enjoy relax environment at the cottage.
