“Great stay at the Old Barn.”

Stunning views, perfect spot if you want a quiet break, in a beautiful area, with lots of walks. There are a fair few places to go for a coffee, meal, a beer, all within a few minutes drive. Just a 30 minute drive and there are lots of village/towns to visit, our favourite was Llangollan. The house was lovely, comfortable beds, spacious, plenty of space for all us 8 and a dog. Great to have the hot tub and the sauna, they were both used. Thank you for letting us rent The Old Barn.

As you approach, a sweeping driveway guides you past manicured lawns and neatly clipped shrubbery, offering a grand sense of arrival.

The house’s elevated position provides far-reaching views across the valley, best appreciated from the furnished balcony—perfect for a morning brew or a relaxed evening meal beneath the open sky.

Step through the balcony doors into the first-floor living and dining area, where rustic white brick walls, exposed beams, a generous corner sofa, and a dining table for eight create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A woodburning stove and Smart TV add to the inviting feel of the space.

From here, the conservatory offers a peaceful spot to take in the countryside views, with exposed brickwork and access to a veranda—an ideal place to enjoy the fresh air with a book in hand.

Also on the first floor is a well-appointed kitchen, complete with an oil-fired range cooker—perfect for preparing hearty meals for the whole group.

An additional dining area surrounds the central island, where guests can gather for a leisurely breakfast straight from the hob.

Downstairs, the ground floor hosts three thoughtfully designed bedrooms.

The second is another super-king-size room, also convertible to a twin, with a built-in wardrobe, patio access, and a stylish en-suite.

The third is a charming double bedroom with a dressing table and a characterful stable door leading to its own en-suite.

Also on the ground floor is a versatile family room with high ceilings, countryside views, and a day bed.

This room can be arranged as a twin or super-king-size and includes its own en-suite.

A cloakroom with WC, a utility room with freezer, washing machine and basin, and a sauna for a touch of indulgence complete the layout on this level.

The second floor features a family room with a triple layout and a Velux window, ideal for children or additional guests.

A stylish family bathroom completes this floor, with a freestanding bath, walk-in shower, double basin, and WC—perfect for a long soak after a day of exploring.
