Cynefin

We stayed for 3 nights with 7 adults and 2 dogs and loved every minute.

The house is beautiful and so well equipped. It's location is super for visiting different parts of the island.

Lovely place very relaxing, very clean and everything you need in the kitchen.

Just lacks comfortable garden furniture

Myself my daughter and 3 grandchildren aged from 4 to 13 years have just had a fab weeks stay at Cynefin.

The cottage is immaculately clean , well equipped and very spacious. It has absolutely everything you need loads of games for the children and the football/ games table in the garage is an added bonus. Lots of space outside for them to play and for car parking . It is well located and easy to get to places from the cottage, beaches and shops are 10-15 minutes away. Olwen checks in on you several times to make sure everything is ok and you have no problems which is very thoughtful. She leaves you a lovely welcome pack including sweets for the children and prosecco for the adults. I would definitely recommend a stay at this property .

Lovely cottage very well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen and throughout the cottage.

We shall be back there soon

Beautiful bungalow, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything needed for our stay.

Excellent service provided by Ollwen when a little problem arose. In a beautiful countryside setting with a field of sheep close by. Comfortable beds and furniture, ample parking and in a very peaceful location. Will definitely be booking this property again.

Wonderful accommodation.

Immaculately clean, brilliantly well stocked kitchen and much larger than it looks on the website. Super welcome pack and extremely helpful owners. Would highly recommend.

A lovely, well maintained, clean and comfortable house in a peaceful location.

Olwen, our host, clearly made every effort to ensure we enjoyed our holiday and that everything was catered for; the rooms and particularly the kitchen were well maintained and equipped and the 'welcome pack' (milk, cakes, sweets etc) was appreciated. She also contacted us during our stay to ensure that we had everything we needed. A great holiday experience - thank you Olwen.

We had a lovely weekend away.

The accommodation was even better than the photos, and Olwen was very accommodating. Hope to return again.

Stayed at Cynefin for 3 nights in last week of Dec.

Massively impressed. The pics don't tell the whole story. The bungalow is much more spacious and well maintained than one would imagine. The freezing weather was a distant dream under the duvets. The kitchen large, well maintained and well stocked. Plenty of games for the kids and plenty of room to run about outside in the right weather. Olwen was really obliging and helpful. Highly recommended host and location. Would love to visit again.

Our second visit to Cynefin did not disappoint.

Olwen is a lovely host and always checks in to make sure everything is in order. A great base for doggy adventures with lots of beautiful beach walks and the copper mine nearby. The house is immaculate and very cosy- even in stormy weather. Thank you so much!

Another enjoyable week at Cynefin, despite the weather!

The accommodation is warm, comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. A generous welcome pack was provided which included some treats for the canine visitors. Thanks Olwen and see you again next year.

This is a well-maintained and comfortable property with everything we needed for our short holiday.

There was a welcome tray and fresh milk for us which was appreciated and the owner, Olwen, contacted us on the first day to check that everything was to our satisfaction, which it was. Cynefin is beautifully appointed and very cosy- thank you Olwen, we look forward to returning!

An absolutely perfect bungalow.

The host had thought of everything we would need, right down to the sweeteners in the cupboard. Warm, comfy. Lovely views across fields of sheep. Perfect location for 'doing' Anglesey. Very highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely cottage in a very quiet and peaceful area.

The cottage was spotless when we arrived. It's bigger than it seems in the photos too. The bedrooms are all a decent size and comfortable with plenty of storage too and the kitchen is very well equipped with pretty much everything you could ask for for a short stay. The range cooker wasn't on when we went as the weather was too warm but I am sure it would be a lovely cosy addition in the winter. The Wifi was great and the smart TV worked brilliantly, which for some reason is something so many properties just don't bother with. The garden is a great size with plenty of space for the dogs to run around and there's loads of space for multiple cars to park outside. The surrounding countryside is lovely and provided you are ok walking along the roads with no pavements there's a lovely little farm shop and smokery just down the road for some great local produce. There's a general store about 45 mins walk, or a 10 minute drive into Amlwch for a bigger shop. Overall it was an absolutely great stay and we would highly recommend. Olwen contacted us when we were arriving and after the first night to check everything was ok and was on hand if we needed anything. Just a few things that would have made a bit of a difference below (not enough to make the review less than 5 stars). - The curtains in the bedrooms are very thin, which means that the room is fully bright as soon as the sun comes up. Great if you're having a busy holiday doing loads of stuff, but a bit annoying for a relaxing break. Thick blinds or blackout curtains would be a very welcome addition. - The wall at the front is very low and our cockerpoo could jump it easily. She did once, but fortunately came back very quickly. There is a fence on top of the wall the majority of the way round but not on that one. I appreciate it's likely to not spoil the view, but just a wire fence or similar to stop dogs being able to get out would mean you wouldn't have to keep them on a lead the whole time when in the garden.

This is out 2nd visit!

We love this bungalow. It’s central on the Island so easy to visit everywhere. It’s clean, very comfortable, filled with everything you need, even things you don’t get in other places and we stayed at a lot. You don’t need to worry about bringing things when you stay. We have a disabled daughter and find it easily accessible although you may need a ramp with a wheelchair. There’s games for kids and a little play area in the garage with table hockey etc. it’s a very well thought out holiday let and we will return again. Olwyn couldn’t have been friendlier or anymore helpful during our stay. Thank you once again and see you next year.

Lovely clean and very spacious property.

Nice that its all on one floor, a break from the stairs! Owner very helpful!

Amazing beautiful bungalow , very clean and modern .

The owner was very welcoming and texted us during our stay to make sure we were ok or if we needed anything . We will definitely be staying there again . Julie

Such a great, quiet and beautiful stay at Cynefin.

Very clean and spacious. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The dog bowls and biscuits were a lovely touch. The neighbours being sheep and cows made our holiday. Proximity to beaches and the copper mine made for some great adventures. We will most definitely be back in the future. Thank you for having us stay.

This was our 2nd visit to this wonderful bungalow.

There was ample space for our family of 6 adults and Murphy our little dog. Olwen had left a beautiful welcome pack of goodies which were delicious and fresh milk in the fridge. Olwen messaged a few times during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The bungalow has everything you could need and is in a quiet location overlooking the countryside. Everywhere on the island is within easy reach from this location and provides the perfect base. The only improvement I would make, would be to install a clothes line to take advantage of the fabulous breezes and drying days. What a wonderful holiday we had and we will most certainly be booking this gem again. Thank you Olwen.

Absolutely beautiful bungalow.

It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities needed. The views were beautiful and the location was idea for travel around Anglesey. The owners were also very accommodating. They checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly. My mother has limited mobility and uses a wheelchair. The property was pretty much perfect from this perspective. The wide corridors and big rooms meant she was able to walk around using her walker. The bathroom was big and had a shower that only had a very small step to get into. The multiple armchairs meant that she was able to push herself up from sitting down. It does say on the listing that there are steps to get into the property. The front door has two steps, and the back door has one. Since it said this on the listing we were able to make the decision that my mum would be able to cope with this with some help. However, since the property is so accessible it would be great if there was either a ramp installed or a temporary ramp that people could choose to ask for. Thank you for letting us stay in your property. We had a lovely holiday made better by having such a perfect place to stay.

Wow, such a lovely house, it immediately felt like home, perfect for our weekend away, wish we could have stayed longer, there will definitely be next time.

Highly recommended, thanks Olwen

This property is superbly presented and fully equipped.

Set in a country location in a small hamlet peace is guaranteed (farm animal noises an exception!)We had a wonderful lazy holiday and would return at another time. Thank you Olwen for your attention to detail.

Absolutely loved this bungalow - it has been recently renovated and is spotless throughout.

Very comfortable and the open plan kitchen is great. There is an extra toilet off the utility room which I didnt realise until we got there. The views of the surrounding area is lovely and we loved watching the sheep and lambs in the fields- would defo recommend

We had the most amazing stay here.

It was just a short break with my little boy, my mum and our 2 dogs. The house has absolutely everything you would ever need during your stay. It’s a beautiful property very spacious. Each room is huge. Olwen is a lovely host she left some little goodies for us and made sure we were ok during our stay, nothing was too much trouble for her and was a really nice touch. The outside area was great for the dogs they loved having a play running around the garden and we felt safe that it was secure to keep them in. We really enjoyed our stay and we Will definitely be back. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at Cynefin.

It was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. We didn't manage to meet the owner, Olwen, until the final day but she checked in with us via text to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Had a great week at Cynefin.

Extremely clean and super comfortable, had everything you would ever need in a holiday cottage. Very spacious property, the photos don’t do it justice, with plenty of space for everyone. Great value for money, would recommend and we will be back!

A lovely 3 bed bungalow with 1 bathroom and a separate WC toilet.

Nice and spacious rooms with a large open plan kitchen / dining area. The bungalow has enough beds to sleep 7. It was very clean tidy and had everything you'd require in the kitchen. Nicely decorated and Olwen was super friendly. Would recommend.

Had a really nice week here, the location is great as there are lots of things to do within a short drive.

The cottage was really clean and well equipped. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

A really lovely stay at Cynefin.

The house was beautiful inside, very modern update to it. Each room was spacious and suited our needs well. Easily one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in for the price. House was in a remote enough area that it was very quiet but still close enough to all the wonderful sights we wanted to see only being a short car drive away. The owner was outstanding and went above and beyond for an queries we had. We would definitely consider staying here again.

An absolutely beautiful cottage situated perfectly within a working farm.

We had sheep for neighbours and the most stunning views of lovely open countryside. We wanted for nothing within the cottage which was brilliantly furbished in all aspects. Best cottage we have ever been to thank you.

We couldn't have wished for a better booking.

The accommodation was amazing, the host was both welcoming and attentive. The facilties are far better than the images show to the point that we didn't want to leave !! We Will definitely be back next year!

Love love love this bungalow.

We come to Anglesey often to see family and this is the cleanest and most comfortable place we have stayed. We were very welcomed by the bubbly and goodies in the welcome pack. The bungalow is central to everywhere on the island which is perfect when you want to do something different every day. Olwyn was very helpful and on hand if needed but we didn’t need her because everything was perfect. Will stay again, thank you x

The cottage was clean and nicely presented with great countryside views.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. There was a welcome gift when we arrived. It suited what we wanted A good week.

Cynefin is a stunning bungalow set in a lovely rural location on Anglesey The bungalow is equipped with everything you should need Facilities top notch A truly comfortable luxurious holiday Olwyn on hand for any issues

Cynefin is absolutely beautiful, perfectly clean, and a convenient location for exploring Anglesey.

Our host, Olwen, was so kind and communicative all week long. Would highly recommend.

What a treat to stay here for our week in Angelsey.

This bungalow was spotlessly clean, stocked with everything we needed and provided the perfect location for nearby beaches and discovering the island. The enormous secure garden was great for our 2 dogs and our daily greeting from the bulls was wonderful. Olwen is lovely and thank you for our welcome treats. We would absolutely stay here again.

This cottage is in a idyllic location surrounded by livestock and fields.

The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing week away. The beds are so comfortable and cottage has a washing machine, dryer and dish washer. The advertisement doesn't do it justice. The garage space is amazing for storing your bags, coats and shoes. We played for house on the pool table which also turns into table tennis and ice hockey. Olwen the owner is the loveliest person and will help with anything you need, she is literally at the end of the phone. There is lots to do in this area with all the lovely beaches and coves. Restaurants and cafes, shops all close by but a car is needed. Can't wait to book again.

Amazing Bungalow, the photos don't do it justice.

Agree with everyone who has said it's a Home from Home and we can't wait to return again!! The owners kind gestures and attention are next to none. My animal crazy daughter had the best time surrounded by farms, the cows coming right up to the garden were a huge hit. Don't hesitate in booking, you won't regret it.

Our 2nd stay at this lovely property.

The property is like a home away from home in a picturesque location. It is very comfortable and spacious and has everything you could need and you can tell that the small details have been considered. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are a great size. We loved the farm location and our little boy developed a great interest in tractors during our holiday from watching through the windows. The garden is also great and perfect for our children and dogs to play. A generous welcome hamper was also left for us which was a nice touch. Olwen is very helpful and even delivered a non slip bath mat for our children to use during our stay. Another great trip and I hope we will be back for a 3rd time in the future. Thanks again Olwen.

The bungalow lacked nothing, it was warm comfortable and had everything a home needs.

Everything was clean and in its place, the views were fantastic, waking up some mornings to the sound of cows was so nice and different from home. I could go on and on but in essence a fantastic place to stay and would highly recommend and yes, we will be returning.

This cottage is one of the best we have experienced over many years.

The rooms are very spacious and the house is well designed and has been fully refurbished recently. The owner is friendly and helpful although we didn't need any help as everything went smoothly

Wonderful week in Anglesey.

Even the wet weather didn’t spoil it. The house is well placed for beautiful beaches (we swam in sea most days) and lovely restaurants. The ship served the most amazing fish stew. The house has everything you need for a home away from home experience. The kitchen is light and airy and had everything you needed to make meals. The rest of the house is beautifully decorated and really homely. Fast broadband- able to sign into Netflix etc on the smart tv. Dedicated office if you needed to work etc. Olwen couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely welcome basket with local produce and fizz with sweets for the kids- very thoughtful! Highly recommend *****

Extremely spacious,, very well eqùipped, very clean and most importantly a great welcome from the lovely Olwen.

I cannot speak highly enough of this holiday rental. It is well positioned for the coast and Llangefni for shopping.

The property is very comfortable and spacious, well equipped and its location provides access to the most beautiful dog walks.

The shower could use a boost and the hose pipe in the garage could do with an upgrade as it leaks too much. Other than that it was very enjoyable and we would like to come back in the future. Thank you for letting us stay in your property.

Very clean and comfortable bungalow it's got everything you need and very warm one of the best bungalows we have stayed in

Excellent property.

Well kitted out with everything that you could possibly need. Very clean with quality fittings. Great location and a perfect base from which all of Anglesey can be accessed. Peaceful location that is just perfect for a holiday getaway. Cynefin is just perfect in every aspect. Olwen is a fantastic host who genuinely makes sure that you have a great stay. Nothing is too much trouble and she is very friendly, helpful and genuine person.

Real home from home, the owner is lovely.

She checked with us mid stay to make sure all okay. If you want to cook whilst staying here the kitchen is well stocked with pans/equipment. The garage games table kept teenagers off phones. Plenty of storage for bikes etc. Office room was a blessing for bit of unexpected work. Lots of board games and even a few books if you fancy a read. Fantastic second stay for us this year, great additional touches of picnic benches at front and back of property since our Easter break. No matter what age range of family you’ll be pleased with this cottage. Stunning views with all the peace and quiet of being inland. Highly recommend!

I booked Cynefin based on the positive reviews that previous guests had written.

I was so glad I did because the property was so lovely. It is also located so close to lots of beautiful coastal locations.Thank You Sharon

The property is an absolute gem in a quiet location within beautiful countryside with stunning views towards the coast and Snowdonia mountains beyond.

All of the rooms are large and spotlessly clean with everything provided for a home from home perfect holiday. The owner was a great host where nothing was too much trouble even leaving welcome gifts for us on our arrival, which was a really nice touch. Can't wait to come back.

Property exactly as described beautiful throughout, lovely welcome gift which was totally unexpected, secure garden for the dogs, couldn’t have wanted anymore in a holiday cottage I would recommend this cottage to everyone.

An amazing place to stay.

A beautiful property, with lots of space and everything you need set in a picturesque location. The pictures really don't do it justice.

Olwen the owner really cares that her guests have a positive experience.

...the cottage is beautifully decorated, fresh clean and has everything you need for a relaxing comfortable stay, the views are stunning, the area has lovely walks, and very convenient for lligwy beach, where you can enjoy a freshly made pizza and beverage. Olwen provides beautiful white fluffy towels, the kitchen is well equipped and each room is tastefully set out....we all had a lovely time at this cottage and would have no hesitation in returning for another stay

We had a fantastic week at Cynefin (Easter holidays).

As a family of 6 ranging from 11-75yrs this was definitely the right property choice for all. It was really clean and fresh with a lovely welcome note from the owner. Nice touch having a couple of pints of milk, bottle of wine and some Welsh cakes waiting for us too! Views are stunning, we were lucky with weather and could see the sea from lounge windows and Parys mountain and copper mine trail isn’t too far away. The bungalow is large and really comfortable. Plenty of outside space for teenagers to play football etc even with 2 big cars parked up. My husband had to work a few days and managed fine from the ‘office’ room even with everyone in due to size of bungalow didn’t struggle with background noise on calls. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pans, Pyrex dishes and pizza trays. We had plenty of space even with all 6 of us in the kitchen area together. The bathroom was great for my elderly parent as only slight step into shower. They also managed easily enough with 2 steps up-to front door. We are already looking to book again and could easily bring our younger nephews as despite being inland, plenty for them to go at with football/snooker/air hockey table in garage. Lots of board games and jigsaws for rainy days too. Garage/game room could easily store enough bikes for all guests. The owner is fabulous, checked in (text) a couple of times and I have no doubt if there had been any issues, they would’ve been sorted out quickly. We left a textbook under a chair and hadn’t missed it until the owner found it. It was quickly posted back to us, which was great. Can’t praise this rental enough!

First class accommodation.

Very clean & everything you need. The property was lovely & was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend as the location is quiet & peaceful with excellent facilities nearby

What an amazing place this is.

Great rural location to get away from it all. Views are spectacular. We arrived at the bungalow which was beautiful & warm. Everything you could possibly want & more provided. Beds are super comfy. The owner text a Few times to make sure we were ok which was really thoughtful. Highly recommend.

What can i say!

This is a fabulous cottage, super clean and modern. we had 4 children and 1 dog.We loved every minute of this holiday - close to beaches 5/10 minute drive. The owners are really welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for them. looked after us brilliantly. Even sent my Son's special cuddly toy back to us! I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
