Y Felinheli is a lovely little village nestled right on the shores of the Menai Strait. Legend has it the name originates from a mill built close to the shore called 'Aber y felin'. Possibly better known, in English though, as Port Dinorwic; with its link with the former slate quarry, now home to the National Slate Museum.
