Brynsiencyn holiday cottages are located on the south-west coast of Anglesey.
Why Brynsiencyn?
Brynsiencyn is a quiet little village that packs a big punch when it comes to its fascinating history. It is thought to have once been the cultural capital of the island.
At Castell Bryn Gwyn (White Hill Castle), just outside the village, you can visit a ritual site that’s as old as the Egyptian pyramids. The site is close to the tallest standing stones in Wales, which date from the Bronze Age. It is said that locals knocked some of the stones over in the 18th century as they thought treasure was hidden beneath them. By all accounts, they left empty-handed.
Anglesey Sea Zoo is located close to the village and is a great attraction for the whole family to enjoy. Discover the underwater world of over 150 native species in the largest aquarium in Wales.
