Rhoscolyn is the southernmost village on Holy Island - a small island to the west of Anglesey which is accessible by a road bridge. Visitors to our Rhoscolyn holiday cottages love it for its fabulous sea views, rockpooling, paddling, birdwatching and the peace and quiet. It’s also well known for its excellent seafood which you can buy fresh from the water at the village fishmonger. Look out for a stone memorial on the cliffs which commemorates the life of a brave sea captain’s dog called Tyger. He pulled four men ashore when their vessel was wrecked off the coast here in 1819.
