Llandudno cottages are so popular with guests as there is so much to see and do in Llandudno and the surrounding area. From thrill-seeking activities to lazy days on the beach, it has it all covered.

Why Llandudno?

Llandudno is a beautiful, bustling seaside town located on the North Wales coast just off the A55. This bustling town has a huge sheltered beach, with a long Victorian Pier and promenade. In the summer the beach is a popular spot for tourists, along the beach you will also find the traditional open-air Craig Y Don paddling pool. You will also find traditional Punch and Judy shows on the promenade as well as boat trips, and the Pier (the longest in the UK) comes alive with fairground rides, arcades and food stores.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre you can take a tram or cable car to the top of the Great Orme. The views from here are fantastic and can stretch as far as the Isle of Man. As well as enjoying some beautiful walks, you can visit the Bronze Age Copper Mines or even have a go at skiing or tobogganing on the dry ski slope.

Llandudno has lots of variety when it comes to food and drink places. Providero, Jonny Doguhs and The Cottage Loaf are all worth a visit.

The Arts feature prominently as well, Mostyn Art gallery is Wales' leading gallery for international contemporary art, and Venue Cymru theatre hosts a wide selection of plays, bands, and musicals. With an active events diary throughout the year, Llandudno should definitely be on your list of places to visit in North Wales.

For those looking for a bit of adventure, you're also just a short drive from Zip World, home to Europe’s longest zip wire and adventure park, Bounce Below and Adventure Parc Snowdonia.
